Can a lady with a reputation for disaster, stumble into love?
An unusual heroine, Fiona Hawthorn grew up running free. Without a mother to restrain her, she spends her days riding her horse neck or nothing across her father’s fields and swimming like a sea nymph. But inside a prim and proper Regency sitting room Fiona is bound to overturn the teapot or accidentally trip the footman. Her … footman. Her illustrious Aunt Honore decides to take the hoyden in hand, but amidst the strictures of the Beau Monde, Fiona is a fish out of water.
When she was younger, Lord Wesmont was her hero. Sadly, he came home from fighting Napoleon a hardened man. Nothing can breathe life back into his cold heart, nothing except, perhaps, the love of an unusual young woman who regularly turns his life upside-down.
Lady Fiasco is a Sweet Traditional Regency Romance.

his book was so good! It’s weird when you obviously know the twist because the author tells you plain as day and yet is able to suprise you within it all at once.
The main charcters are amazing as well as Aunt Honore, I wish she was my aunt type of thing. For a clean and sweet romance with a bit of humor, this book definitely hit the mark. I …
While this is actually the first in a series, the order of reading is not an issue, and I read it last. Aunt Honore is, perhaps, at her most outrageous in this one– a bit over the top. There are no surprises in the ending–that’s entirely OK. Little to no steam but perhaps a bit risque for a young teen. I wouldn’t mind seeing Honore work her …
I believe I’ve found a new favorite author. I just finished the 3rd in the series, but I enjoyed this one the most. I relate to the fiascos that happen around the leading lady, despite her best efforts. Aunt Honore is the BEST!
I have been Binge reading the books by Kathleen Baldwin. I have read 3 so far. Absolutely love them. Can’t wait to read the next one.
Funny story of a young woman who seems to have accidents follow her and a was veteran who feels he no longer has a heart. Very enjoyable story of finding love.
The entire time I was reading this I could see one of the characters as Dame Judy Dench, hear her voice, etc. . I really liked this story!
I really enjoyed this book, I have read it twice now.
This is one of the very few books I’ve read, where I actually laughed at some of the things that happened.
Not a book I would read more than once, but it was enjoyable.
Very entertaining!
This was a cute story.
Great funny, romantic read with unique characters. Lady Fiasco is a very enjoyable
book – have fun.
A realistic look (i think) at how romance can develop in the regency time period. I enjoyed it, although I’d rather read more steamier romances. It is a clean romance, good for younger girls.
hilariously laugh out loud funny…immediately looked for sequels
Lady Fiasco is just a light, good read with characters that are sometimes not what they seem to be. A very enjoyable read
The heroine was supposedly cursed because she was awkward and accidents tended to happen around her. She was blamed because of her reputation. Her personality did not follow any generic type, but was original. I would have given it five stars had not the hero been a kind of stock “wounded warrior” type.
“Still, an …
Fun to read
Cute. Good, easy read
I enjoyed this novel immensely!
Oh wow!
How I would have loved to have had an aunt like Aunt Honore! What a woman! The things she planned and got away with and I simply loved her!
Then we have the heroine, Fiona, who has been blamed for whatever catastrophe happens in her vicinity. Thank goodness she has a thriving sense of humor and charm on her side even if she would be …
