After Sybil’s younger brother is gravely injured, she’s desperate to help him. Unfortunately, the one girl who could alleviate his increasing melancholy has been whisked off to London by her ironfisted guardian. When a handsome stranger offers Sybil his assistance, she dives headlong into a clandestine scheme fraught with danger. As the rescue unfolds, deceit and mysteries are brought to light, … light, the bonds of friendship are tested…and passion is unleashed. Can Sybil manage to save her brother without losing her heart to a man she cannot marry?
A clean and wholesome Victorian romance with a touch of mystery and intrigue!

Lady Fallows’ Secrets is a wholesome romance in which a dashing poet falls on hard times, yet holds the heart of an equally charming heiress, Euphemia, who (exemplifying the meaning of her name) means to be a bright, good omen in his (initial) despair. If only they can be together.
Offering help in his attempts to win Euphemia free of a dastardly uncle, is his plucky sister and their friend. The heroes and heroines here are resourceful as they band together to unravel age-old family secrets, and overcome their trials that just seem to pile on and on and on the group. And the villains Ms. Rogers created here are just evil as can be (Oh my God, I hated those dastardly dudes by the end)! All of this adds color to a delightful, twisty romance tale that I thoroughly enjoyed.
Characters I liked with lots of twists and turns that I didn’t expect.
Clean book with well written characters
Lady Fallows’ Secrets is kind-of two romances in one. Gotta love that!! Especially when you love both couples! Ash and Euphemia go through so much to be together! Their constant devotion to each other is inspiring. I really admired Sybil and her willingness and desire to do anything to help her brother. Then there’s Tom, who has nothing to gain in the beginning, but is willing to help because it’s the right thing to do. All four are wonderful characters that I was rooting for the whole time!
I loved the book! I was enthralled from beginning to end! With two sweet love stories, villains that were easy to hate, action and daring rescues, secrets and intrigue, I just couldn’t put the book down. Highly recommended!
I was given a complimentary copy of the book, which I voluntarily reviewed. I have given my honest opinion.
I just finished this book and just have a smile on my face. What an adventure! This is several stories in one which makes this a fascinating read you will not be able able to put down. Ashley Pepper and Euphemia Exeter are devoted to each other and cannot wait to marry. The problem is Euphemia’s guardian, her Uncle Quincy wants her money which she will inherit on her birthday. He takes action to get rid of Ash by making Ash have a serious accident that puts him in a wheelchair, possibly never to walk. Whisking Euphemia off to London before she realizes what has happen to Ash, he plots to make her marry Gerald, Lord Fallow to gain control of her money. Complicated you say? In a twist, Euphemia gets a note to Gerald’s brother, Tom Reeves to help her in her plight. Meanwhile Ash and his sister, Sybil come to stay with Tom to help rescue Euphemia.
Not to give away the story, there are a lot of twist and turns which are fascinating. With adventure, intrigue, hidden secrets (Yes, Lady Fallows’ who is Gerald and Tom’s mother that has just passed away) and a couple of heartwarming romances, this story has it all. This is the first book I have read by Suzanne G Rogers and what a great one to be introduced to her stories! She is now part of my “read every book” author list and cannot wait to pick up the next one.
A quick read that keeps your interest with good characters and descriptions.
Quit partway through. It just didn’t hold me. Didn’t dislike it, it just didn’t hold me at this point. May or may not go back and finish later
I read this out loud to my husband, it kept us guessing.

Excellent read, if you enjoy Victorian romances, this is the best one I have read in a long while.
Page turner.

This book was so much fun! Every character was very well thought out. It starts out gripping, and keeps you on the edge of your seat every moment! The situation is different from any other book I have read and becomes increasingly different for the rest of the time. It’s a great roller coaster ride in every good way!
Good storyline. Almost too many characters and too many setbacks/disastrous events.
Nice twists & turns that makes this story very fun & entertaining!
