What a sweet, romantic, Christian story of falling in love. Wyatt Danner, a professional bull rider and Crissy Spencer seemed perfect for each other except she was only staying at her cousin’s ranch for two weeks so she could write a story about Wyatt and take care of Pam’s animals while Pam’s husband, Fred was receiving treatment for his leukemia. If she does not write the article on Wyatt she will lose her job.
I thought it was great how Wyatt and Crissy first met and how sparks were starting to fly. The only problem was that Crissy did not tell Wyatt she was writing an article about him. This created all sorts of problems.
This is one of my favorite Rose Verde books because she really knows how to weave a story that touches you while creating wonderful characters you grow to love. I thought the epilogue was the perfect ending for Wyatt and Crissy. I enjoyed the Bible quotes presented in the story as they really made me think about the words and their meaning. I received an advance copy of this book and I willingly chose to write an honest review.
Chrissy and Wyatt both have trust issues. Their relationship starts out with a secret. What will happen when it comes out? A really sweet and clean romance with real life issues.
Rose Verde writes Christian fiction and she writes it well. In Lassoed by Love, she brings two unlikely characters together: a Bull Rider and a Journalist. One loves the media and the other hates the media’s intrusion into his life. Brought together by tragedy, they become friends and more… Lassoed by Love is well written and an enjoyable book to read. It’s not a long book and can be read in an afternoon. It’s clean- no explicit anything and has a great ending. I think that anyone who likes reading clean, contemporary. Romances would enjoy Lassoed By Love.

Clean Christian Contemporary Cowboy Romance
This is a clean, Christian contemporary romance set on a Colorado ranch. The plot is sweet and fun. The characters are very realistic and believable. This is novelette length and as such does not have room to fully develop the characters. Beyond that, it is an enjoyable story that warms the heart. I received this ARC book for free and this is my honest review.
Lassoed by Love is another clean, sweet, Christian romance by Rose Verde. I love her books. This one has a real “meet cute” for Crissy, a journalist, and Wyatt, a bull rider who hates the media. Rose’s books are never preachy, she just has characters who listen to the Lord. This is a well paced story, with some humorous moments. Can two damaged people get over their misconceptions and miscommunication? I thought the ending was perfect.
Lassoed by Love is a sweet contemporary Western romance. Wyatt and Chrissy make a great couple. I love the way they met! The story touches on some serious issues, but is a positive, uplifting book. The pace is perfect for this genre. The dialogue flows naturally. I enjoyed reading the book and would recommend it to sweet romance readers and Western romance readers. I hope to read more of Rose Verde’s work. I received an ARC. I chose to write a review and share my opinion.
Lassoed by love is a sweet cowboy romance between two people with broken hearts. Each has difficulty with trust, and misunderstandings abound.
Can Wyatt overcome his bull riding injuries, and worse, his betrayal by his ex who dragged his story through the press? Can he trust a journalist with his heart?
Can Crissy overcome her self doubts? Feeling unlovable, and cheated on by her ex, can she see herself the way Wyatt does?
This was a quick read full of faith and family. I enjoyed it.
I received an ARC courtesy of the author. This is my honest review.
This is the first story I’ve read about a rodeo bronc rider who finds love. Not much about the bronc riding, however. It’s a nice, sweet romance. There is the growing love relationship between Wyatt & Crissy. There’s the mean boss that makes Crissy afraid to share with Wyatt the true reason what she is doing at her cousin’s ranch. There is the HEA. I received an ARC. This is my voluntary review.
