Once upon a time, I fell in love with a boy.A beautiful, broken boy who had his own world of struggles. People warned me against our love, but I didn’t listen. We looked weak. Young, foolish. Dangerously in love. We didn’t care.In order to keep our hearts protected from the opinions of others, we became each other’s secret. We shared stolen moments. Tender touches. Secretive embraces. It was our … Tender touches. Secretive embraces.
It was our twisted love story, and it worked for us up until our lives changed forever.
The boy I loved became Hollywood’s newest golden boy.
His career blossomed as mine stalled.
He found massive success as I discovered multiple failures.
He made something of himself, while my dreams never came true.
We moved into different realms where our pieces no longer fit together.
In the fairy tales, love conquered all.
In reality, love was the main reason empires began to fall.
I always knew Landon belonged in my story.
He was my beginning, middle, and end.
The only problem? I wasn’t certain I still belonged in his.
Book Two of the Landon & Shay Duet.
more
Oh, my heart! Landon & Shay are the epitome of perseverance! I was so inspired by the struggles Landon faced and ultimately overcame; the demons he bravely battled. Shay was his literal rock and although they separated to truly work on themselves, they came together in the end in the most beautiful way! The love and endless support these two showed each other was so damn inspirational! I felt it all; the love, the pain and the reconnection! Oh Brittainy, you are an exquisite writer, I simply can’t get enough!
No words. No fucking words to describe the spectrum of emotions that I’ve felt from reading this duet. To say that I have enjoyed it is an understatement. All the feels, man!
This book put me through roller coaster of angst, emotions, passion and pain, it’s a wonder that I’m still here writing this review. If reading angsty, enemies-to-lovers romance with a healthy dose of second chance is your jam, you’ve come to the right book. A must read from fans of this author!
Where do I begin? Brittany C. Cherry is no ordinary author, so why was I expecting this story to be softer? I can say with Landon & Shay – Part Two she definitely did not leave me any closer to sitting still. With Book One I remember saying that readers needed to allow time for that story. It is a story that will not be rushed as it grows and draws you in.
With Part Two that same feeling is experienced. What I was not expecting was how Brittany C. Cherry pulled me in every imaginable emotional direction. One minute I was laughing, the next shaking my head, the next so deep in emotions as to feel totally lost. Seeing how family can pull you in one direction or another, only added to the suspense.
All of this over a story of two people that are so deserving of each other, but so far apart. Watching them grow personally and together was a total work of art. This might be a book with words but the visuals created with those words feel real.
Powerful characters make for powerful stories, especially when written by this lady. This is a continuing testament to Brittany’s power with words, and her ability to create pictures in a reader’s mind with those words. And then she leaves us hanging on a cliff baited for the next installment. Well done lady, and there are not enough stars to bestow on this story.
What an amazing ending to this duet! I’m giving it 5 out of 5 stars. This review is for an ARC, and reflects my honest opinion.
This book should only be read if you can handle things like depression, thoughts of suicide, some substance abuse, etc. This author has a way of tearing your heart out, but then mending the pieces back together again. I’ve cried during each of the 3 books I’ve read by her so far, and I’m sure I’ll cry while reading others in the future too.
Once again, I loved both Shay and Landon. I don’t want to spoil anything, but I’ll say there were moments where I was ready to write Landon off. There were times when he was less than ideal in my mind, and not because of his depression really. However, it was kind of hard to judge him with everything he dealt with internally, and externally. I enjoyed seeing some of my old favorite characters like Eleanor, Grey, and Mima again. Shay was more closed off, and jaded, in this book, but her passion for love stories still burned bright. Also I loved how both her and Landon had a special bond with Karla, each helping the teen in their own way.
I thought the second book in the duet wrapped everything up nicely, and the ending was all I could have hoped for. While I wished things played out differently earlier in the book, I still enjoyed all the angst. I highly recommend you check out this duet, and Eleanor & Grey, ASAP if you haven’t already. They’re some of my absolute favorite books!
“How’s your heart?”…”Still beating…”
Ms. Cherry, your words move me. Enough said and yet I want to praise this story so much more.
Ms. Cherry continues to shine a light in the darkness. This story will make the reader see more and understand a disease that has been hidden, judged and misunderstood for too long.
This is the final part of the epic story of Landon and Shay.
You feel the devastation and heartbreak that comes from separation. You understand the meaning of “go slow”. You see that all that glitters is not gold and even the happiest of faces can hide an enormous amount of pain and anguish.
This story truly needed two parts, to force this amazing story into one book would have done a huge injustice to the characters and the storyline.
Both Landon and Shay go through so much in the time they are apart and you can appreciate the way that that time had molded both of them into different people but at the heart of them beat a love so true and so magical that even time and space really couldn’t separate them.
This story touched me on a personal level, it brought a feeling of peace, understanding and a feeling that I am not quite alone and for that, I say thank you Ms. Cherry for creating this wonderful world and beautiful characters to life. Thank you for being brave.
Turmoil has plagued Landon’s life in numerous ways. Now that Landon and his mother have moved to California, life has taken a dramatic turn. With a career as an actor taking off, Landon finds his life spiraling in a different direction. Sudden fame would make most people happy, but Landon is struggling with his mental health. To add more weight on his shoulders, Landon longs for the connection that he had with Shay.
With the Hollywood lifestyle beckoning to Landon’s tortured soul, the connection that once was had with Shay slowly begins to crumble. The two find themselves apart more than ever. As Landon clings on to the shimmer of light that Shay brings to his life, their lives take a tumble that neither could have seen coming. Years pass and both Shay and Landon seem to have moved on with their lives. As their paths crossed once more the spark that existed between the two so long ago flickers to life once more. Will history repeat itself, leading the duo to crash and burn before the spark can ignite?
Landon and Shay – Part 2 is the conclusion to the dramatic duet by author Brittainy Cherry. With a compelling journey that unfolded within the covers of the first book, the anticipation revolving around where the future would lead was at an extremely high level. Landon’s path in life has led him to a place where his future is full of opportunity. The past drama in his life sits like a cloud upon his soul. The fractures in his heart where Landon’s father is concerned is very relatable.
Where does the future lead Shay? Well…..I certainly can’t tell you all of that. The plot of this story revolves around the connection between Landon and Shay and the direction their lives head towards. While it was definitely full of emotion, I found myself wanting ‘more’ when the two reconnect. Why? Well – there is literally a book and a half devoted to the couple up until their college years. So – the lack of time spent in the future seems rushed and not as detailed for me. Does that make me love the story any less? No….because I love the intensity and emotions that swirl within a story penned by Brittainy Cherry. Dive into the duet and walk in the wake of finding the love that speaks to your soul.
Landon & Shay part 2 is the conclusion of the duet L&S by Brittainy C Cherry.
“We were messy and broken, and complex, and beautiful”
Landon and Shay part 2 stars Shay and Landon being together and in love. Landon left with his mother to heal and to learn how to deal with his depression and Shay is preparing to go to the college. Even when they were apart they were happy and they found ways to communicate and to support each other.
After a major event in the life of Landon, he loses himself and give up his therapy and shut down his feelings and he didn’t talk with Shay. Shay felt that she loses herself in Landon and she had to make the decisions to love herself more and to fight for a better life. I’m proud of Shay because she chose herself.
For a while, Landon abandoned the therapy and he didn’t fight to heal and didn’t want to confront his feelings but, after he loses Shay, he found again the strength to fight to be better. I’m also proud of him because he didn’t give up on himself.
After a few years, Shay and Landon are reunited. The reunion between them was painful for both of them because they still love each other. Shay wasn’t ready to let Landon again in her life, so Landon proved her that he changed and she can trust him. I love Landon because he was patient and loving with Shay and he proved that he deserves a second chance.
Love is feeling healed whenever you’re near your person.
I was sad that Landon and Shay wasted so many years but I’m happy that they found their happily ever after. Landon and Shay part 2 was an amazing book. I recommend everyone to read this beautiful duet.
After the ending of Landon & Shay: Part One I have been counting the days until I could read Part Two. Book One was absolute perfection and I couldn’t imagine how book two could top it, but it absolutely did, and more. I devoured it.
Landon & Shay’s story is unlike any romance story I have ever read. The love I have for these characters I felt deep in my heart and soul. Their love story is raw, beautiful, painful, emotional and full of angst.
LANDON
“You are the first woman—the only woman—who’d ever awakened every sleeping part of me. You were a defining moment of my life.”
What an incredible human being! Between books one and two we see tremendous growth in Landon. The journey he has been on to overcome his pain and suffering is incredibly inspiring. To any readers out there suffering mental illness I truly hope you pick this book up and experience the beauty of Landon Harrison and the demons he has had to overcome to get his HEA.
SHAY
“You are smart. You are talented. You are handsome. You are good, Landon Harrison. You are so good that it makes me ache that anyone in this world might think differently.”
Shay has a HUGE heart! She never once waivers in her belief in Landon, even when he was at his lowest. I loved this about her! but my heart was in pieces seeing her battle with all the heartbreak she has experienced by the men in her life, Landon, her father and grandfather. As we are brought into the present you can see the impact the pain has had on her and Landon definitely has his work cut out for him to break down her walls.
The side characters in part two were even better than the first book. I absolutely adored Landon and his relationship with Greyson’s oldest daughter Karla. What a beautiful relationship, and the connection they shared really got me in the feels. If only every teenage girl had a Landon they could lean on.
I also LOVED Shay’s Grandma whom she called Mima. The wisdom, advice and support she provides to those she loves is so special. Everybody needs a Mima in their life! I especially adored the relationship she had with Landon.
“Be brave. Be Strong. Be Kind. And stay.”
Brittainy C. Cherry’s writing is magical. Her words and characters and unique and truly unforgettable.
“How’s your heart?”…”Still beating…”
This line in the book, got me EVERY.SINGLE.TIME!!
Thank you Social Butterfly PR and Brittainy C. Cherry for providing me with an advanced reader copy in exchange of an honest review. LOVED IT!! 5++ stars!
These two books broke me. They broke me and put me back together with all the magic BCC has to offer.
I think they are my favorite by her now and I also think they are the best books she has ever written.
I love, love LOVE Landon. I wanted to hold him, I wanted to help him heal and I wanted to help him getting Shay back.
Shay is still as amazing as she was in the first book even tho I feel like she was a little bitter-ish because life definitely gave her a lot of lemons to deal with. I still like her and I absolutely adored her when she put Sarah into place.
These two books will forever have a special place in my heart. I can not recommend them enough.
Do yourself a massive and buy them now!
How’s your heart?
I hope it’s okay. Mine? It’s fine. Well, now it is. While I was reading this book? It was in a million pieces. But then it was slowly put back together.
I found the first book to be quite emotional and I was prepared for the same in this one, but the author took it up a few notches. Wow. I mean I was happy one minute. Sad the next. I cried a little. Then I got angry. Then I was sad again. Maybe a little frustrated. Then I cried again. (Maybe not exactly in that order.) I was all over the place. And that’s okay. I want the books I read to take me on a journey. And what a journey it was!
If you have read this first book, this one is a MUST read. Just like the first book, I felt like the author dealt with certain situations in a very realistic manner. We get to see Landon and Shay grow up and not only deal with their current lives, but also the demons of the past. To a certain extent, I felt as though anyone I know could have gone through what the characters went through.
This was a book that I only put down because I needed to go to sleep. I’ve read a lot of the author’s books and I feel as though they stories just keep getting better and better. I can’t wait to see what she comes up with next.
This book was so much more than I ever thought it could be!
I loved part one but freaking LOVE LOVE LOVED part 2.
While reading this book my heart was breaking at times, my stomach was fluttering – I was feeling all that these beautifully broken characters were feeling and that is a testament to Brittainy Cherry’s extraordinary writing and storytelling abilities.
As I watched Landon & Shay navigate their lives my heart was hurting, I was devasted and elated at times, I was almost unable to continue reading at times because my heart and mind just couldn’t handle it. But every step they took was an unavoidable route. It made them who they were and helped them become the people they needed to be.
Seeing these two navigate their lives was a beautiful journey that will land itself on my top reads of 2019!
Thank you Brittainy Cherry for once again for offering your heart and soul and beautiful words.
”You are the first woman—the only woman—who’d ever awakened every sleeping part of me. You were a defining moment of my life.”
The drama! It is almost enough to squeeze your heart to death, but it also resurrects it with the power of a classic story of impossible love.
Landon and Shay go through the most excruciating and moving love story ever. This second part is pure emotion, raw and raging, beautiful and sweet. At first, they are having a long-distance relationship that is full of tenderness and longing and promises. Then, tragedy strikes and the slow descent into heartbreak and despair breaks them apart like an axe. That was so harsh and terrible for my sensibilities.
Once more, this author with her poetic and real-life brilliance puts her characters in the most harrowing situations, and separates them for what feels like eons. Not a fan of that, I’m afraid. However, she masters the technique so that the reacquaintance stirs up the storm of feelings again and consumes the characters as much as the reader.
I loved Shay’s support in her man’s lowest moments, her resilience and her will to be respectful of her own value. I didn’t particularly like Landon as he drifted to another life, but I did relate to and understand his suffering. It is interesting to get to know the mature characters with their perspective in life so much changed.
I could understand Shay’s reluctance and I was also putting so much hope in Landon’s renewed self-confidence. It is a hard path for them both, but the revelations are worth the thorns.A tale of becoming your better self, restoring broken trust, and winning back betrayed love.
The final stages of this tormented lover’s story is a testament to regaining love with patience and care, only to live a tumultuous test before the grace they deserve. It’s a rollercoaster for the heart against time, fame and pain, and a good example of this author’s sensitive portrait of flawed people fighting for their happily ever after.
A very intense duet with a penchant for forgiveness.
I LOVE this book x2!!!
What a spectacular ending to Landon and Shay’s story. Their story had the most amazing, real, flawed and beautiful characters. ALL THE FEELS. The good. The bad and The ugly.
I loved getting on this ride and enjoyed the ups and downs. AND the perfect epilogue *gah!*
I absolutely love Shay and Landon. And Mima, Raine, Hank, Karla….. all of them.
Part 2 gives us Shay and Landon as adults. We see them grow and evolve and trying to find themselves without losing each other and then life happens.
AND we also see 3 generation of women holding each other and always supporting each other.
AND the friendships!!! Beautiful (for lack of a better word) the friendships are priceless.
“How’s your heart?”…”Completely full”
5 “I love you times two” stars!!
“I know I probably have no right to say this, and I’ll probably kick myself for putting myself out there like this, but I have to do it. If there is ever a moment where you begin to believe in second chances,” he said, his voice low and controlled. “Please give one to me.”
Wow! What a read! The Landon & Shay Duet is complete and it is everything. Talk about an emotional second-chance romance. It rips your heart to shreds but then pieces it back together in the most complete way. Encompasses all of the feels, even days later refuses to let me go. I loved Landon and Shay’s heartbreaking yet beautifully fulfilling love story, and it is one I will relive in the years to come.
Part Two is a hard read. It picks up after Part One and it is filled with anguish. I cried for Landon and his troubles. It’s crushing to see the weight he carries on his shoulders and the darkness that consumes him. His insecurities are real and his challenges are overwhelming, and I didn’t think my heart could take all of the pain he endures.
Shay loves Landon and so the things that he experiences, she experiences too in her own way. She is flawed but relatable, and I felt her struggles. She is so strong and is there for him through it all even when he pulls her into the darkness. What she faces is agony but she knows she needs to be strong for herself and I loved her courage.
Shay and Landon are soulmates but their timing is wrong. They have their hearts broken over and over again and I almost couldn’t handle it. I mean, how much heartache can one couple go through before they can’t come back from it?
“I’d spent the past years trying to delete every part of him from my entire being. But it turned out first loves were unable to fully erase from a person’s psyche. A part of Landon would always live in my heart. From his kiss alone, he unlocked that corner of my heartbeats, and then proceeded to break it all over again.”
Shay and Landon need to grow individually before they can make it together and they do. Both change as the years go by and learn that they must love themselves before they can love another. Along with the pain and suffering there is hope that they would find their way back to each other. The reunion is heart wrenching and they have a long road ahead of them but I could feel the love that was still there.
I hated what they go through in the beginning both personally and as a couple, and though it crushed me, I understand why they do what they do. The second chance is that much sweeter. Their journey back to each other is intense and difficult but ultimately they share a love that is unbreakable, and I felt everything.
“Our love wasn’t traditional, but it was ours.”
As heavy as this book is on heartache, there are lighter moments that will make you laugh and so much love that it overpowers the darkness. I loved the relationships between Landon and Shay and the secondary characters. The close knit group of friends who grew up with Landon and Shay were wonderful. Just like in Eleanor & Grey , they are all there for one another no matter what. I have to mention that Karla is a stand out character and she really pulled at my heartstrings. I remember her in Eleanor & Grey but to see more of her and her relationship with Landon and Shay was really special. No feelings were downplayed and their unconditional support and love is everything to this bright beautiful girl. I would love to see Karla grow up and find love in her own book.
Overall, Landon & Shay: Part Two was more that I could have imagined. It gave me the happily-ever-after that Landon and Shay deserved while taking us on a rollercoaster of emotional. No matter the pain, the heartbreak is worth it to experience a true love like theirs. It’s an outstanding second-chance romance and the perfect ending to the L&S Duet. This duet easily joins my list of favorites for 2019!
5 “Only Ever You” stars!
Shay Gable & Landon Harrison were sworn enemies who went to high school together in Raine, Illinois. They developed a deep connection while sharing all their secrets with one another. It was a once in a lifetime epic kind of love that consumed them heart and soul. Then they are separated when he moves to California. After experiencing Landon’s love, nothing else compared, so Shay vows to wait for him. It’s hard to survive a long distance relationship being miles apart with only a few stolen moments. Soon her life felt like it was crumbling around her, and she began to lose hope they would have a future together. She wanted to figure out a way to make it work between them, but he was achieving all his dreams, and she felt left behind. Before long, his career took off, and he was the golden boy celebrity rising to fame.
Months, and then years go by. It’s been over a decade since Shay has talked to Landon when he suddenly shows up in Chicago. He’s still a huge star in Hollywood, but she’s no longer the same trusting, young, naive girl she once was. After years of silence she couldn’t believe the broken boy who’d disappeared from her life was back, and wanting to reconnect. She’d long ago shut off her emotions, and couldn’t let him get close enough to hurt her. He broke her heart, and she wasn’t sure it had ever fully recovered, but one touch, and it’s like fireworks all over again.
Landon met a girl years ago who made him believe in love, and she was everything to him. Losing her was one of his biggest regrets. She had once been his comfort and his home, and he’d wanted to give her the world. They shared a heavy history, but he was still hoping she would let him back in. She’s worth fighting for, but is it too late? Can they finally get their happy ending and a second chance at forever?
Landon & Shay book two of the L&S Duet by Brittainy C. Cherry is an unforgettable, beautiful, emotional, enemies to lovers, second chance romance with all the feels! The story is told from past to present about first loves who find their way back to one another. It’s full of angst, passion, and has a broken hero who will steal your heart. I loved this book so much! It’s everything special and unique that you find in a Brittainy Cherry novel. Just fantastic!!!
Landon & Shay Part Two is an absolute masterpiece. My heart, mind and soul is weighing heavy and I’m still reeling from Landon & Shay’s story. I fell hard for them in the first book, I couldn’t wait to get my hands on book two and I devoured it once I started reading it. I was fully invested in this captivating storyline and my love for Landon & Shay grew more as I navigated through their incredible and emotional journey.
Landon & Shay Part Two’s plot is an excellent mixture of broken and complex love coupled with twists, turns, heartwarming moments and painful heartbreak. However, it was well worth it to get to the beautiful end. This is a five star plus book, the duet should not be missed and without a doubt is one of my top five favorite duets of 2019.
I received a free copy of this book to read and review for Wicked Reads, so here is my review.
The first book of Landon & Shay was hard on the heart but book 2was hard on the soul. In book 1 you learn their past so you think book 2 is going to be their present. Well, it is past, present and the future but also so much more.
Landon tries to fight his demons and use Shay as a crutch until she finally has had enough and ends their relationship. Both are miserable without the other. It’s like they are living without their own hearts. But until Landon gets his life under control and controls his demons, there will never be another chance for them to have a future together.
Can Shay forgive Landon for all the tabloid gossip? Will Landon tell her the truth about why he did some of the things he did all those years ago? Is there hope for Landon & Shay?
I love Brittainy C. Cherry and her stories will have you laughing one minute and crying the next. The stories are so breathtakingly awesome that even though your heart may break while reading one, Ms. Cherry will always put it back together with loving care.
I highly recommend reading book 1 first and then enjoying this one. And if you haven’t read this author yet, read The Air He Breathes, it’s my favorite and I love all her stories.
**Wicked Reads Review Team**
Brittainy C.Cherry breaks me in every single story. Landon & Shay Part two made me cry and scream from all the heartbreak and angst. At the same time this story celebrates beauty of epic, undying, all consuming and forever kind of love. This love story owns my heart and soul.
Usually we know romances are about how the couple fall in love and find their HEA. Landon & Shay is a bit different. The second part of the story starts when they are irrevocably in love. The love that helps them breathe and live. And they thought they have everything. But fate had something else in store. Landon’s darkness consumes him more and more. Till even Shay’s light cannot help him. Years pass. Times change. Landon becomes the celebrity Hollywood A lister while Shay is still trying to make something out of her dream of becoming a screenplay writer. Will Landon be able to find his way back to Shay like he promised? Will Shay be able to stay strong enough or drown in own heartbreak?
This story is one of most honest and realistic depiction of a person’s struggle with depression. I am absolutely impressed and awed. This can be a resource book for every person suffering from mental health issues. The whole story is basically about breaking your heart into millions of pieces repeatedly. But it is also about getting back on your own two feet every single time. The pain and heartache of Landon and Shay pierced my heart. And it left me as a blabbering sobbing mess. I had to stop too many times to absorb and process the heaviness of the author’s words. It was a very emotional journey for me. I completely lost myself in the pages. Shay and Landon are both incredible characters. Shay had a lot of breaks and tears and darkness in this story because that’s what loss and heartbreak do to a person. Landon is a complicated man but I love every single facade of him. I wanted to shelter them from every hurt and pain. I wanted to kill them for their stupidity from time to time. I wept happy tears when their love triumphed over everything. Trust me the road was not easy at all. There will be mistakes and guilt. Your heart will be shredded into pieces and you will need to throw your device a lot. But at the end you will be grateful for this story.
Story like Landon & Shay Part two is the reason I read romance. It touched my heart and imprinted inside me. The brilliance of the tragedy and heartache of the happily ever after made me fall in love with Brittainy C Cherry’s words.
Received ARC for Honest review
I could not wait to get back to Landon and Shay and to get more in their present since book one focused on their past. I was a bit surprised to see that a big chunk of book two still focused on the past, but it revolved around new events and was also important to their story. Their love story was tumultuous, passionate, and angsty. Not only the parts in high school, but the years after leading up the present reunion.
Landon’s struggles are not something that can be fixed overnight. He has good times and bad times. Even though he finds success in his career, he still deals with his demons every day. And even though they fight to keep it going long distance and give it a good effort, Landon’s darkness continues to put a shadow and strain on his own life and he sometimes cannot find his way out.
Shay has a big understanding heart and does her best, but she also has been disappointed and hurt. Eventually, it comes to a point where she has to practice some self-preservation. But while he is living his dreams, she has been left in suspended animation.
It is the story of soul mates pulled apart by distance, time, circumstances, and pain. Sometimes their worlds collide, but then they are pulled apart again.
But now they are back in the same town and have grown and matured over the years. Landon is on a mission to get Shay back into his life or at least make amends. Shay has a hard wall around her heart, trust issues, and fear of rejection. He is now Hollywood’s golden boy and she is still stuck in limbo with unrealized dreams. She thinks he is living his best life and he just left her in his rearview mirror, but she does not know everything. He finds it easy to put on a mask for everyone but her. And he has kept her close to his heart and mind for years, but never told her.
Is now finally their time to bare their secrets again and refocus on that connection that brought them together so long ago? Or is there too much pain and scarring to overcome?
This is an emotional, angsty, and sometimes frustrating, second chance love story told in dual points of view. It deals with hard topics and there are no quick fixes. It is a complex journey of self-discovery for the characters. I think the author did a good job dealing with the subjects of depression and anxiety and how it affects relationships and self-worth. Landon’s journey is especially touching as he has so much work to do on himself and has to find ways to keep his focus and avoid triggers. I adored him. And Shay tries hard to be his biggest support, but she also needs to take care of herself.
Even though this book still dealt with more of the past, and their present was maybe half the book, it was all new and relevant to the development of their relationship and their issues. I was thrilled that the author added an epilogue to their story to see glimpses of the future.
I truly loved these characters and their soul-felt connection that could not really be broken completely despite mistakes, miscommunication, heartbreak, time, and distance. It was always there under the surface just waiting for the right time and for them to be willing to take a risk. This one brings all the feels…it’s intense, moving, and heartbreaking, but also witty, passionate, and romantic. I was totally invested in them and did not want to put it down.
I enjoyed more with Eleanor, Grey, Karla, Raine and Hank from the previous books. They all have history and truly care about each other. I would love for her to revisit this world again and bring us Grey’s daughter, Karla’s story as she matures more.
OMG Goodness!!! Phenomenal!!! I was anticipating the conclusion to Landon and Shay’s epic love story. It exceeded my expectations and grew another piece of my heart. I couldn’t get enough and the more I read the more I paused and had to take a break because I didn’t want it to end. Then when I got to the second to the last chapter, I thought there was a 3rd part. I was seriously expecting another delay while waiting for another chapter in their love story. This story brought me to my knees. Almost literally. I craved each word, each sentence, each paragraph and each page. This was a truly a wonderful journey for both characters. I just hope Shay gets her chance to shine brighter. Maybe an epilogue? This story became my family next to Some epic Kennedy Ryan novels. Landon and Shay get to be apart of Grip, Bristol, Iris, August, Jered, Banner, Keenan, Lotus, Maxim and Lennix. I keep adding more because you and Kennedy light the fire in my heart and continue to bring my soul peace. Truly Stunning.
10 STARS if possible
