Can one night of passion ruin your life—or save it?When Liam Love is hit with one tragedy after another, his grief sends him into a toxic spiral—until his wild ways come to a screeching halt with a DUI and a woman who claims he’s the father of her baby. As if that wasn’t enough, according to his father’s unusual Will, Liam won’t get a penny of his inheritance until he finds true love. But after … he finds true love. But after Liam’s court-ordered community service at a homeless shelter throws him together with a gorgeous headstrong young woman, he starts to think a fake romance with her might be his ticket to wealth and independence.
Cherisa Landis wasn’t ready to be any man’s anything, fake or not, after her divorce from her cheating ex. Her florist shop was doing a gangbuster business, and she didn’t need anyone’s help, especially a sexy hunk with a chip on his shoulder. Besides, it takes a mighty good man to be better than nothing, and she wasn’t about to settle for “good enough.” Not even when she discovers Liam’s hidden talent and realizes he has more layers than a cake—a yummy, tempting cake that threatens to throw her off her man-diet for good.

Hot and fast read. Drama, steam, action galore. Love this series. The author puts so much in short a short story. Five stars.

This is the first book in the series and is Liam and Cherish’s story these two meet while doing community hours at a homeless shelter he is there for drink driving and her for unpaid tickets. I enjoyed this book you cannot help but feel for Liam but would have thought the last thing he would be doing was drink driving since it cost his family so much. Other than that I liked these two they were good characters.

This is a book that has some suspense and mystery involved with the romance. Liam Love and his three brothers lost their mother, Liam’s fiance Rose and the other brothers’ girlfriends in a tragic accident involving a drunk cement truck driver two years ago. Each of the four brothers handle their loss in a different manner. Liam unfortunately chooses alcohol. Shortly after that, their father is diagnosed with cancer. He fears for his sons. Before he dies though, he changes his will and leaves a stipulation that they have to marry for true love to get their inheritance.
Liam is the lead boss on a construction site. He secretly wanted to be a painter but his father discouraged him. Now two years later, Liam has to do community service for a DUI. There he meets Cherisa Landis. Cherisa is also doing community service. She owns her own floral shop, she is a divorcee who also has her sister and niece living with her (Priscilla or Prissy is ADORABLE!!!!) Things start to happen to each of them that start to escalate into danger.
I thought the plot was a good one and flowed nicely. There were times when I was a little confused but was glad for the dual POV format. This helped me to better understand Cherisa. Another thing that bothered me was the unprotected sex (the scenes were not overly graphic but there were some details that may offend some.)
This is a sexy read. I would only recommend this to someone over the age of 18.
Cherisa is doing community service at a homeless shelter for speeding ticket.
Liam is doing community service at a homeless shelter for DUI.
Both of them had suffered in the past and they are not the most trusting people in the world. However, there is an attraction between them.
The book is well-written and the characters are likeable. However, there are some issues that are not credible: Liam DUI after his mother and sisters-in-law to-be had been killed by a drunk driver? No way. And the other thing that I have problems seeing is the first time they are together: it’s like the scene has to go anywhere and it just was dropped there. It is cold, rushed, and out of place.
Apart from that, I did enjoy the book.
Liam love was working off a DUI by doing community service. He was not interested in women as he had lost his love Rose two years earlier in a traffic accident. Near the end of him time, in walks Cherisa Landis, who is doing community service for speeding. Their first meeting does not go well but he is intrigued and can’t stop thinking about her. At the bar with his brothers a one night stand tells him she is eight months pregnant wit his child. When his father died he made the provision that the four boys could only receive their inheritance if they found their true love. What’s he going to do?
This is a great contemporary romance with a bit of heat thrown in, just enough to make it steamy. Amazingly defined characters, well written narrative and wonderful dialogue all help make this a love story worth reading. Emotional drama keeps the reader interested as the characters learn what is really important. Through dealing with their internal struggles and external obstacles they are able to work towards happiness. It is a book worth reading if you like romances with some heat.

Book one of a four book series. Each book can be read independently of each other but reading all four novels in the series does add more depth to the overall landscape of where the stories take place and generally, enhances the reader’s experience of all four novels. This is a well written original story that flowed well and was easy to read. There was a good solid romance that kept getting obstructed by both the main male and male female characters’ ex’s. The main female character on the one hand seemed to be quite naive and then on the other, she seemed compassionate and understanding. There were strong bonds of familial ties evidenced throughout the story. It was heartening to read about such a close knit family. There is action, adventure, industrial sabotage, and some stalking. The main male character matured quite a bit during the telling of this tale. Through having experienced a nasty work situation, he was able to stop, reflect and look at altering his career path.
Good reading material.

The story Cherisa and Liam is cute, but I felt the stor could have used a little more dept. I would have enjoyed it more had some aspects been more elaborated. I felt that the few issues that were in this story could har been given more space and dept, but all in all not a bad story.

OMG I’m so excited with continuing this series if the rest of the brothers books are as well written as Liam’s than we are in for a treat. The books characters are engaging with enough chemistry and twist to keep me engaged from page one. The storyline has some emotional background with having a tragedy to help heal from.

L is for Liam by Bonnie Vane this was well written and had a good flowing storyline. The characters are interesting, we have Liam and Cherisa who both have had some life events that brings them together while doing community service. This was a story with a touch of drama, a bit of heartbreak and just maybe love. I voluntarily reviewed an advance reader copy of this book

I have mixed feelings about this book. I like the story but I did have the stalker identified way before the story got there. Liam and Cherisa are basically two normal people who have each had their share of tragedy. They have their HEA but there are some loose ends regarding her ex and her sister’s romance. This is a pleasant story with some excitement (not well verbalized) that I enjoyed reading.

This is a standard romance and it was okay, maybe others would like it but wanted more from the story and it didn’t deliver unfortunately.
This is a quick read. Liam and Cherisa meet at a Homeless Shelter where both go for community sentencing. I do have a slight issue with the fact that Liam was for DUI and he had lost his mom, fiancee and 4 other friends to a DUI driver. Even though he comes from money he is not flush and is working as construction project manager. He has a heart of gold and is trying to do the right thing. Cherisa is strong independent women who has her on floral shop. Her ex is a jerk in the worse way. Where this story dropped the ball for me was no satisfying conclusion with the ex. So does that mean hes showing up in other story lines of the brothers? There is some suspenseful harassment, steamy sex, funny moments and a HEA.
