A Must read
Entertaining oater, good humor, detailed action and interesting characters
I get in the mood for westerns every now and then. Some good, some bad, but usually entertaining. Never read this author before, but I will read again. Some things predictable, but that’s alright. After you’ve read a few thousand books, it seems like many plots are similar. It’s a good western though.
Great Western# If you don’t enjoy this one you just don’t like a good Western.
Take time to put this one on your must read list.
The writing is pretty good, and the characters are likable and believable, even if their thoughts and ideas are more from today than the era of the story. I could not rate it more highly though, since it was completely predictable and hackneyed. I’ve seen the same story over and over in numerous TV westerns of the 60s and even in children’s cartoon shows. It was also obviously just an introduction to characters that would return in later stories in the series. I doubt I will be reading those. I’m glad I got this for free.
If the other books in series are as good, I will be a happy camper
Not a traditional Louis Lamour, Max Brand, Zane Grey western.
Excellent western.
If you want to read a western novel, this could be it. It has a modern twist but is enjoyable to pass time.
Okay! A decent but not great western.
Smart, hard to put down cowboy books are fun to read.
Enjoyed it. Keep me interested.
In a way, it’s hard to say why I liked this book as much as I did. It is basically a simple story, written in an easy, uncomplicated style. It’s sweet and presents us with characters who have personal dignity and values they hold strongly. I found it a highly readable and enjoyable story.
I liked the story line and feel that it was good enough to make a good book reading. I thought the sex scenes were unnecessary and didn’t add anything to the book.
. Reading a really good book that I can recommend to a friend is getting more and more difficult. Too many authors are not talented enough to write a book without filthy language or explicit sexual encounters. They need to go back to some of the classics and read them to see what makes a good book, great and appropriate to various aged people.
Best western i have read in a long time..
I really enjoyed this book, it was a great story. This book was also very clean no bad language or unsavory situations, just a really good story.
Great Western can’t wait for the next in a the series
the mix of Christian characteristics and lustful activities isincompatiblee to true Christians and misleads.
I liked the story. Easy to get into and it kept me reading.
