Well performed on audio and my favorite of the series.
Loved this book. Out of the 4 in the series, this one is my fave. I like how Lena & Jimmy match each other. Lena’s character seems so down to earth, I was able to connect with her. I couldn’t help but fall in love with Jimmy. Good story, but make sure you read all 4 books in the series. You’ll love them!!
I really enjoyed reading this book!!
My favorite book in this series. Lena and Jimmy’s story is an amazing combo of rom-com, Rockstar life and angst. The book made me feel all the feels. I was sad, I had lots of laugh out loud moments and even teared up a couple of times.
Lena is Jimmy’s sobriety partner. She is a no-bullshit, balls busting heroine. She falls in love with Jimmy and decides to quit and find a replacement.
Jimmy, oh Jimmy, the aloof, cold, repressed Stage Dive singer… he goes about convincing Lena to embark in a 5 points plan to get over her feelings for him. He gets her massages, encourages to live me, even sets her up on dates. In the meantime, they become closer and closer.
When they finally get together and she confessed her love, Jimmy panics and says the worst things. This guy, he is so clueless most of the time. The things he says, oh man!
But this story is so beautiful, amazingly so!
And Andi Arndt, she is a fantastic narrator yet again.
Jimmy and Lena
Jimmy Ferris is the lead singer of the famous rock band, Stage Dive…He’s a recovering alcoholic and his mother has left him angry and emotionally unavailable…Lena Morrissey is a temp employee who gets fired in the presence of the band, and they decide to hire her as a sober companion/assistant for Jimmy… She falls in love…he doesn’t…she leaves….good book…I have really loved this series…
Kylie certainly does have interesting characters with very human characteristics. Loved the book.
Loved series
Jimmy’s past actions made me hate him and yet I couldn’t wait to find out more about him! I adored this book. Sweet, innocent, and STRONG heroine to the rescue. I adored how she stood her ground and made him realize what he had in front him the whole time. There was so much depth to this story and it completely and utterly grabbed me from start to finish.
I love a rock and roll bad boy with a heart of gold and trust issues and I love a strong feisty woman who can tame them.
I loved this book and this series! It’s one you don’t want to miss!
Man these Stage Dive men. This book was another addictive read and I really loved how tough Lena was as a character. I’m not too sure how I feel about Jimmy. I didn’t particularly like him in the first two books, and although the I don’t dislike him, I don’t love him as a character either. It was fun to watch his and Lena’s relationship play out and for him to realise things about himself, but the best character in this one was Lena herself. I loved her attitude. She’s sassy and strong and independent even if she doesn’t realise it at times. Not to mention her inner thoughts could be quite hilarious and entertaining. Of course all the Stage Dive regulars are in the book as well, including my beloved Mal. I’m keen to read the next book as it’s pretty clear who it’s going to be about (even if you haven’t already read the blurb). Another fun and quick read from Kylie Scott.
The Stage Dive series is so much fun to read, the characters keep you equally entertained and aggravated, and the slow burn between Jimmy and Lena is hot as hell.
Jimmy is the lead singer of Stage Dive, Lena is hired as his assistant and sober companion. Jimmy is hard to deal with and has gone through several assistants already when Mal convinced him Lena is the one for the job. When Lena develops feelings will Jimmy be able to deal or will she have to quit for her own piece of mind? I love how these books all show the band in support of each other. When Jimmy went off the rails they were there to try to get him straight. Lena was great with her tough love, she knew when to push and when to offer comfort. I love all these Stage Dive boys and their loves.
Loved it. Fantastic characters.
I love all the Stage Dive books. Mal is one memorable/hysterical hero. Could read again and again.
Another great book in the Stage Dive Series
Oh My God i am speechless , ok not really but this book is Amazing, i absolutely loved every freaking second of this bitchen book.
Ok i so can relate to Lena, she doesn’t know when to stop talking and it tends to get her into trouble , she’s funny and she really tries to get through to Jimmy and it works , they ease into a friendship that turns into so much more , Jimmy really needed someone and it is awesome that lena was abke to find the strength and stick it out , Jimmy had run off everyone before her , i loved when they had their little tifs and then she would be mad at Jimmy but he had no idea why (thats a man for ya) but then it would finally click and he would find some way to make it up to her.
Ok i fell hard and fast for Jimmy, hes just so endearing in a standoffish way , hes been through alot and he’s done things that he isn’t proud of but he got clean and he made amends , i loved that lena is one of the only people he has shown his sofrer side too, i know it sure as hell suprised her too but they have similarities and they both had to get to know each other more to finally see them, omg it was so funny to watch them both get jealous of each other when they tried to date other people even though it was both their idea , they totally rock as a couple one they figured it out 🙂
I am loving this series, maybe a little too much my sister just told me that i am acting a little crazy but it was such a fun/sexy book that i couldn’t keep the smile off my face or the laughs to myself,i say its a must read .
I am loving this Stage Dive Series and even though they’re standalones I’ve been reading them in order and have been particularly curious to Jimmy’s story. This man has layers upon layers that slowly are peeled back when Lena gets hired on and their friendship grows. I can completely understand the emotions Lena has as she is literally the shadow of Jimmy day in and day out. The will they won’t they is a battle I found myself questioning outloud more often then not through their story and it drive me mad but at the same time it was wonderful seeing them experience each other on a work based and then blooming friendship level. When you’re around the members in this band you know you’ll be laughing at their antics at times and there is no short comings of that happening again now. This is a great read, a rockstar romance that you need to bump to the top of your TBR list if you haven’t already.
Listened to the audio book.
One of my favorite books of the series. Though he treats her poorly through the book. I love how she loves him unconditionally and how that breaks through to him. A very romantic story.
Slow burn at its finest.
