Society has already determined their destiny. Until these men appear and they change their lives forever. The first arrives from the Colonies, needing to find a husband before this Season’s end and her ailing father’s passing. But London’s society proves daunting and cruel to a lively girl who’s been raised away from its rules. Will a bitter Duke and his wise sister be enough to protect and guide … protect and guide her? Or will he be the one to endanger her heart most of all?
The second still mourns a love lost but never forgotten. On the verge of spinsterhood, she needs to decide her future, fast. When fate makes it so her path crosses that of her former suitor, will she be brave enough to seize that second chance? Or is their love condemned to be lost forever?
The third doesn’t think about marriage at all, until her parents demand her to do so. A secret admirer sends her unsigned letters that make her heart shiver – a secret admirer who is, in fact, her long-time friend. Will he finally win her heart before another one does? Will he find the courage to reveal the truth before it’s too late?

Three stories in one. I love how the characters continue from one book to the next. Interesting and unusual situations and romances. Well worth the time to read.
I enjoyed reading this well written book series. The characers were well developed & likable, and the story lines were enjoyable. I enjoyed the stories so much I downloaded, and read the author provided Extended Epilogues for each of the books. I especially like the author choosing not to use swear words, and the sweet clean romance. I recommend this book series, and will be watching for more from this author.
Last Chance For The Charming Ladies, clean historical romances
A Forthright Courtship: Maria arrives from the Caribbean, needing to find a husband before the Season’s end and her the passing of her ailing father. London’s society proves daunting and cruel to a lively girl who did not grow up under its rules. A bitter duke, Edward, and his sister, Georgiana, may be enough to protect and guide her or he may be the one to endanger her heart most of all. – Maria is unique and an interesting. Edward does not like society. He enjoys the company of Maria and Georgiana and is protective of hem. I friendship between Georgiana and Maria was sweet. This book was too slow. The author kept repeating Maria’s past, Edward’s feelings about the ton, etc. I am hoping the other books are better. You can get an extended epilogue by signing up to get emails from the author. It was lengthy and pretty much like the book.
A Love Worth Saving: Georgiana mourns a love lost but never forgotten. On the verge of spinsterhood, she needs to decide her future fast. When fate makes it so her path crosses that of her former suitor, Robert. Will she be brave enough to seize the second chance? – This book was slow and disappointing. The author repeats herself too much. I liked the “epilogue.” You can get an extended epilogue by signing up to get emails from the author, but it was disappointing..
Love Letters To A Lady: Georgiana’s best friend, Julia, does not think about marriage at all until her parents demand her to do so. A secret admirer sends her unsigned letters that make her heart shiver. The secret admirer is her long-time friend. Will he finally win her heart before another one does? Will he find the courage to reveal the truth before it is too late? – Julia is a fun character. Her social attendance was entertaining. I enjoyed the love letters and her friendship with the sender. This book is slow like the others, and there are too many repeats. It is like the author looks at every angle or beats an issue to death. You can get a short extended epilogue by signing up to get emails from the author.
Enjoy it very much
How can you not love a story about strong women who are up hints a repressive culture. Makes one appreciate what women have today but never give up trying to improve
Read first story and had a hard time getting through. Very wordy. I tend to like more dialogue. I started story two but may not finish.
These were predictable but quire readable. Great for when you’re not feeling well and cannot concentrate !
Be sure to order this box set for yourself as a New Year’s gift from Fanny. The three stories are about lovely Regency ladies and the events life puts them through. I Highly Recommend all three of these darling romances.
A FORTHRIGHT COURTSHIP
ALWAYS THE LAST TO KNOW…
Maria Worthing lives on a plantation in the Caribbean. Her father is dying so they return to England to find her a husband and settle business affairs. Edward, Duke Reginald, resides in London with his sister, Georgiana. His father’s old friend asks him to sponsor his daughter as she searches for a husband. How will the members of the Ton treat a young girl who grew up on an island without a mother? I Highly Recommend this charming tale of two souls searching for the same thing–LOVE.
A LOVE WORTH SAVING
LOST LOVE REFOUND…
Georgiana Reginald is a spinster. Her brother is getting married and doesn’t need her to run his household. What will she do with rest of her life and who is Robert Trentwood? After years of heartbreak, interference from relatives and misunderstandings, can love find Georgiana again? I highly recommend this darling novel of lost love refound.
LOVE LETTERS TO A LADY
AN UNSIGNED LOVE LETTER…
Julia Weston’s parents want her to marry. They will curtail her freedom if she doesn’t get serious about it. But she doesn’t want to get married. James Norwich is in love with Miss Julia Weston. But she thinks of him as a brother.
What happens when he writes her a love letter, but forgets to sign it? I Highly Recommend this darling tale of two people unsure how to find their way to love.
This set is 3 great regency books in one! The first is, A forthright Courtship!
Maria who was born and raised in the Caribbean. With her fathers health declining they travel to England for her to find a husband. In this book love is found despite social status.
In the second book., A love worth Saving, Georgina is forced to deny herself the love of her life because of her harsh fathers disapproval! When she gets an unexpected second chance can she make it work?! This was also well written and has realistic characters from that period.
The third book is Letters to a Lady. Julia who is Georgina’s friend father has suddenly decided she must marry! Her father tutors sons of titled men. When Julia gets a love letter beautifully written but no signature she must discover who it is from. As they exchange letters she falls in love with him. But will she accept him when she finds out who he is.
I read all three of these books independently but they are good as stand alone books but even better when written together! If you love regency romance and rule breakers you will love these books! I thoroughly enjoyed each one. I highly recommend this book and this series!

Fantastic job Fanny, thanks for sharing this little collection with us.
Three beautiful stories about strong women with different past but strong and charming.
Different aspect of the ton and the struggle to live within… but the hearts is more strong than all…
A love so strong will wait for them if the hearts and minds are open…
A bookset for all that love sweet romance
Fanny Finch is a “go to” for me whenever I need to satisfy my cravings for top quality Regency Period romance. Her stories are always well-written, Regency-appropriate and genuine while still being wonderfully romantic. That’s certainly the case with her latest, Last Chance for the Charming Ladies. This is the epitome of what “Clean & Sweet” Regency romances should be. A collection of three stories all perfectly plotted, with heroines, be it Maria, Georgiana or Julia, that readers cannot help but grow attached too, strong heroes to romance them and superbly written plots filled with wonderful supporting characters to bring about those romances. Really just a series of absolute delights. But for the fact that I’m literally dictating this review to my husband from my hospital bed I could go on and on with praises. This collection definitely deserves it. Since I can’t do that I will simply note that the three stories here most definitely form a “must read” collection, and it is easy to highly recommend them.
Allow at least a long weekend for this family-friendly collection of Regency romances pulling from both hemispheres.
