When he finally catches up to them in a rural area just south of Dallas, Cade captures Emily and decides to use her for bait to apprehend her brother. Can this bounty hunter find it in his heart to see past Emily’s lawless ways and be able to see the kind-hearted woman that lies beneath? Can Emily start over and be freed from her past through loving Cade? And will the Jessup siblings finally find redemption?

Emily starts out thoroughly hating the bounty hunter, Cade, when he captures her. The ending is such a funny, delight that should make you laugh. Absolutely amazing & unbelievable. I couldn’t help but laugh. Never would have thought up such an ending.
Life isn’t always black and white, and this story is a great example of that truth. Siblings, Elias and Emily Jessup, are on their own after their parents kicked Elias out, Emily left with him. But they were struggling, starving to death, no clothes, no job, and no prospects. What starts out as just a means to survive, becomes one more mark and another theft. Some of their targets weren’t good people, many of the men were braggarts, but stealing is stealing until they catch the attention of a bounty hunter and she gets caught and he kills a man trying to save his sister.
Such a great book. I loved the characters especially, Emily. This story had me laughing. The relationship between Emily and Cade was so well written it made me want to read more once the book was done. The ending was well done, if fact it was my favorite part. The ending has a big surprise that was spectacular! I can’t wait to read the next book in this series! I highly recommend.
What a fun story! I loved reading about Emily and Cade’s adventure! From animosity to cautious friendship to ultimately love, “Lawfully Yours” kept me entertained from start to finish. So much so, that I read it in one day! Cade can be funny, and Emily is a wonderful spitfire! If you’re looking for a fast, fun read, I encourage you to grab a copy of Ginny Sterling’s “Lawfully Yours” and go along for the ride!
Emily and Elias are siblings who has promised themselves to never be hungry again. Now they are robbing wealthy men, but without using guns. At some point it had to go wrong, they picked the wrong man. Emily was rescued by the bounty hunter Cade but he took her away to lure her brother. But what will happen when the attraction starts between them?
This was a really enjoyable read with a very unexpected end, you have to read this and be surprised. Looking forward to read the story about Elias.
This was truly an enjoyable book to read! The characters were so fun and I was sincerely disappointed when the book ended. Speaking of ending, the ENDING of the book was fantastic and such a surprise! It is worth reading the book just for the ending! I was definitely not expecting the way it ended but it was great!
Emily and Elias are siblings who take to robbing (but no guns, that’s a rule!) because they are tired of starving to death! Enter the bounty hunter, Cade Singleton, who is very focused on bringing them in. He only catches Emily but on his trip back to the county seat where he will present her to the judge, he gets to know her and sparks are a flyin’! He’s still a black and white kind of guy so he still turns her over to the judge but that’s where things get interesting! AND, who should show up but Emily’s brother, Elias, with another bounty hunter! You’ll just have to read the story to see how it all works out! There are some funny moments and some tender moments but it all ends up being one fantastic story!
I appreciate the author providing me with an early copy to read. My opinion is my own.
