This was sweet romance that will keep you turning the pages. I loved how the characters came together and became a family.
I absolutely loved this book – it was sweet and tender, just what I was looking for
Aiden certainly wasn’t ready for a date with a lady. Jenna Brandt includes romance, K-9’s, searches, problems with child placements, and humor. I loved this book and look forward to the next.
I liked this story very much. The characters are believable. Their relationship grows at a believable pace. I like that there is a happy ending for the couple & a little boy who needs a home.
This is the first book I’ve read in this series. I loved the K-9 search and rescue dogs and the people who help and protect the foster children, but it was really tame for my kind of reading.
Aiden, a K9 officer, meets Lindsey, how works as children social worker. When they meet their attraction is instant but their first date is a disaster. Aiden gets a second chance and this time he appreciates Lindsay for who she is, a dedicated god loving woman. Throw in a little boy and sweet working dog and you have a very enjoyable story.
This very sweet story features a social worker and a K-9 rescue duo, focused on helping others and discovering God’s plan for themselves. There are several exciting searches and insights into the desperate need for fostering as well as some of the pitfalls.
If two people were ever meant for each other it is Aiden and Lindsay. Both give their time to caring for and helping people. Aiden is an officer that works with the K-9’s on search and rescuer. Healing from a broken heart he is not looking for a new attachment. Lindsey is a social worker who helps displaced children find homes and is still working through some issues from her past. The two had run into each other but never really connected until they are searching for a missing child. They finally go out on a date but things do not go as planned. Can the two find love together or are old hurts always to come between them? With God’s help and guidance, anything is possible. A beautifully written story guaranteed to warm your heart.
Fun book! I loved the messed up first date! Most books don’t tell about the mess ups and I appreciate this scene. Makes the story seem more real!
This is Aiden and Lindsay’s story both of whom are not keen to date at the time when they meet but they can’t deny that they feel an attraction for each other.
She immerses herself with her social worker work with children placing them with foster parents. He and his trusted canine search for and find missing persons.
The story is beautifully written and unfolds quite gently leading to a satisfactory ending.
I loved the honesty that both of them bring into their relationship.
I am quite happy to recommend this most enjoyable ebook which I received as a free advance copy and this is my voluntary and unbiased review.
