Kate McAdams was forced six years ago to leave her beloved hometown of Willow Valley, leaving behind her family and the only man she’s ever loved, Marc Caliendo. Although she has created a new life for herself away from the drama, secrets and stress of the small town, she must return upon her grandmother’s death. Her return brings back wonderful memories, especially of Marc, but also horrible … fears from the past.
When fate throws her and Marc together once again, how can they ignore the everlasting love and desire between them? Will Kate stay and face her demons or will the deceit and secrets of the past destroy any future they may have and force her to leave again?
This book can be read as a stand alone, but for more enjoyment read them in the order of the series, as all the characters appear in future books.
Note from the author: This is a small town, second chance, happily ever after with loving sweet snarky sisters and a rich billionaire hero with a fake marriage.

It is a good light read yet held enough interest to keep turning thepages. In between a heavy action pack read this is a book to enjoy.
I love great love stories and happy ever after romances. This was wonderful!
I liked the book very much Good plot and witty in parts.
Loved the series. Kept my attention.
I definitely want to read the other books in this series.
Great love story.
It was a funny romance story. I couldn’t put it down.
Loved it good reading…..
Decent story
There are editing issues in Lakeshore Secrets. Although the author tried to create justification for the character’s actions, they behaved inconsistently except for their constant manipulations.
I thought this was excellent.
Kate McAdams and Marc Caliendo were best friends and lovers. Kate was from the wrong side of the tracks and Marc was from a rich family. Marc’s dad was a ruthless businessman and had unscrupulous was of doing things. He wasn’t above threats or worse. So when he tells Kate she must leave Willow Valley and Marc and not come back, she does. Kate feels leaving her family and her first love would be better and safer for them. After the death of her Grandmother she decides to return to Willow Valley, but things aren’t the same. This story has romance, intrigue, excitement and great characters!
Too simplistic. Poorly developed characters.
I enjoyed the book, debating whether I want to read the rest of the series.
Always did like “Wild Thing”
Ending made me hate the female lead. No interest in seeing where their story ends.
Very romantic, very easy to read and such a good read I couldn’t put the book down.
I did not like the premise and was not enamoured with the characters.
Book one in the McAdams Sisters series. This one very well written romance novel. It had me hooked from the very first page as we are introduced to a couple that was together years earlier but do some hidden secrets they were pulled apart. Thanks to the death of Kate’s grandma she has to return to town for the funeral and deal with her past. Marc is anxious to see her but at the same time h cannot understand why she left the first time with no contact whatsoever since. As the story unfolds it is quite comical as the two of them try to keep their secrets while still be undeniably attracted t one another. The addition of some family drama is just the cherry on top of the cake that keeps the story really hopping until the secrets are finally all revealed (which I will admit I did not see all of them coming). The personalities had me cracking up and I loved the interactions between all the characters. I highly recommend this to fans of contemporary romance novels. I really enjoyed it so it gets 4/5 stars.
It didn’t take long fore to fall into this story. Marc and Kate have so many unresolved feelings and issues that it was hard to stop, I just had to know what happened. I can say that the big secret was for sure not what I expected! This was an amazing read and I can’t wait to read book 2!!
