A thrilling, dark, happy ending for Rose & Thorn
Harlow’s final journey to becoming Thorn’s Rose is beautiful. Dark, sadistic, sexy, poignant, loving, suspenseful…it’s all in there. And teases us with the next person’s journey from The Mansion.
While I liked the characters, this was just a little too twisted for me. I just can’t wrap my head around how love can be so cruel.
But it was a good story and I enjoyed all of the books
This is it. The last chapter. The last book from a series that blew me away in every aspect. Each book was written to make us feel things and see things in a different way. It might shocked you but it’s so worth the reading.
Fawn Bailey is the queen of Dark books. This series was out of this world and each chapter lead us to a path of pain versus pleasure.
Last Broken Rose is her latest release and it’s the final book from the series. But before I tell you a little bit more about this book I need to tell you something. This series is not a standalone therefor you should read all 3 books first.
This book continues to tell Rose and Thorn’s story… And what a story this was.
I can’t say more about this book because anything I say it will be a spoiler and that’s a no go for me.
The plot is superb, super engaging and intense, super dark with a touch of sexuality and desire.
The interation between the characters is raw and intense, and sometimes I wanted to get j to the book and hurt them… Just saying.
This book presented us with love versus punishment, desire versus pain and so much more.
There were parts of the story that I thought that I couldn’t maintain calm and collected but it all came crashing down in a sec.
Jeez I’m overwhelmed, shaken, afraid but it was so worth it…
Oh Fawn you nailed it with this series. It was a deal path to cross but Dayum it was hot at the same time. I can’t wait for more books from you.
I voluntarily reviewed an Advance Reader Copy of this book.
This is the final book in the trilogy, and they must be read in order. Book 2, Pure White Rose, left Harlow with a terrible decision to make. Thorn & Rose get closer in their love; his demands of Rose are great but she is only too willing to submit. I love Fawn Bailey’s descriptive writing because it drags out the feels in me, including those I don’t wanna have! Rose’s character has come into her own and is solidified in this book. Thorn changes with Rose’s devotion to him, and they are equally obsessed with each other. There is danger & death lurking around the corner, and secrets and surprises come to light. If you’re a lover of dark romance, I hope you love this trilogy as much as I did.
I received an arc of this book and have voluntarily reviewed it.
A fantastic ending to a dark twisted story. Harlow (Rose) and Thorns story is full of drama, suspense, mystery, obsession, secrets and love. Loved this series and everything Rose and Thorn had to go through to get their HEA was crazy twisted. I highly recommend this book and this series to everyone. I look forward to reading more books by this author.
This is the final book in the Rose and Thorn series and boy what a ride it was. Dark, intense, twisted, brutal, passionate and stunning! A fierce and fantastic romance that is epic, powerful, and not for the faint of heart. I adored Rose and Thorn’s romance and am sorry to say goodbye to them, but this is one of those stories that lives in your heart and lingers in your mind.
I had to take a couple of days to process this one. I’m not sure why, exactly, but there was just something about it that pulled at my mind and twisted my feelings and meant that I had to needed to let it settle under my skin and let it breathe before I could even handle it. Fawn Bailey wrote a series that is so beautiful and so wrong that it’s right.
Rose and Thorn are ready for their final choice. Thorn has asked her his big question and she has given him her answer. They are sure that they are going to be together forever, but there are outside events which conspire against them. Both Pia and Carina are unhappy with the current state of affairs, but for different reasons. Pia, at least, has valid reasons. Carina is just cuckoo for cocoa puffs.
I felt just about every emotion there was to feel when I was reading this. There may or may not have been a tear or two. Thorn was so wrong to do things the way that he did, but is he right too because of the results that he got? I don’t know. It’s a conundrum and one that I’m pretty sure that I will think about every time I read this book. I’ll be reading it a lot because I really enjoyed the series.
