Her … for him.
Her determination to protect Paul pulls Troy from her quiet life in a small Adirondack town into an unfamiliar world of wealth and privilege in Canada and then in Vermont. An interesting premise, a plot that moves along and keeps you engaged, and fleshed out characters you get to know and care about. Even better, it leaves you waiting for a sequel.
Good book
Amazingly different plot with twists & turns and beautiful storyline with great suspense and scary as well! Loved it!
This book caught me on the first page. Loved it so much. I could not put this book down.
Easy to read. Unrealistic. Entretaining.Very light reading. I skipped many pages. At times boring. I liked the beginning but after the first two chapters I lost interest. Did not meet my expectations . This is an update after finishing the book.
I found the main character sparse and flat. The story seemed a mix of detective novel, women’s fiction and romance but not satisfyingly any of them. The plot seemed contrived. It was an easy read but I wouldn’t read it again nor recommend it.
Tied things up rather quickly in the end. I would have preferred more realistic problem solving within the book.
Great potential, then goes flat. Kept waiting for it to pick up again, but got worse.
