Pleasure to read Solange story, her life was a mystery. Author does a great job opening that pandora’s box, what a surprising twist that is to not only Solange but also the lives of the infamous McGovern clan. Author also does a great job finalizing this mystery while smoothly teasing what’s to come. Great couple, new love is an added bonus to this grand tour. I was provided a free copy without obligation and am voluntarily reviewing.
Paris Spring, 1890
“The Moulin Rouge was a swirl of sound and color, light and laughter. The music was loud, alcohol flowed freely and barely-controlled chaos reigned. It was the perfect environment for Solange Lafarge to commit a murder.”
Oh yes, if you have read the other books in this series, you know that she is the companion to Lady Roselyn, one of the McGovern clan who had undertaken a vacation together. Now Solange had finally found her target she had been searching for..Lord Louis Sinclair.
Fate definitely brought them together because he himself was looking to avenge is mother and get back a family heirloom and his goal was at hand.
Oh yes, these two meet and are distrustful but something happens. A spark? A common goal Secrets? All of the above and throw in a dastardly villain and and a whirlwind journey to a happy ever after, if they can only find it! Cannot wait for more!

An exciting story of blackmail and revenge. As everyone puts their heads together to thwart LaFarge, Solange and Louis work together and almost get themselves killed. Just when it seems LaFarge will ruin everyone the unexpected happens and whatn surpriae it will be. There is of course lots of passion between Solange and Louis and maybe love. I received a complimentary copy and I am voluntarily reviewing.

My review :
When a woman seeking revenge finds love …
I have very mixed feelings about this third installment, I loved the heroine was no pristine flower nor a classic English beauty, her mixed blood gives Solange her very unique beauty.
It is a novella, so it must go fast but not to the disadvantage of the plot.
And what I dislike most in a story is TSTL characters, and at a time Solange and Louis are complete nitwits, they go separately to the villain’s lair and just tell him he must stop to be a bad guy just because !!!!
They finally save the day but without many, too many mistakes if they would been able to think straight.
So while it began as a cute steamy story, it turned a mix of incredibly lacking of brain people reunion.
But I must praise the author for her ugly villainous villain, he is really one to love to hate.
3.5 rounded to 4 for this steamy novella.
The cover is stunning.
I was granted an advance copy by the author, here is my true and unbiased opinion.

My favorite Tales from the Grand Tour series. We have seen Solange in the other books but what is she up to? We have also seen Louis and why was he sneaking around? Well, it all comes to a head in this story of intrigue and secrets. I also thought the relationship between Solange and Louis was beautiful. A lovely ending to the Grand Tour series. But we have more of the McGoverns coming – what is Asher’s secret?
I received a complimentary copy from the author.
For the past three years Solange Lefarge has sought revenge on the man responsible for her family’s destruction. This goal has brought her to Paris as companion to Lady Roselyn Briarwood, a member of the rather notorious McGovern family. None of the family know who Solange truly is or what her real goal is and she intends to keep it that way. The last thing she needs is to find herself falling in love with the very man she’s sworn to kill.
Lord Louis Sinclair, the Earl of Bramwell, has also been after revenge, seeking to avenge his mother’s death, and after years of trying, he’s finally close to his goal. The last thing he needs now is a distraction in the form of a mysterious woman, especially one whom his friends have warned him is dangerous. But spending time with Solange challenges Louis’ views and causes Solange to reevaluate everything she thought she knew. In fact, the two soon realize they have much in common and each finds a partner in the other. But as they struggle to keep the McGovern family from ruin, the unraveling of secrets could serve to push Louis and Solange apart rather than bring them together.
This was a fun, quick read to finish off the first trilogy of a new saga. I found all the characters to be very charming and Louis and Solange were explosive together. The pace was rapid and held my attention and the villain was just despicable. I thoroughly enjoyed this one and can’t wait for the rest of the McGoverns’ stories.
I voluntarily read and reviewed an advanced copy of this book. All thoughts and opinions are my own.
