Dom Gianni takes a lot of punishment in the hockey rink, but when he sees Molly McCarran getting beaten up by her husband, he’s ready to throw down his gloves and fight for her. But Molly isn’t about to trust another man—and Dom is already skating on thin ice with his NHL-mandated probation. Besides, how could a hotshot player like Dom really care about a woman so much older than he? Then a … kidnapping raises the stakes. If Molly can’t believe in Dom, and if he can’t dig deep to save her, it might be the final buzzer for them both.

This is a really great story as a whole, but even greater when you realize all the issues that it addresses. Grief, anger, domestic abuse, trust, second chances, age gap! I liked the comradery of the Las Vegas Sidewinders team as they slowly came together. This book looks to be an awesome start to a fantastic new series!
Great read! Had a hard time putting it down to cook dinner. Can’t wait to read the next book in this series.
Dominic is a professional hockey player for the Las Vegas Sidewinders. On his fiirst day in Las Vegas, he sees Molly McCarran getting beaten up by her husband. He’s ready to fight for her. But Molly finds it difficult to trust another man. I really enjoyed this book so much that I have already ordered the other books in the series.
Dominic is one of those stories that you lose yourself in. You can’t help but to fall in love with Dom as Molly’s protector. Definitely swoon worthy! Overall AWESOME read! Can’t wait to read Cody’s Christmas Surprise!
Good story line but I had some hard times with the head hopping. One minute we were in Molly’s head and the next in Dom’s. It breaks me out of the story as I struggled to figure out who I’m reading about.
This is a well-written, steamy hockey romance. It has a hot, younger hero, a strong female protagonist, a likable cast of supporting characters, plenty of drama and a happily ever after ending.
The plan was to read just this book. I will be meeting the author soon and wanted to be prepared. What I wasn’t prepared for was how much I loved the book. There is no way I will stop at just one book.
I got sucked in by the characters. The hockey players were yummy, but they had issues that I really enjoyed following–some were so tragic that I had my heart ripped out. In the end, the bunch of misfits stood together to protect their own.
There were so many side stories wrapped in the little book called Dominic. I never got bored. I always had something exciting to read. Never once did I skim the pages looking for the good part. All of it was the good part.
The love story that was weaved within the book was fantastic. You could see the possibilities when Dominic and Cody rescued her from her abusive husband. Today was not her day to die. With Dominic by her side it is her day to live and love. The journey to their HEA is filled with so many terrible situations. They don’t have to conquer one thing, but so many issues that I had to wonder if the evil in their world would ever disappear.
Now if you will excuse me, Drake is waiting for my attention.
I jumped right into Dominic’s story in the Sidewinders Series. I loved how much we got to see the other upcoming characters in the next books. I could not put this book down!
Dom’s instant protector was unleashed when he happens upon Molly. Molly is being abused and almost killed by her husband on the night they cross paths. She has lived this life for 20 years…. and to see this beautiful woman give up makes Dom run to protect her. His best friend Cody is with him and they both help get her to safety.
Molly doesn’t know who to trust, but she finds friendships and love with this group of Hockey players and their wives.
As Dom and Molly both heal together, they she great strength to get to their happiness.
Toli has to be the funniest most charming character in this book.
I cannot wait to get to the next book in this series!
It has been a while since I wanted to finish a book as soon as I started reading it, I just could not put the book down. Kat Mizera sucked me right into this story, I was literally saying to myself just one more chapter until I reached the end.
Great book with lots of everything you like in a romance. I’ve made it through (in 3 days!) book 3 in the series, and I look forward to reading the rest.
