Jack has some ‘splainin’ to do! That’s right! Callie Lassiter’s normally well-behaved Great Dane Jack has run off and done the wild thing with the neighbor’s dog. It must be puppy love! It’s doubly embarrassing since she’s a professional dog trainer. Of course, the neighbor would have to be hot, hot nightclub owner bad boy Owen McKay, just the kind of man Callie is determined to avoid. Owen’s …
Owen’s comfortable with his playboy status and the hype in the media. But the ground moves beneath his feet when he gets an eyeful of the girl next door. The Dog Whisperer never looked this good! How can he convince this wholesome honey that his player days are behind him? Maybe Jill, his Great Dane can help him with this dilemma now that she’s pregnant and Callie’s dog is to blame.
Is this bad boy a bad bet?
Beware of dogs, romance and deep belly laughs!
Going to the Dogs is a romp through the urban jungle of New York City to find true love, the perfect cocktail, and expensive heels. Dog is a man’s best friend, but sometimes a woman just needs a hot man in the city. This series will appeal to a mature crowd, especially fans of Sex in The City.

Could have been good. Nice story. Great characters. It was a little chopped up. Too much detail on what people were wearing or looked like. Some spelling errors. New author?
Enjoyed this book very much….really like the “tomboy” heroine, which can also result in beautiful lady! Owen came from tragic past, but his late Aunt Tilly helped him realize that he can love, and be loved back. Both Owen and Callie were dog owners, and I loved that also…..nice people own dogs!! Recommend this book as a light easy sexy read!!
Quick read
This the story with a familiar theme of opposites falling in love. The hero is a self-made man that grow up on the wrong side of tracks, that doesn’t trust anyone and live his life now as a Playboy owner of a hottest Night Club in NYC. Then there is the well educated, twenty something nature loving girl that grew up in very comfortably in a stable home with loving parents that is a now living in the big city and runs her own small business. You know the “girl next store type” and actually she is, as she is the Playboy’s neighbor. The twist to this classic romance theme, is these two meet through their dogs. So if you like romance and are a dog lover, this book is for you.
I loved it ,the characters are believable and situation is realistic.
great story
Love this book
This had such potential with dogs and a cute, opposites attract couple, but the flat writing, too much tell-not-show, and a crew of the most irritating set of friends EVER just sabotaged it.
The H is a hold your horses, bad boy, that the h must be protected from by her posse of annoying, interfering alarmist friends. In actuality, he has slept around and shown some pretty poor judgment, the OW is an example of that, but he’s cupcake when it comes to the h.
Dog bonus with an extra yippee for Great Danes and a meet cute a la The Hundred and One Dalmatians. And an extra tiny bonus for an evil OW comeuppance.
You know what, just read The Hundred and One Dalmatians. It’s not as much of a kid’s book as you would think and infinitely better
Cute concept for the plot. Well written
I stopped reading the book because it didn’t keep my interest.
enjoyed reading it
Cute, particularly for dog lovers. An ok read.
The book was a cute read but isn’t something I’ll read again.
Loved the characters with their dogs and friends involved!!
An easy to read romance. funny at times, the dog dilemma added to the humor, and a HEA. Definitely going to read more by this author.
The characters wasted so much time trying not to get together that it was a bit angsty. It was an okay stand-alone read.
This was a very cute story, easy and fast read, and was easy to get into. Great for a sunny, Sunday afternoon.
Loved this book! Want to read more by the author & in this series.
The ending felt a little rushed but I enjoyed the story.
A very well written book that held my interest to the very end!
