It changed from the beginning. I thought the culprit was going to do a bit of robbing so we could go on adventures with her.
Interesting characters, a different twist to the story line.
I really wonderful read!
Could not put it down.
An unusual take on the Victorian romantic novel. A good escape from the real world if that’s what you’re looking for.
Unrealistic, unbelievable too many romances, but good dialog, likeable characters. Was nicely done and a pleasant light read.
This is an original read. The characters grow and work through their trails and tribulations in a realistic way. I love how fallible they are yet resilient. I recommend this book.
First of a series with some character overlap. The author specializes in unusual characters for the Regency period (unique and mainly female). Good character development, lots of plot twists and generally entertaining.
If the book focused on one couple, I would have enjoyed it better. As it was, there were so many heroes and heroines as to make me wonder why the title names only one of the heroines. It was rather annoying to have the flow of one couple’s story be interrupted by another couple’s in the same book, particularly as the others’ weren’t germaine to the title holder’s story.
