I enjoyed listening to the audio book about how Lady Rample goes to a Jazz Club with her friends and solves a murder. It’s a combination of Historical Fictions & Cozy Mystery in 1932 London.
I loved Lady Rample she is everything you think of an intelligent wealthy woman of the 1930’s should be. You admire her spunk and you think no less of her because she doesn’t conform to societiy’s rules anymore than she feels really nessesary. Having a friend like Chaz dosen’t hurt either. She want need to meet society’s rule for a new husband for a long while. Stay free my Lady and enjoy life for a while.
So fun to imagine the 1920’s era setting. Lady Rample sets the bar high and makes a great feminine heroine.
This was a fun one to read
Enjoyed Lady Rample and her Aunt Butty. This is a fun cozy mystery.
This is a light, delightful read. It was a delightful introduction the the character, Lady Rample, and I look forward to reading more tales with her involving her and her companions.
I love Lady Rample’s Chutzpah in following her own, not following the rulers of society but following her own instinct in this mystery, The author brings her alive in my minds eye, I can literary see this lady of determination speeding down the High street of London solving puzzles that has men still baffled. A wonderfully written book with engaging characters and an excellent story lineLady Rample Steps Out .
This is a very short read. It is basically a short story. I received it complimentary so the price was right for only 182 pages. I did enjoy the characters but don’t if I would purchase another unless it is longer.
This is such an easy read and puts the reader in that time period so well. I really enjoyed the style and story.
Lady Rample is a woman to be emulated. She’s strong, intelligent and not afraid to be a nonconformist.
Can’t wait to read more Lady Rample
Enjoyed reading a mystery about the era. Love the main character.
Reminded me of Miss Fishers Murder Mysteries of TV fame. Fun read
Not my cup of tea.
This was a good, quick read to pass the time away.
Great female main character with a host of charming friends and tough adversaries.
Lovely froth of a murder mystery.
The characters were so odd that you just had to love them. Of course, this is purely a story but a really easy-to-read one that will capture your attention and keep you wondering until the last pages.
A fun page-turner fulled with quirky characters makes this an interesting read.
Lady Rample is an unconventional widow who romps through life while solving crimes. The book is light hearted, cozy mystery at it’s best.
