But she seems … seems to be the one girl who can give him something no one else can.

This is my first time reading a book from this author. Trust me it won’t be the last time. I’m anxious to get my hands on more titles from this amazing author.
Kozart is a rock star with a terrible childhood. One night out, he meets Aubrey who just found her boyfriend in a compromising situation. Together they form a bond. She’s a regular girl who loves country music and has no idea who he is. He’s a rock star who is conflicted between doing what’s best for his band and what he wants the most, her.
This was such an addicting story that I read it none stop until the last word was read. It’s addicting and highly entertaining. Great characters that felt real. They were flawed and well developed. The storyline was beautifully and perfectly executed. A solid page turning story that held me captive. I can’t wait for more from this author.
Standalone told in a dual POV with an HEA. I strongly recommend this story.
I received an ARC of this book and this is my voluntarily, honest review of it.
J. Nathan is a writer whose books I discovered very recently, I love her new adult ‘For you’ series and ‘Kozart’ is the first book of hers that I read that isn’t part of this series so I was curious about it. And the fact that the story is about a rock star, made me even more curious and excited. And now that I have read it, I’m very happy to say that I enjoyed this story also very, very much.
‘Kozart’ was a pleasant surprise to me because when I started this book I had this idea in my head about how this story would go, the idea coming from previous ‘rock star’ stories that I had read from other writers. Most of this stories are emotional and a bit dark and edgy but this wasn’t the case with this story and I LIKED that!! ‘Kozart’ was more of a sweet, fun story but it also had a few emotional scenes in it. I loved every bit of it.
Both, Kozart and Aubrey’s characters were very likeable, I appreciated their honesty towards each other and the friendship that slowly grew between them. I loved the fact that Kozart trusted Aubrey enough to show her his vulnerable side. Aubrey was a down to earth girl, who just knew how to handle this hot rock star guy. The interaction between the two of them was great. This new adult story is told from both POV’s.
So if you are looking for a dark, emotional rock star story filled with drugs, cheating and hate don’t even try this book but if you are looking for a sweet, emotional and fun story, give this one a try! If you’re a fan of Jamie Schlosser’s books, you really have to try this book too, you will love it!
I’m already looking forward to J. Nathan’s next book.
Wow! What a beautiful, well written, witty story that gave me so much joy and happiness. I adored every word of this book.
I am fully in love with Kozart; that’s for sure! That man melts my heart. What more can I ask than a man who is as vulnerable and sweet as this rock star? He is now in my soul. Aubrey is just the right amount of sassy, sarcastic and sharp that he needs. These two just sparkle and shine right through to my heart.
I was right there with Kozart and Aubrey, willing them to open up to each other and wishing the outside forces would just leave them alone. I loved the way they met and their whole journey. My heart broke for both of them several times throughout their story. I never wanted the book to end.
Kozart is a standalone and was my first book by J Nathan. However, I am going to find more books to read right now!
I’m totally in love with this book and its characters. I love how sweet Kozart was with Aubrey. He is completely yummy. I also have a girl crush on Aubrey. She was quirky without being weird.
Loved it!! Definitely recommend!!
