HAD SOME INTERESTING THEORIES. SOME TRUTHS AND SOME WISHFUL THOUGHTS, BUT OVERALL A PRETTY GOOD BOOK
This book would probably be a great read however, two chapters in the main characters were swearing and I am intolerant of language that could be replaced with something more intelligent.
The plot was a kid mash of the plots of other, similar stories: Stargate, DaVinci Code, and others.
A very predictable plot with some absolutely rediculous characters. The story involves our three heroes escaping from every booby=trap ever shown in an Indiana Jones and/or Laura Croft movie (from 20 ton boulders rolling down the tunnel behind them to solving the puzzle of the safe stepping stones across the pit of punji stakes).
Great syfi at its best. Very entertaining.
Not totally sure! Not really archaeological, but more sci-fi fantasy! Lots of action that keeps you involved, but a lot of it borders on the edge of “why bother?”
Not well written. Started out good then deteriorated. Point of view changes from one paragraph to another.
Entertaining and full of action, but a lot of that action was not credible, especially the miraculous survival of some of the main characters.
Great read for both my wife and I.
Very interesting twist at the end. Enjoyed it !
An interesting book but it has toooo many repetitive elements and phrases. parts of it got tedious. It was fun but …
Interesting take on ancient Egyptians and the alien theory
It was a fast paced adventure.
I enjoyed reading this book. It is interesting and entertaining.
did not like it
Story good, reader so-so. Some very strange pronunciations—papyrus, agate, Anubis, obelisk, a few others … kind of jarring on the ear.
Or you like James Rollins this book is for you! Couldn’t put it down!
