Such a wonderful read!
A wonderfully moving story between two passionate, yet fragile men who find solace in each other. A beautifully written book. I also adored the narration by Nick J Russo.
NR Walker is one of my most favorite MM romance writers. This was another one that I could not put down until finished. Highly recommended!

Aww, my heart. These guys have stolen my heart and I know I’m not getting it any time soon. I think I swooned over a dozen times during the course of this novel. Such a great, warm fuzzy feeling.
Full of learning, feeling, saving lives, coming out, living and love.
Perfect for readers of contemporary romances.
Nathan, needing a change from his hectic life as a doctor in a busy Boston hospital, sees a job opportunity at a small hospital in Belfast, Maine. The sad part of it all is that he just seems so lifeless. His day to day routine consists of work, work, sleep, work. Maybe this change is just what the doctor ordered ~ for himself. He arrives at the house that was made available to him as a perk of this new job and walks in on Trent, the painter working inside. Nathan can’t help but feel something for Trent. Just the fact that he feels anything shocks him more than the realization that it’s Trent who’s responsible for his awakening. Trent’s mind works differently that Nathan’s. He is an artist whose abstract work of textures and patterns tell a story which Nathan’s scientific mind can’t grasp too well. These two become hot for each other very quickly ~ neither wanting to admit that it’s more than casual. The supporting characters are great. Nathan’s family is loving and supportive ~ just so grateful of Trent for bringing their son so much happiness. A beautiful and unforgettable story of how love awakens the heart and the soul, which in return, makes us aware of the fact that we are all meant to feel.
One of the best books I’ve read in a very long time. The story line, characters and dialogue were so well done. I was hooked from page one and didn’t want to put it down. I could feel how Nathan’s life was empty and vague. Nothing but work defined who or what he was. Even his familial relationships felt empty to me. Then he met Trent. Slowly I realized how each of these men taught the other what it was to “feel”, to really live and how to love completely. You have a standing ovation from me Ms. Walker. Well done!
Highly recommended
This was a solid 4* read, until Ms. Walker pulled out the big guns and hit me Right.In.The.Feels. The last few chapters pushed this into 5* status for me. One minute I had tears running down my face and then the next second I was cracking up. Kat was some much needed comic relief there at the end- I think NR Walker channeled every straight female who reads m/m and watches gay porn into her character!
Loved it!
