My relationship with Cole isn’t a simple one. It’s complicated, frustrating and, at times, downright ugly. You see, I fell for a man who couldn’t love me back.Hard as I tried to avoid the dimpled prince of Seattle, life threw us together. As much as I resisted temptation, he burrowed his way into my heart.Sinful as our attraction was, our destinies were entwined. But don’t worry. Ours is a love … entwined.
But don’t worry. Ours is a love story after all. I had no idea how our fairytale would play out, but one thing I knew for certain?
Fate had a twisted sense of humor, and she did not play fair.

Nat King Cole. That’s what they called us.
Natalie was the sunshine in my gloomy existence, but she wasn’t mine.
We were friends at best. At least, that’s what we told ourselves.
Hard as I tried to stay away from the vibrant city girl, life shoved us together.
She was out of reach, but lived under my skin and haunted my dreams.
Despite the unshakable attraction, we never crossed the line.
You might say our relationship was a test of fidelity. And doing the right thing had never been more challenging. We may have toyed with destiny, but for damn sure…
We didn’t tempt fate. Fate tempted us.

There are regular times in my life, when I don’t realize I need a certain book until it’s in my hands. Some books we seek out because we are attracted to them and others fall in our laps without question. This contemporary romance fell into my lap last week and I ate it up in one day of reading. It reads quickly and has a lot of drama, longing for love, and pain that draws you right in.
We have our main characters Natalie King and Cole Adams.
Natalie is a self-motivator, trying to prove to herself that she can do things on her own and is building her career in banking. Her life focuses around being with her family, her best friend Lucy, and her career. When the book first starts, she is working on separating from her long-term, aggressive boyfriend that’s a narcissistic nutcase.
Then we have Cole Adams. The handsome (albeit rich), quiet man standing at the counter of the coffee shop where Natalie is and when their eyes meet, the air charges and they both immediately feel like they know each other from somewhere. This was the biggest element that tied the entire storyline together – fated lovers that could never be together. While Cole and Natalie can feel fate continuing to pull them together, Cole is engaged and in love with Natalie’s former high school enemy.
Things are incredibly complicated as Cole’s friend starts to date Natalie’s best friend and they find themselves constantly brought together. But the part I loved most about this story was the continued focus on fate and destiny. It tore their hearts apart each time they saw the other with someone else, because they just knew they were meant to be together. The author does an amazing job by keeping infidelity out of the story, no one cheats on their partners, which lends even more to the heart breaking outcomes.
There are a few really hot sex scenes, lots of bad language, but the book focuses mostly on the entwined love destiny of our main characters. A moving romance novel I’d recommend to any of my romance reading friends!
This was an interesting read. The characters are well developed and engaging and the couple has plenty of chemistry throughout the and a storyline that kept me turning the pages.
I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.
I am new to Krissy Daniels, but I can’t wait to read more! The blurb intrigued me and I am so excited I read this book! Cole and Natalie’s story was so amazing! L.O.V.E pulled on every heartstring – and I loved every second of it!
Krissy Daniels is a new to me author that pulled me into her story, I will be going back and reading more of her work. L.O.V.E was a fast paced read that pulls you in, you will fall in love with these characters.
Natalie and Cole are perfect for each other, but the timing isn’t right. This book really pulled at my heartstrings. The things these characters go through have you hoping in the end they will end up with who they are supposed to. Natalie and Cole are tested and try to do the right the thing, it’s hard when your feelings are so intense. This was a great story of soulmates and I loved every minute of it.
This is a must read!
This my first time reading a book written by Krissy Daniels. And I must say that she took me by surprise. The story, even from just the blurb itself, made me captivated from the get-go. Cole and Nat were such intriguing characters that you can’t just help but empathize with them.
I thought that it was just some romantic love at first sight type of story. So I was pleasantly surprised when it turned out to be an angsty and emotional rollercoaster of a love story. The story has complicated relationships and friendships. You get that raw and emotional feeling of being torn between rooting for these two characters and also wanting them to do the right thing at the same time.
Overall, I’m very impressed with the way Krissy Daniels has written this book. It had the right pacing and the perfect blend of angst and romance that will leave you very satisfied in the end. I’m looking forward to reading more of her upcoming books!
“L.O.V.E.” by Krissy Daniels took me by surprise in the very best of ways and I loved it more than I ever could have anticipated. Based on the story’s beginning, I was expecting it to be a cute, sweet, and fluffy read, but instead, it quickly turned into an angsty, engrossing rollercoaster that gave me all the feels. I read most of the book in one sitting, constantly on the edge of my seat, just waiting to see what would happen next.
I’m not a big believer in fate or love at first sight, but even I had to admit that it seemed like fate had a hand in bringing the main characters of this story, Natalie and Cole, together. They still had plenty of obstacles standing in the way of their relationship, and at times it seemed as if those obstacles just might be insurmountable. That said, both Cole and Natalie were very likeable, well-developed characters, and I appreciated how hard they both tried to do the right thing even when their hearts were pulling them in a different direction.
I highly recommend “L.O.V.E.” for all fans of emotional contemporary romance and will be waiting with great anticipation to see what Krissy Daniels writes next.

Sweet emotional anguish! What a beautiful soulmates romance this is. Two souls bound at birth and finding each other at the wrong time with their insta love/lust. Nat King Cole Adams. Beautiful lovers caught in a moment and then caught in a terrible situation. He’s not free and neither of them are cheaters. But they’re thrown together when their best friends fall in love. Avoidance is not an option. Oh, the anguish is heightened when Cole’s fiancé turns out to be Nat’s moral enemy. The emotional drama is turned up but Cole and Natalie stay strong even when their hearts are shredded by their forced distance. Such wonderful characters and their heart-wrenching love is palatable as the story unfolds with major drama around Cole’s fiancé and his friend and Nat’s unrelenting stalker. Not a real surprise in the treachery that is uncovered but the mystery of Nat’s stalker unfolds with suspense and danger. I was surprised by this story and the depth of the emotion and beautiful love between Natalie and Cole. Wonderfully written with fabulous characters and a lovely friends and family feel to the story. This is my first read from this author but it won’t be my last. Her writing pulled me in with the heartfelt romance and outstanding characters. Loved it!

Wow I can barely put into words how I am feeling after finishing this book. This is my first-time reading Krissy Daniels and I am officially a fan! This book had my feelings all over the place but the amount of anguish I felt for Cole and Natalie was overwhelming.
I had never felt more coveted. Ever. Not through words, touch, actions. Especially not from the way someone looked at me. And that man studied me like I was the answer to all his questions.
I cannot say I have fell for a person at first sight but that is exactly what happened with Cole and Natalie. The moment they looked at each other they knew that there was something special. To have that kind of connection with a person only to find out you could not be with them is truly devastating. That would be bad enough but of course their best friends fall in love and now they are stuck being around each other.
”I had no right wanting him. I never should have befriended him. I told myself that I was doing it for Lacey. But that was a lie.”
It really broke my heart knowing how guilty Cole felt about his feelings for Natalie knowing he cannot act on them. He was really in a horrible position, but he did not stray and stayed faithful. It was bad enough they could not be together but for Natalie to find out it was because of her enemy made it so much worse. We knew some of what Victoria had done but she really took it to another level.
”Tell me you know why I’m here.”
“Tell me you’ve wanted this since that day in the coffee shop.”
“Tell me I’m not alone.”
Every time I thought I had an idea of what was going on in this story it was like a new twist appeared. So many things happen in this book I felt like I was on a rollercoaster of emotions. I was on the edge of my seat the whole time and devoured this book in one sitting. Krissy drew me so far into the story that my heart was breaking for them as if I were a part of it. Amazing job Krissy Daniels!
Krissy Daniels did a good job on L.O.V.E, the story was written well. Natalie and Cole were made for each other, the connection was strong between them, they were drawn to each other. They were good for one another but their journey was a tad bumpy. I enjoyed their story.
Be prepared to read this book in one sitting. It is so good you will not want to stop reading! L.O.V.E. is going on my top reads of 2020 for sure!
If you love a story that has old time feels and fate mixed with angst, suspense and tragedy you will fall in love with this book.
