Fun escapist… love Lady Rample… adore her aunt! What a pair! Looking forward to enjoying more of Lady R’s adventures!
I enjoyed the book. Had some good laughs, and it was interesting. Liked the characters
This was a fun little mystery, not at all challenging, predictable, but not precisely boring. It did not cause me to rush out to buy the rest of the series, which was actually a relief as I’m too busy right now to get sucked into a can’t put down series, but it was interesting enough that I might pick it up at a more leisurely moment.
Great author! I loved this so much I bought the 2nd in the series and am now working on her other series!!
great book
THIS WAS A BOOK THAT I COULD NOT GET INTO. IT JUST DID NOT HOLD MY INTEREST.
I enjoyed this book very. It was well written
Fun 5o read especially if you like British humour and comedy
Such a fun read!
Lady Rample is smart, sophisticated, and oh so witty.
Lush descriptions of cocktails, teas and a deliciously fast car were well done, along with Lady Rample’s insistence on being independent and forward thinking, even in romance and choice of friends.
What an adventure to figure out whodunnit.
A likeable cast of characters made this one impossible to put down.
I was hooked from the first page!
Finished in one sitting.
Biggest regret? That it wasn’t longer.
Definitely recommend if you like your heroines smart, sassy and confident.
