Spending summer break in paradise was a dream come true.
All expenses paid and the chance to date a Hollywood heartthrob?
I couldn’t sign up for the Fix Up fast enough.
Too bad I didn’t read the fine print.
You see, all it takes is a little editing and poof, you’re a TV villain.
I went from culinary kid to #cancelled.
Why?
I fell in love with Theron Slater.
The rising star dropped … in love with Theron Slater.
The rising star dropped me without so much as a warning.
Now I’m left with a heart as minced as the garlic in the only kitchen that will hire me.
A heart that turns to stone when he shows up one day at my job looking for more than just takeout.
Did he really think a simple sorry would cut it?
I’m Talita Nunes.
America’s most-hated girl.
And the last person who will ever fall for that dimpled smile again.

Oh my goodness I was so excited to read this book and it delivered. You absolutely have to start with the first, “Dashing Through the No”, not required, but don’t miss out on all the goodness it contains. Theron and Talita start off in a pretty unconventional way and then it takes a hard right from there. If you are looking for a story that has humor, heart and heat you’ve come to the right place. KB Cinder always delivers and I will continue to read everything she writes.
I absolutely love when I get to start a new KB Cinder book. I know that I will be sucked right in with witty banter, sexy times and a just enough emotional turmoil to keep me on my toes. This story was no exception although I wasn’t ready for the emotions to hit me right off the bat. I was drawn right in with the drama that was Lita and Slater’s lives and didn’t put the book down until I read every last word.
This is book three in the Holly Hearth series. Talita Nunes signs up for a dating reality show, Fix Up with the heartbreaker Theron Slater. These two characters have great chemistry and make for an amazing read. This series is absolutely hilarious and heartwarming, this book is not different and a great addition. Enjoy!

These characters are engaging with plenty of chemistry and a well developed storyline that has a smooth flow from page to page.

This story had a good flow. The characters were great. This was the first book that I’ve read by this author, but it won’t be the last. I was very amused throughout the book. I found myself laughing throughout most of the book. I’m ready to go back and read the previous books in the series as well as looking forward to any future works from KB Cinder.

Later Slater pulls back the curtain and shows us the inner workings of a dating show. The good, the bad and the ugly…ohh..and the cutthroat.
This is the third book in the Holly Hearth series. It can be read as a stand alone but take my word and start with Dashing Through the No.
With this installment, you get the humor, snark, sexy times that make KB Cinder’s books fantastic but with a tad more angst.
Talita was relatable and I loved her connections with family and friends.
Theron was a bit harder for me to love or understand. I felt like he had spent his whole life pleasing others and doing what was expected of him that he lost his identity.
It took almost losing the love of his life to force him to make changes.
I loved watching them overcome everything and carve out a life together.
Another stellar book from one of my favorite authors.
KB Cinder does it again with Later Slater. This author gets my blood pressure up and makes me laugh my a$$ off at the same time like no other. Each book she writes gets funnier and funnier and honestly I should not be surprised what comes out of her head. But yet I still am. This book was laugh out loud funny and witty dialogue. Theron and Talita might be my favorite couple from this series. I swear each story sets the bar higher and higher and Cinder comes through and always out does herself. So please check out this series and be prepared to binge read. Make a weekend out of it, and get in on the laughs and fun with this series.
I just loved this book. It was so well-written that it captured my mind and I was dragged along for the ride. Once I started reading I could not put it down until I read the last page.
