“It’s the fight, isn’t it? The struggle. The idea that I’ll pin you down and take what I want…” He smiled, slow and dangerous. Watching me struggle to deny him. Watching me fail…Bound to a man I hate, I’m trapped. All that I was is gone. Taken. Stripped away, only to feed the beast who dares to call himself my equal, while having the gall to leave me helpless to his whims. Who offers … the gall to leave me helpless to his whims. Who offers protection in place of my Goddess-given power.
Protection I didn’t need before him.
Captain Asher Rawlings is a man apart. Relentless. Driven to take and possess.
And he’s winning.

This book is great. It has something for everyone. It’s a romantic tale with a few extra twists. Mila and Asher have been going after each other for a while. This story makes you want to cry, cheer, giggle with hope and then hate. There is a dark side to everyone and the key is to control it. Asher hides his actual purpose in binding Mila to himself. The answers for all questions you have about can be found in this third book. I would recommend reading the books in order to have a better understanding of the whole series.
Holy hell this was amazeballs!!! I said last review that i couldn’t wait for the next book, geez you did not dissapoint! This book was do great!
All that build up in the last two books between Asher and Mila finally exploded – i love to hate Asher (but secretly I just love him) and Mila is abit of a crazy psycho, but also so genuine and real. I think she us starting to like/hate Asher now – but still needs to end up on top and be the winner. Best combo of a “couple” i’ve ever read.
Im looking forward to seeing how quickly Asher and Mila see each other again especially with the ending as it is. It will be explosive. Can’t wait!!!!
Book three in the Last Tritan series. This books starts right when the second book left off, so you can’t read it as a standalone.
We see the aftermath of what happened in book 2. Mila, Asher and the general come head to head. Secrets are revealed and the complicated relationship between Mila and Asher gets even more complicated while being taken to the next level. Both are attracted to each other. That is not something Asher hides, but Mila is still in denial.
I find Mila a hard character to really like, but she frustrates me to end. She never thinks things through, but just does what she want without caring about the consequences.
The bok is a whirlwind of action and emotions.
Myra brings you the third installment of the Last Tritan series and let me tell you, she doesn’t disappoint. Packed with more action then the last we continue to follow Mila on her journey to recover what was stolen from her. She must come to terms that in war you can’t fight fair, and you have to make sacrifices. Even if it means betraying something you hold closely to heart to gain victory.
This is by far my favorite so far.
In this book we see a more caring side of the Asher, I think he truly care for Mila. But the circumstances made them enemies.
I want to know more of the training Asher received from Sasha.
I liked that Mila is starting to actually think more before taking action.
We finally see the connection between this two and is steamy!!
The last quarter of the book is my favorite.
Sasha standing up for herself, helping Mila and making them equals is fantastic.
I want to know how Mila and Asher are going to navigate this new connection!!!
“You’re wild and beautiful” – he fell forward, caging me beneath him, elbow at my ear, fingers scooping behind my neck – “and you’re mine.”
Myra Danvers has done it again!
Lavish Destruction is the 3rd book in The Last Tritan series so if you haven’t read the previous 2 books you need to.
After 5 long years, Captain Asher Rawlings has Mila Tannovic right where he wants her, as his bondmate. Mila is in a vulnerable position, the people she thought she trusted have severely let her down. As for trusting Asher she cannot allow herself to submit to him, though the urge is there. The attraction that was hinted at in the previous books is consummated between the two. Asher can be conceited and condescending towards Mila but underneath he cares for her and wants to keep her safe so no one knows her true potential. Though their relationship is still extremely shaky I cannot wait to see how Myra continues the growth between Mila and Asher as a couple.
Mila is back with a vengeance!
In part 3 we get great Mila/Asher moments, steamy, crazy, complicated, wonderful moments. Due to their interactions, I found myself wanting to know more of Asher, the training he received from Sasha etc. In book 2 I wanted Mila to wreck havoc. I got that and so much more in Lavish Destruction. I admit, at certain times I almost wanted Mila to go easy on Asher. Thats Great Writing!
Part 3 of the Tritan Series is so fulfilling, steamy and Mila gets a little vindication. But can good times last? Do they ever? For Mila I doubt it, but I love that she constantly fights, even when it seems like a losing battle. I can’t wait to find out how Mila and Asher will navigate moving forward with all of the new changes they’ve went through. Best book in the series so far. 10/10
Let us all take a moment to reflect on the many wonders this world has bestowed upon us. From the mesmerising lakes of the Swiss countryside to the mythical Myra Danvers from the land of the Canadians. Boy have we been spoilt.
I’ll start off by saying this book is LITERALLY what we wanted, what we needed. What we’ve all been craving for in our dreams. You get the picture.
Okay, Okay!! I’ll get to the review now 🙂
Things I loved about this book:
– A really interesting plot that you won’t be able to predict. Seriously, I tried and all my guesses were really far off. I was on the edge of my seat the entire time
– A really good heroine who undergoes a steep learning curve and shows some serious growth. Mila at the end of book 3 wouldn’t even be able to recognise the Mila at the start of book 3. Mila isn’t the perfect heroine; she’s (sometimes) rash and overconfident. I love that she’s slightly crazy and unpredictable but the perfect counterpart to our extremely rational Captain
– Asher (be still my heart), an unusual male lead who isn’t filled to the brim with unrealistic masculinity but is still extremely dark and sexy. I really liked that he isn’t always in control of everything that is happening – that he doesn’t ‘win’ every time (unlike the common trope)
– The sidekick Marco who is kinda hot when angry 😉
– This book is a lot more centred on the relationships between the characters and how they interact. So I really felt like I got to know them better as people. Sometimes though, I wish I hadn’t been given the pleasure *cough*GeneralTilcot*cough*.
A couple of very minor points that I would love to see being incorporated a little more in the next books:
– A slightly clearer concept of timescale, sometimes I forget it has only been a couple of days XD
– I love the ancient yet modern back drop of this series and would love to see some more of it explored
Overall, I really have enjoyed this series and will (obviously) eagerly await the next release <3
Bravo Myra Danvers, Lavish Destruction was everything and then some more
The first two books of The Last Tritan series have had me excitedly on the edge of my seat, whilst also howling in frustration, snarling at shadows and bitter at all the injustices that were served up. Lavish Destruction elicited all those familiar emotions but also, eventually, it gave me a tiny sliver of hope to temper the agony.
The author writes with a voice that holds you spellbound. Every single scene and conversation holds a purpose, nothing is as throw away as it may first appear. The sheer brilliance of how she weaves together so many different strands and story elements is astounding. What starts as seemingly random splashes of colour and texture, gradually form into a breathtaking tapestry that warps your mind with it’s beauty and sheer stunning brilliance.
Mila is mired in a twisted web of deceit, half truths and intricate plots. An unwilling pawn in the power struggles of others, she still allows her passions to rule her and still stumbles from one catastrophe to another. In some heroines I might find this an annoying trait, but there is just something so strong and determined, yet fragile and vulnerable, about her that I can’t help but adore Mila.
Asher continues to be somewhat of an arrogant ass, though he clearly cares for Mila, is it as a person or as a possession? Is he more interested in her power than in her? I’m not sure if he doesn’t know that for himself, he is wilfully blind to the truth or he is just has his head shoved up his, well I’m sure you can guess where I mean. We do find that Asher’s position within the Elite is not as assured as first impressions gave. Add in the fact that evil forces are afoot, forces that have their own plans for Mila and Asher and you will understand the title of this book.
This is not a stand alone book, you need to have read both Ravenous Innocence and Insatiable Corruption prior to diving into the glorious depths of this tome. However all three books are absolutely amazing and will have you caught in a world of pain, mystery, despair, hope and magic. This is an amazing series and a definite must read.
Queen of Things Both Savage and Wild!
Myra Danvers leads us further into her Lavish Destruction with our favorite ‘little lunatic,’ Mila.
We have earned the right to delve into book three of her The Last Titan series, and grovel at the feet of one of the most creatively carnal authors in the indie writing world.
Finally, there is the ‘meeting of the Captain and his slave, and it is phenomenally corrupted, just like we love!
Please make sure that you take the self love route and read books one and two in this series, so you will be head over heels for the characters that have been developed in the creative cavity called Ms. Danvers’ brain.
WARNING: this is a unique world where you will be drawn in, shackled, and committed to our Queen of Savage and Wild!
Yes! This book was so good. The previous book was just a set up for this. Emotional twists and turns that had Mila having to really trust others against her instincts and let go just enough to return to her kick ass self. It’s all going to erupt in next one when the captain comes for her. So excited.
