In the age of hookups, can love survive the test of time? “Is love dead?” Juniper asks. “There was a time when love was prized in novels and poems and not hushed up like a dirty secret — when a couple’s worth was not sized up by their kinkiness, designer diamonds, limos and mansions but by how much love they had for each other.”On paper, Kyle and Juniper are opposites who should never be … should never be together, but they are unable to stay away. Navigating a long-distance relationship takes work and creativity but navigating the tension between true love and its modern interpretation is an even bigger challenge. Get ready for another fun ride as Juniper and Kyle fall in love over time and place.

The perfect sequel to what was already a perfect beginning. But not perfect in the easy way; perfect in that real life, messy way that aches and twists and turns until you’re not sure they can take anymore. Yet they do, you do. And in the pain there is hope…
Kyle and Juniper picks up exactly where Juniper Smoke ended. Kyle and Juniper are going to work on having a relationship, even if Juniper signed the papers for an end date. It’s the first weekend, and while Juniper wanted to surprise Kyle and plan the entire weekend, he surprises her first. The chemistry and strong feelings, dare I say love, that these two have for each other is uncharted. Kyle is really changing his way of thinking and doing things. He in including Juniper in everything and thinking of a future together, but she starts talking about the end date. Kyle is telling everyone Juniper is his girlfriend. He’s even talking of a future with her with Evan – all HUGE steps for him. Kyle tells Juniper they have three rules, at the end of this book – Juniper breaks all of them. I was so upset at her for her reaction to all that Denise told her – especially when she knew she should have gotten away from Denise and not listened, and she saw how Kyle was looking for her and put off his speaking to find her. There are so many other things going on here – Kyle’s family, Juniper’s mentor offering her a job in England/Scotland. Cypress is thriving and has his own girlfriend, and seems to have a good friendship/relationship with Kyle. Juniper’s mom has left the apartment a few times. All things Juniper should be thankful for. This one ended in a big cliff hanger, and I am ready to read book 3 to see how it all goes. I am so invested in these characters, and really I am in awe of how much Kyle has grown and changed. Still want to know more about him and Chloe. I’d also like to understand the relationship with Min-Juan a little more. Also would like more on the Denise thing and why she hates him so much and wants to destroy him. Something just doesn’t add up with her, and I hate that she seems to have gotten Juniper. These characters and all the others and the style of writing of this author, draw you in, and you are invested in the characters, and sometimes you are screaming at them, and you don’t want to put the book down until you are done, but you love it so much you also don’t want it to be over. Pick this series up, and read it!
I can’t get enough of this angsty couple! Really enjoyed this book and will be reading book 3!
Kyle and Juniper’s love story continues. You just know that Kyle’s behavior and unemotional attachments were caused by his past. Chloe still haunts him as he struggles to build a relationship with Juniper. Kyle and Juniper are opposites being drawn together with magnetism that won’t quit. Juniper believes the best in people not experiencing first hand the evils that lurk with Denise and Royce.
Just when you thought Kyle and Juniper would overcome their opposite backgrounds and experience, the other shoe drops and Denise pulls the rug from under Juniper.
I know there’s more to the Chloe story. As for Denise, she can just fall in a manhole that’s missing it’s cover. So glad that I can jump right into Book 3, Finding Juniper, to have all the gaps filled in. Very enjoyable read, Saida! i received the book for my honest review.
Kyle and Juniper are amazing and their story keeps getting better and better. This series has kept me engaged from the beginning and can’t wait to continue!!
Kyle and Juniper are very different but they seem to work together and reading this second book was great and I just about to read the third book to find out what happens next for I am really enjoying this couple.
Kyle and Juniper will take you on a journey. Kyle is a control freak. Juniper is his opposite, his unexpected. There are so many things you will be able to relate to with all of the characters. Emotionally, you are in for a ride. You can feel everything the characters are going through. This is definitely a must read.
Kyle and Juniper picked up where Juniper Smoke left off. Juniper and Kyle are going to make an attempt at a relationship of some sort. The chemistry between them is off the charts and both are finding this as a new experience. Book 2 finds the couple navigating the world as a couple when neither has played this role before. Will Kyle and Juniper be able to withstand the storm outside their little bubble?
OMG I am loving this series! I jumped right into book 2 as soon as I finished book 1. The characters are taking on a life of their own. I love Kyle despite his crazy system. The author has really given this series it own twists. It is hard to keep up with who is friend or foe. Can’t wait to jump into book 3.
I think they are slowly wearing each other down. Kyle is still obviously controlling, wanting Juniper to drop everything and just go where he wants her to. There are reasons why she shouldn’t or couldn’t, but she mostly gives in. Part of me hates it but part of me is happy he’s not giving her an option. Juniper is making Kyle relax his rules and learn to let go some, but I wonder if it will end up in disaster? On to book 3…
This is book two and follows up where Juniper Smoke leaves off. Juniper and Kyle continue to work on their relationship through distance and bumps in the road.
These two are opposites who blend well together without sacrificing or losing themselves which I loved.
Loved the location setting and I enjoy these characters so much! I received a copy of this book and I am volunteering to leave my review
Book 2 in Kyle and Juniper’s love and life story. This one is full of great moments for them, but it’s also full with angst, more secrets and a little more drama. It also ends on a stronger cliffhanger than book one.
I hope we get resolution on the last book and that all those crazy characters get what they deserve. Overall, very good book.
Kyle and Juniper by Sadia Ash is Book 2 in the Smoke series We get to have some more fun and excitement as we get to know these two interesting characters. These two just shouldn’t be together but there is just so much pull between them. There were some parts that just were a bit to dragged out for me but overall a good story and can’t wait for more from these two. I voluntarily reviewed an advance reader copy of this book.
Such a great book absolutely loved it
Kyle Paxton’s whole life revolves around numbers and start and ending points. He struggles with the chaotic mess of real relationships so he finds if he begins with a start date and an end date then there is no mess and everything stays in line but everything changes with Juniper.
Juniper Mills is nothing like anyone Kyle has met before. She is innocent and her life revolves around her job at the museum in Ann Arbor, her research and her family. Juniper knows that Kyle isn’t good for her but she struggles with staying away from him no matter how much she knows she should.
As Kyle and Juniper try to figure out their “beginning and end” they both being to find themselves in uncharted territory. Soon they find themselves with other people taking an interest in their relationship and will the pressures be too much?
I must say I wasn’t too sure after the first book but this one sucked me in so much more with all of the twists and turns!
To a certain extent I do completely understand why Kyle has beginnings and endings after what he has been through in the past and also because of his infatuation with numbers and controls. In this book you get to see more of his family dynamics and the issues that are there between everyone and it was super interesting with lots of new developments and I must say several unanswered questions. You also get to his side about Chloe and it answered some things but I am still curious about other things.
I love Juniper and I understood why she was so hooked on Kyle but at the same time I really wanted her to be able to live the life she deserved and be truly loved by someone. I knew Kyle had deep feelings for her but I was so scared that he was going to hurt her bad. I really wish we got a little more of Cypress in this book as I felt like she spent so much time away from her home and it couldn’t have been easy on him, even with his own budding relationship.
There was so much tension between Kyle and his brother Royce and most of seemed to stem from his divorce from his wife Min-Jun Jeon and his new relationship with Denise. I know I felt like something was or had gone on between Kyle and Min-Jun but there was so much animosity between Kyle and Denise that they had to have had a past as well. I was surprised with some things we learned while other things I am still waiting for more on. I hated that Denise was so cruel to Juniper as she didn’t do anything to her but she is so dead set on destroying Kyle that she doesn’t care who gets hurt in the meantime.
I loved the offer Juniper got with her schooling and I hope she decides to do it for herself and nobody else!
The ending was pretty jaw-dropping but I really wish that Juniper gave Kyle a moment to explain as I think he was going to admit that everything was cancelled but now I need to wait for the next one!!
This is book 2 in the Smoke series. Must read book 1 because this begins where book 1 ended. Kyle and Juniper are great characters. They are the total opposites of each other and are so stubborn. Sometimes i wanted to scream at them and hit them on the back of the head. This book is well written and the characters are great. Can’t wait to read the next book in the series.
I thought this would be a continuation of Juniper Smoke but it felt like it was just repeating Juniper Smoke again but with a different point of view. It just made their story drag out even longer.
In this book we see the progression and Kyle and Juniper. It’s not an easy story. There is plenty of drama. Some days I want to slap Kyle and other I want to kiss him! The end of the book had me heated!! The author did a good job at evoking emotions
Holy wow! Juniper Smoke is a fantastic book. The author did an amazing job with the chemistry of the characters and bringing the storyline together! I have read book one and two in the Smoke Series and I cannot wait to see what will happen in book three and four. I’m officially hooked on this series!
Juniper says Yes to Kyle’s proposal. Kyle and Juniper see each every weekend. They work their jobs during the week and have a weekend together. It works and she meets the Paxton family and Denise gets a hold of Juniper and lets her insecurities get the better of her. She wants to run but Kyle talks to her and gets her to stay. They have a fantastic couple of months until things go from good to bad to heart break and the only thing she can do is run and protect herself from any more pain even tho her heart belongs to Kyle and it will basically break her for anyone else. She needs to go. Will Kyle understand or expect how Juniper is? I need the next book.
This is book two in the series and it did not disappoint!! Amazing characters (for the most part when a certain male isn’t acting arrogant) that you will be cheering for to get it together and get their HEA. These two are total opposites to me but they work. The story is so well written that you actually feel as if you’re one of the characters living the story. For me this was an easy read because you are so invested you won’t want to put it down. I can’t wait for the next one!!
