His eyes have the power to undo all the hurt caused by my family.“Don’t let them see you cry.”After months of refusing, I finally agree to move to America, where my fiancé’s waiting for me.Just like my mother, an arranged marriage lies in my near future.Just like my mother, I’m probably going to be shoved aside in a couple of years after providing the Cutler family with an heir.Being a Korean … family with an heir.
Being a Korean girl from a culture that’s very different from the west, it makes me stand out like a sore thumb. There’s nothing I can do but to accept the fate arranged by my father and his mistress. My marriage to Lake Cutler will be a business deal and nothing else.
My plan is simple. Make him hate me enough to break off the engagement so I can return to Korea.
But I didn’t account for those caring brown eyes.
What started as a mission to save myself from an unhappy arranged marriage soon turns into a battle to not lose my heart.
I dare him to walk away, but instead, he shows me any bridge can be crossed.

This is Book 3 in The Trinity Academy Series.
All 3 books are interconnected, and some plots are carried over from the previous 2 books in this series.

I can’t believe it’s over
After so much what we are coming to an end and with an amazing book.
Lake story is by far for me the best of all 3. Lake and Lee stole my heart with their pure love and understanding. Their passion and love to one mother brought me to my knees.
Love always win and seeing our my wonderful boys together, new and previous makes this book so much better.
I received this book as an arc in an exchange of an honest review and that’s what I did.
Don’t miss this series!
Book 3 in the series! enjoy each and everyone!!!. Lake was a good book and now I hate it that the series is over. Ugh! Trinity Academy will now live in my heart and I can read it over again thanks Michelle!!
I loved this book! It was the perfect conclusion to this trilogy. All the loose ends were tied up in a neat little bow that made me so happy. It was full of so much emotion I feel happier after having read it. This was my first set of books from Michelle Heard and I will definitely be reading more from her!
“Do you have any idea how much I love you?”
“Yes,” I whisper, and when I’ve managed to catch my breath, I continue, “It’s the same unconditional love I have for you. It’s so strong and endless; it will last me a thousand lifetimes.”
And the original trilogy ends. With only Lake missing telling his story, it’s time to say goodbye to the characters. And I can honestly say I’m not ready for that. These guys are so special, it’s impossible not to miss them.
As the other books have described, Lake is engaged to a woman he has never seen in person. With a marriage agreement arranged by their families, he and his fiancee just exchange a few text messages and talk briefly through videoconferencing. Living with an ocean away only adds to that fact.
When he finally meets Lee-ann, he learns that nothing he thought was true. But even so, his protective side kicks in, and ensuring the well-being of the fragile and delicate girl becomes his primary mission.
Lee-ann is in a different country, away from her mother, being forced to marry a guy she doesn’t know. All this thanks to her father, a cold and calculating man. The perfect villain for the narrative. But if her initial plan was to piss Lake off for be sent back, comes across his cares, his politeness and protection may be too much for her so fragile heart.
An American boy, rich, with a privileged life. A humble Korean girl who knows hard work and suffering. Two pure, kind souls who just want to find their place in the world. And be happy.
If Falcon is the reason and Mason is the force, Lake is the heart of the trio. With a beautiful friendship between the three, the trilogy is an ode to these guys. The bond that binds them together is too strong to be broken, and even with the other characters, and with each finding their happy ending, the essence and main thread of the story are these three. There would be no history without Falcon, Mason and Lake.
While I can recognize that Lee-ann’s life was not easy, and that her plot was dramatic, and even caused me some tears, I didn’t like the addition of the character. I didn’t think she matched Lake. Amid the other two strong female characters, Lee-ann ended up having a secondary role.
Chairman Park was obnoxious. But the conclusion of his plot was very fast. I expected revenge, retaliation. He and his lover were neutralized very quickly. Falcon’s mother and Serena had their punishment.
The ending with all gathered was interesting. The trilogy ends satisfactorily. This peculiar group will be missed.

I definitely found my favorite in the Trinity Academy series with Lake! Lake knows what his future holds; an arraigned marriage to help secure the future for his and the other guys company, but he never expected the twists and turns meeting the woman who was to become his wife would bring. For Lee, the future bride, her life changes forever that fatefully day when she is 16 and meets her father for the first time. Now she finds herself in America and meeting the man who be her husband, all for a business deal for her dad, andearning things are not what she thought they were going to be. Lake is kind, sweet, patient and protective of his future bride while he works to earn her trust and then proves to her that he is the right man for her future. These men and their counterparts have taken me on a journey I will never forget, but it’s Lake’s story that grabbed on to me the most.
Lake oh Lake, I have loved you throughout all of these stories, and you did not disappoint. We all know that Lake has been sensitive or maybe just quit, and that is why I say that because he is either eating or sleeping. But damn don’t mess with his friends or their women. But now, with his story, it is time for him to come to the rescue of his own woman.
Lee is such a sweet and shy girl, but god, what a bad hand of cards. When she finally gets to meet Lake, she has no idea if she can trust him. But it doesn’t take long for her to notice that something is different about him and his friends. They seem to take care of who and what they love. Now if she can figure out will she be part of this wonderful group? Or will she be left out in the cold?
A beautiful end to this wonderful series!
So many emotions with this book! I enjoyed it!! It was unexpected and gritty!
While I was most excited for Lake I am so sad the three major stories are done. Lake’s story was a sweet one of an arranged marriage to Lee all for the name of business. Lake was definitely one of my favorites with this witty attitude and soft side (not to be mistaken for weakness). Lee is placed into this arranged marriage situation by her father whom she has no relationship. Their story is one for the story books and truly had all the feels brought into it.
The way Lake, Mason and Falcon all have each other’s backs and are tough on the exterior but humbled with one another truly pulled on my heart and had me loving all these stories.
Lake was the third and final installment to the Trinity Academy series and did not disappoint. During the first 2 books I already knew that I loved Lake, but his book took it to another level. The amount of love and respect he has for Lee and the lengths that he goes to in order to protect and help her are amazing. Michelle Heard did an outstanding job at this entire series and I definitely recommend this to all, you will not be disappointed.
What a book and what a series from Michelle and I do love the fact that there was a freaking fantastic surprise snuck in there nope not going to tell no spoilers, but it absolutely made my day. Thank you for that.
This was such a good book my emotions were all over the place I didn’t know whether to laugh, cry or get angry one minute to the next, but I do know I absolutely couldn’t put this book down.
This is definitely a must read you need to one click this lil jewel it’s so worth it.
Lake’s story picks up where Mason’s book ended. Unfortunately several months passed before I was able to read Lake’s story so I was a little lost trying to remember some of the overarching relationships plot points. Normally, an author will add a line or two to “refresh” the reader’s memory, but this book lacked some of those details. Out of the CRC heirs, Lake is the least volatile in personalty which comes through when he finally meets his arranged bride, Lee. Having only recently learned of her father and his intentions of marrying her off to suit a business deal, 18 year old Lee is scared when she meets Lane, not knowing if he will be abusive. As they become acquainted, Lane learns the truth about Lee’s father’s role in her life, and the CRC heirs set a plan in motion to free her from his tether. I love the strong brotherly bond Falcon, Mason and Lane share with one another and the fierce protectiveness over the ones they love. Looking forward to the next generation of heirs to see if their bond is as great as their fathers.
I absolutely loved this book. Lake and Lee are absolutely adorable. I am very delighted with them. This is takes you on one adventurous journey. The writing and flow of this book is done well. I absolutely recommend this book and series.

Lake is Book #3 in the Trinity Academy Series. This is Lake and Lee’s story. It picks up with the heart-pounding cliffhanger at the end of Mason’s book. Lake’s story is not what I expected. There were a few twists and turns that I didn’t expect.
When Lake meets his fiance, Lee-Ann, he is surprised that she acts differently than when he texted and chatted over FaceTime. He feels like something is amiss. Will Lake be able to get to the bottom of what Lee-Ann is hiding? I was surprised at the lengths that Lake went to protect his fiance. His nurturing side comes out stronger in this book. He shows us in this book that he has the backbone to be just as ruthless as Falcon and Mason when it comes to those he cares about. Will Lake and Lee-Ann be able to make this fake marriage work?
I liked Lake’s book. There were some unexpected things I didn’t see coming. There were the usual laughs and shenanigans amongst the brotherhood of Falcon, Mason, and Lake, as well as the girlfriends. I love the bond they share and their fierce protectiveness of each other and their mates There were also some heartbreaking moments. I will say that I feel like it was a little rushed toward the end, and I wanted more but overall a good read. The end leads us to Julian’s book. I can’t wait to see what happens with Julian!

Normally Lake Cutler has women dropping at his feet, but the woman he is supposed to marry, for the sake of business, would rather run the other direction. Lee-Ann is beautiful, smart, and so far reached from the women he is usually interested in, but once he meets her, he wants her… she on the other-hand doesn’t seem fazed by him. He knows she is doing everything she can to get out of this arranged marriage their families have set-up for them, but surprisingly he isn’t, there is just something about her that draws him in… if only he could convince her to give it a shot!
In this next installment of the Trinity Academy series we get a closer glimpse into the life of Lake and the woman sent to the country to marry him. Neither of them are really in the right frame of mind for marriage, but with their family businesses at stake they don’t really have a choice. This was an interesting one to watch unfold, Lake is the more mature one of the group and seems as though he can handle anything, but Lee-Ann really gave him a run for his money. Not only was she testing him at every turn, but she also found a way to sneak past the walls around his heart, and sneakingly capture it. This story had a lot of push and pull and uncertainty to it, I had my doubts they’d be able to find common ground and go through with things, but was pleasantly surprised with the outcome. I enjoyed this one, it had the angst and drama the previous novels had, but it also had an unexpected sweetness to it too that really got me in the feels. Highly recommend you get your hands on this series, it comes with a cast of characters that will not only keep you thoroughly entertained, but also touch your heart too!
I requested an advanced copy of this title from the publisher, and I am voluntarily leaving my honest opinion.

I still love this series ! I still LOVE these characters !
And I love lake but I expected a little more from his story . From the book description I expected a lot
More fight from Lee and lake … in the previous two books he made me both Swoon and laugh so much but there was very minimal romance or laughs in this book . He was still strong and sweet and kind And beautiful lake but I’m. It sure I was hoping for more .
Lee has a couple of fighting moments but there was no fight against lake … like at all …
This is the third book in the series and you will need to read them in order for it to make sense and to have full appreciation for the world building this author has done and the characters !! Over all this group is so fun to read and follow . They all over come different hardships and there is definite character Growth and development . I’m looking forward to reading julians book !!
O.M.G. I didn’t think the series could get any better but damn Michelle knocked it out of the ballpark. Lake and Lee-ann are amazing together. Such much rawness in their story. Try not to cry while reading. I devoured this book in one day, I just couldn’t put it down. The bond between Mason, Falcon and Lake is irreplaceable. I can’t wait to read more Michelle’s books.
5 stars for Lake by Michelle Heard. This is book 3 in the Trinity Academy series. I love Lake’s personality, he is just the best. Lake has agreed to an arrange marriage to Lee-ann for CRC. Lee was told she would be part of this arranged marriage by a father she had never meet. Lee had a plan for when she meets Lake but when she actually meets him things change. These two are great characters and both have personalities that draw us in. Everything that has been happing in these books comes to ahead in this book. I love what Lake does for Mason and Falcon in the end. It just shows us who Lake really is. I loved this book and I can’t wait to read Julian’s book. Great work Michelle Heard.
The third in the series, and the drama just keeps coming. Lake is the one of the three that decided he would make the sacrifice and marry a perfect stranger for the business. When after meeting Lee, he starts to realize that maybe she didn’t agree to this arrangement. Lake is determined to make sure that Lee gets what she wants, but in the end what will Lake have to sacrifice to do that?
Lee is being forced to marry a stranger in a foreign country. The father she never knew sprung this whole situation on her, and for two years she has been trying to figure out ways to get her intended to back out. But when the time comes and she meets Lake, she realizes that maybe he is not the bad person she had thought he would be. Will two people from completely different cultures be able to come to a common ground and make a marriage work?
So, this was a bit different from the last two, still drama loaded, with that added bit of danger. We get to see some characters, that I’m thinking are from a different series; Miss Sebastian had me a bit perplexed, I was not expecting a character like her and I found her an odd throw in at first. This was a good story, and I give it 4 stars.
this is a hot read that will have you loving the romatic writing of this book. it will tear your heart out and make it bleed then heal it back together. this is a must read sweet read of the alpha men.
5 Crowns
This is the third and final book for the Trinity Academy. I have to say this is the book I’ve been waiting for. Since book 1 Lake has been the nice one, they guy who’s always happy and there with a smile. His sense of humor and unflappable loyalty had me falling for him since then. And this story does not disappoint, it shows how amazing this character is, and how great of a person. I loved Lake before this but now I’m obsessed with him.
“It feels like I’m watching my hopes and dreams come to life. ”
Lake is the comedic relief but at the same time, he is not a push over and he is not weak. He does not hesitate to jump right in when needed, he didn’t think twice about jumping in and helping Layla and he would do that for anyone. Mason and Falcon are super protective of him, because he is the nicest one, his heart is wide open and he loves with his whole soul. But to see the dichotomy of his character was amazing. You could easily see both sides to his soul, the caring full of love side and the possessive protective side that will do what needs to be done to help those he loves. I think that’s why he was my favorite you never had a moment with him where you didn’t like him. He was always this super special character that you just wanted to know and be a part of his life.
“When I hear Lee cry, it feels as if something reaches into my chest and rips my heart out. ”
Lee is this super sheltered girl from a different country who was essentially used as a bartering tool for her father’s business dealings. My heart ached for her she didn’t know kindness from her father or love, he just came and took her from her mother. So, when she gets to the US it’s a lot for her to take in. Everything is different, the culture, the food, the clothes. She has to adapt quickly, but I loved watching as all of Lake’s friends come together to help her assimilate to the culture but at the same time being cognizant of her culture and customs. This truly shows how much they all love and deeply care for each other, to help this girl they don’t even know. Lake is absolutely perfect for her with his kind soul and patient nature, it is exactly what she needed to feel more comfortable with her new life.
“In this life, the next, and thereafter.”
This was an amazing conclusion to this series. I can’t wait to see where Michelle takes us next, and since there was no jaw dropping cliffhanger I can safely wait for the next story without losing my mind. These characters are amazing and these stories have you running through all your emotions. I loved the quick and easiness of them but the depth you could still feel.
