I cocked my head to the side. This was the first time I’d heard this. “Keep going.”“And if you think you can just because you’re a big bad car guy and I’m a meek little baker, you have another thing coming. I’m not going to sit by and let you bulldoze me. I’m not a pushover.”I smiled. She was really laying into me. I was going to take her out if it was the last thing I did. Her eyes were bright, … eyes were bright, and her words tumbled out of her in a rush. I didn’t have the heart to stop her while she was on such a roll, and I didn’t want to. She was hot as hell when she was angry.
Publisher’s Note: This is a steamy and sexy bad boy bachelor romance with a HEA and can be read alone.

Although this is book 3 in a series it is easily read as a standalone. The characters are fun and have great dialogue with each other. This is a great way to spend a couple of hours reading as the book is so entertaining.

The good girl baker and the bad boy
Lars is the third book in the Miles Brothers Romance series by Nikki Riker. The author has once again written a wonderful story-line and interesting characters with Lars and June. They own businesses that are next to each other in Seattle after Lars inherits his father’s high end auto boy shop and June owns a bakery. Lars is not really happy to be back in Seattle after having a very carefree and fun lifestyle in Southern California. Lars is an interesting character in that he takes the whole “live life to the fullest” mantra to the extreme and is the biggest and baddest Miles brother. He also does not believe in love or long term relationships.
June is a feisty young woman who is not afraid to go toe to toe with Lars, even when her knees go weak. She first meets Lars when she confronts the new “manager” of the body shop about the parking situation for her customers. It seems the shop has been parking their customers cars in the parking spaces that are for her bakery customers.
One look at June and Lars is in insta-lust. He has to work to get her to go out with him but once they take that first step will it be a quick trip to a full blown relationship for them both? Will his aversion to a relationship chase her away or will he realize that she is what he actually wants and needs?
This is a great shorter story with a number of curves in the relationship for the characters. I enjoyed reading Lars and would recommend it to everyone.
I received a free ARC of this book in exchange for my honest review. My opinions are all my own.
Loved the book it was great, the story was well written and the characters were interesting. June owns the bakery next door. Lars inherited his father’s car repair shop. June went over to Lars to talk to him about the parking, they got along so good they start to see each other. The chemistry is hot and steamy.

Lars’ characters is a free spirit not sure if he wants what his father had laid out for him. June is a owner of a bakery that is hiding her true self. Together they find who the can really be.

This is the 3rd book in the ‘Miles Brothers’ series and it doesn’t let you down.
This one is about Lars (he inherited a repair shop when his father died) and June (she runs the bakery next door, and the empty lot is being used by the guys to park the customers cars) June has had enough and marches over to demand that they stop. The chemistry is terrific, and the story line is also gook. Will they eventually work out their problems?? Will they get their HEA??? This is really a good book. I wholly recommend it.

This is book three in the Miles Brothers Romance series. This series now men who were adopted by a man and his wife that became a family, hence the Miles brothers, but now they are both passed and the man purposely started a business specifically for each of the brothers to run. Lars has always felt like the misfit of the group and the troublemaker. To be honest, he didn’t expect anything to come from the ready of the will, let alone an apartment in Seattle with a high end car shop. He was surprised but deep down he was grateful and took it on with the intention to make it succeed. What he didn’t expect was the sexy and surprisingly feisty baker next door. June sees Lars come into her bakery for a coffee and a pantry but never really thinks much more of him then a customer. At least that is what she tells herself. Until the day comes where she is tired of the high end car body shop next door parking their cars in her customer’s spots. She marches on over and sets off a chain of events. It starts with an apology dinner. Can these two move past their pasts and find a HEA in their future? Another great story and an opportunity to meet and get to know another Miles brother. I cannot wait to continue on in the series and meet the rest.

This is book three in the Miles Brothers Series. Lars was living it up in Southern California when his dad dies and left him body shop. It’s a high-end body shop for luxury cars so now Lars is back home in Seattle to take over the business. He’s not super thrilled to leave the waves, sand and sun in So Cal for the less sunny landscape of Seattle.
Lars is the biggest and wildest of the Miles brothers. He has quite a few tattoos and believes life’s way to short to play by the rules. He’s been lusting over the pretty little baker that owns park of the building his shop is in. Apparently, his dad sold a portion of it to her when the shop was having a cash flow problem. Lars and June start dating but both of them have never had a long-term relationship. June’s a little gun shy about love. This is a short story but an enjoyable read. I finished it in a couple of hours.

Nikki Riker has written a book about a couple where one did not believe in love and the other one did. Lars has inherited a body and repair shop from his father. June owns the bakery that is next door to the shop and she is upset because they are always parking cars in her parking slots for her bakery. June goes over to the repair shop to talk to the manager, not knowing that it was Lars, she tells him if it doesn’t stop she will get her lawyer involved, he tells her he will take care of it. He goes over the next day and asks her out, she says yes and they fell the connection and start a relationship. things are going good until a customer asks who she was and Lars said that she was just the baker. She gets upset and walks away. Lars goes over to the bakery to explain why he said what he did, but she tells him to get out of her shop.
Can Lars get June to listen to him?
Will June give Lars a chance to explain his comment or will she walk away from the relationship for good?
This book was a wonderful read and is about all the ups and downs that a new relationship can have and how the characters deal with them. I would recommend this book to anyone.

Such a beautiful story! Lars and June have similar pasts and she owns the bakery shop next to his auto body shop. After she read him the riot act about his cars being parked in her lot their relationship blossomed from there. A few twists and misunderstandings later and they are happily in love with one another and heading to a HEA.

Lara inherited a luxury car repair shop when his father died. The shop hadn’t been doing too well, his father sold the empty lot next door to the bakery. The guys at the car repair shop, kept using the lot to park the customer cars, June the owner of the bakery had had enough.
June marched over to the car repair shop to give the new manager a piece of her mind. Lars apologised and asked June out on a date. June didn’t believe in love and Lars didn’t do relationships. They both realised that they were really into each other and the night ended with something else cooking in the back of the bakery. They eventually worked out that they both had feelings for each other and had their happily ever after.

3.5 stars
I didn’t love the plot as much as I wanted too but I did enjoy the sexy times. Maybe the plot moved to slow for me or the subject matter didn’t interest me. I’m not sure.

You can never judge a book it’s cover as in the case of Lars and June. These two unlikely characters had more in common than they thought and when they connected it was a story well worth reading. Their banter and antics will draw you in but their story will touch your heart.
