ONE OF THE GREATEST BREAKTHROUGHS IN HUMAN HISTORY.AN ACHIEVEMENT THAT STUNNED THE ENTIRE WORLD.AND IT WAS ONLY THE BEGINNING.Facing the cold, clear glass, Alison Shaw stared nervously into the giant seawater tank.It was just one year ago that she and her team of marine biologists had stunned the world with their incredible breakthrough. And now, they were about to do it again. But an ocean away, … do it again.
But an ocean away, something strange was unfolding. Along a lonely coast in South America, an experimental Russian submarine, long thought to have been dismantled, has suddenly resurfaced. And the U.S. Navy has taken notice, sending officers John Clay and Steve Caesare to investigate.
The sub has been studying a group of unmarked soldiers. Disappearing into the jungle each night beneath the cover of darkness. Something has been discovered…something big.
And it’s about to fall into the wrong hands. Unless Alison Shaw and her team can find something that no one else can.

Leap is the second installment in Michael C. Grumley’s Breakthrough series, and it is just as action-packed and fun as book one, Breakthrough. There’s nothing abstruse or complicated about these novels; rather they are straightforward and exciting, offering characters to love and situations to transport and engross. They are precisely the “summer …
More futuristic then most stories I normally read but it was enjoyable.
NOT REALISTIC EVEN IT WAS WRITEN OF FICTION. PREDICTABLE
Loved this series couldn’t put it down.
This series’s of books I could not put down from the first to the fourth the story was well thought out and action packed!
Several twists.
Great read!
Good but certainly not equivalent to Clive Cussler work. It was credible in the beginning and then took a dive down into a scenario that lacked plausibility.
I really liked this story. It’s the second book I’ve read by Michael Grumley.
I’m sorry this book didn’t appeal to me. It was kind of campy. Interesting premise, but not enough to finish it.
Slow start, then it just stops being interesting
I throughly enjoyed this book, it’s different and a great premise. Will continue with the series, reading book one now Breakthrough, very original great storyline.
Great read!
Pretty cool story. I liked the technology, and the characters of the dolphins were cool. The parallel mystery-adventure was good.
I like this book and its predecessor…..I don;t like the government and military as bad people who only do terrible things for the good of the world…though the leading lady does fall in love with the LTC. some artificial characters. Despite all that it is a good read.
I loved this book! It was original and hard to put down.
The human animal interaction is so dog like but so much more rewarding..
I’ve read two of these books and while I liked the characters and found the books interesting, the main premise behind the story line was a disappointment to me. I can’t say much more without giving away a main plot line, but suffice it to say this series leapt into an unexpected genre.
Completely unrealistic portrayal of government and military culture and operations. Totally unbelievable, although the storyline could have been very enjoyable.
Science fiction at this point perhaps, but creating realistic scenarios of being able to communicate with other species through electronics. The story follows a second thread as well looking into discovery of a life extending gene enhancement
