Great read!
You get a real feeling for what it was to live at the time of Jesus.
I enjoy inspirational stories and find it fascinating to imagine the life behind some of the individuals that we meet in the Bible. Although the character’s lives are not detailed in the Bible, this author does a wonderful job of helping you to imagine what their thoughts, emotions and experiences may have been. They take on a truly human nature and are very relatable.
I loved this book. It was hard to put down. I had no clue till the end that I was reading about the woman with the issue of blood.
Tessa Afshar is one of the leading Christian writers. Love how she brings scripture to life. This book held my attention from start to finish.
Wonderful historical novel that ties in scripture. I loved these characters.
Best I have read so far this month
Great biblical fiction
It made the Bible story come alive!
I love her writing, it really makes the bible come alive.
I liked the characters, & story line. I liked the fact that the author had the imagination to bring to life the biblical story of the lady with the issue of blood. The book was exciting, reverent, knowledgeable of the time it happened & very enjoyable reading for me! I look forward to reading more books that she has written.
