I can buy my secretary’s submission—or I can take it the hard way.My ex-wife’s fatal car crash left me with a cruel gift:A daughter I never knew I had.I am a billionaire. A mob boss. A titan. Not a babysitter.I need a woman’s touch to help raise my daughter. My secretary doesn’t know it yet, but her life is about to change.Charlotte is gorgeous. Feisty. And best of all… gorgeous. Feisty.
And best of all…
Desperate.
So from now on, we’re going to do things my way.
It starts with five little words:
“Let me own you, kitten.”

An effort to read
The book had various continuity issues that irritated me and made reading feel like a real effort. I can forgive this if the characters felt believable. Unfortunately both Charlotte ( the h) and Clinton (one of the protagonists) had personality changes in the book. Kostya (the H) was more believable but the story was too convoluted and his back story could have been revealed to the h throughout the story instead of as an aside at the end. I did not feel the connection between the H and h.
*spoiler alert*
When Charlotte is kidnapped by a rival gang, her car is supposedly left at one of Kostya’s properties which is how they know she is missing but later the car is at the location she is being held is but one example of continuity issues. Makes for difficult reading.

What an addictive, deep and sexy ride! This book played like an action-adventure movie in my head, and I just didn’t want it to end. Okay, I didn’t want it to end badly for sure, but I could have continued to read about Kotya and Charlotte and Tiana for a few more chapters. Her mom, I wished her death a few times, like every time her character was on a page though. I would love to see more stories involving the guys who work for Kotya, that would be cool. I couldn’t put this book down, the build-up was steady, both with the steam and the action, both sexual and violent, but I didn’t want to skip over any part of it. The writing was engaging, the characters were either easy to love or easy to hate. I did take an issue with the injuries that Charlotte sustained during her thing, how injuries were written about before the exchange, but then when the fight scene was over, she was only minimally marked, but also unwashed and disshelved and yet no one mentioned it at all, not even the child who would have been the first one to honestly comment on what had happened to her. There was a series of instances where her injuries are almost cataloged as she plans her future retribution to the ones that hurt her, but those injuries just disappear. Aside from that though, the book was exciting to read, so much Bratva drama, secrecy, and scheming, minus that one complaint that I had, it was all pretty amazing to read, honestly.
This story was okay. I was hoping for more romance and less mafia business. The couple were comprised of two great characters, but a lot of strings were left hanging. I like the pretty bow at the end.
This book is a dark mafia romance that is not for the faint of heart. It will take you on a roller coaster ride of emotions. The characters will pull at your heart strings! There is plenty of action, secrets, craziness and more to keep your undivided attention and keep you glued to your kindle. A must have read! Loved it!
In this book we have Charlotte, who has been working as an office assistant for Kostya. Charlotte doesn’t know this but, Kostya is actually a Russian Don, as in mafia. Charlotte has been running is legitimate business office operations. She likes her day to day jobs she has. However, one night they both find out that Kostya has a 3 yr old daughter with his ex-wife who he knew nothing about.
Kostya wants Charlotte to move into his house nd become the nanny / caretaker of his 3 yr old daughter, Tiana. Kostya offers Charlotte a considerable increase in salary in exchange for living with him and take care of his daughter. Charlotte is also taking care of her mother, as her father died a few years ago. Her mother, hasn’t stopped spending money – and she is a very high maintenance woman to try to keep in line. Her mother worries about her other daughter who went ‘missing’, only to find out she left to get away from their mother. Charlotte has always tried to be the good daughter, and to help her mother, but, at the same time, she can’t keep this pace up.
There are twists and turns and danger throughout the book as Charlotte becomes more aware of the life Kostya has kept hidden from her while trying to reconcile the feelings she has developed for him.

A great mafia based dark romance read
Charlotte, an executive assistant, works directly for Kostya, a Russian with some shady associates, at his main office. As the story progresses favors are asked, secrets uncovered, and admitting the truth may just save them both. Nicole Fox’s Kostya is a great mafia based dark romance read. She has provided a wonderful cast of flawed yet relatable characters forced to swim in the shark infested waters of organized crime. I so hope she plans to turn this into a series Reader discretion is advised due to dark subject matter and/or possible triggers contained within.

Kostya: A Dark Mafia Romance (Zinon Bratva)
Honestly, Nicole Fox is killing this Mafia romance thing! She has done it again with Kostya.
Kostya is head of the Zinon Bratva. He is tall, handsome and a cold hearted killer. He also has a secret yearning for his assistant Charlotte. Charlotte really doesn’t know what his other line of business is. In turn, Charlotte is having day dreams, night sweats and all sorts of fantasies about Kostya. His biggest issue on making a move on Charlotte is her innocence in regards to who he really is.
Kostya, finds out that his ex-wife has died, leaving him with a 3 year old daughter he knew nothing about. What is he going to do? Charlotte, she is the answer, move her into his house, have her take care of his daughter and hmmm keep his hands off Charlotte! Not going to happen because even though Charlotte takes the job, she is even more drawn to him now that she sees him as a father getting to know his daughter.
That’s the beautiful side of this story, how well these characters come together to protect and raise this little girl. The darker side is a rival, the Irish Mafia is making a move on his territory. As if that isn’t bad enough, Charlotte’s crazy mother finds information on Kostya and threatens to reveal it to the police if he doesn’t find her other daughter and bring her home. Never mind the other daughter left years ago to get away from her crazy mother.
Fighting two foes, one he is sure he can eventually defeat and the other an enemy he has no clue how to deal with Kostya eventually is put in a position where innocents might die.
I stayed up until 3 am because I could not put it down, it is one of those “I’ll just read one more page and then you do it again and again and again.
One of the things I truly love about Nicole Fox’s Mafia books are her wonderful add on extended Epilogues. Just remember to always click on that link and get the Extended Epilogue, you won’t be sorry.
This is a great story with great characters. This story has great twists and suspense. I really enjoyed reading this book and didn’t want to put it down.

This is a Zinon Bratva series book. Meet Charlotte, she is the personal assistant to a powerful and dangerous man, Kostya, that she is attracted to and she struggles to keep things professional. She has one motivator, she absolutely, positively cannot lose her job so she keeps her thoughts and feelings to herself. Kostya is the Head of the Bratva, finds out his ex wife is killed in a car crash and she left him a gift, their daughter. He needs to find a woman to help raise his daughter and he is determined to have Charlotte be that person. How does he go about crossing that professional line? How can he determine for certain she is as attracted to him as he is to her? Those questions seem like peanuts compared to te other twists and turns that these characters need to endure to get to their HEA. A very exciting, action packed read with a great story and amazing characters. Enjoy!

I love Nicole Fox’s mafia novels but Zostya has to be one of the best she has written. This dark mafia read is an action packed story about Kostya, mob boss of the Zinon Bratva who struggles with parenthood when he inherits a young daughter (who he did not know about) upon his ex-wife’s unexpected death, and Charlotte, his klutzy PA drafted into the position of nanny. Add in Charlotte’s crazy blackmailing mother and the rival Whellan Irish Mafia and you have one exciting plot filled with unexpected twists, intrigue, misunderstandings, betrayal, violence, murder, kidnapping, and sizzling chemistry. There is also humor (such as the first time Kostya has to take his daughter to a public restroom), hilarious self talk by Charlotte, and fun banter between the main characters. You will experience a wide range of emotions while reading this book. I highly recommend this read!

An absolutely fantastic fast pace engaging page turner! The story line is well-developed, emotionally deep, and well written. There are twists and turns, suspense, danger, witty banter, humour, ups and downs, and more nail-biting adventure that will keep you on the edge of your seat. This book took me on one wild ride and kept me captivated until the end. The characters are strong and likeable; the chemistry between them is off the charts, intense, and potent. A lot happened in this book and it is definitely worth the read.

This is one of the best books I have read by Nicole Fox! Action packed, easy to read and so well written that you won’t want to put it down once you start it!! This one is a must read for me.
I absolutely loved this Russian mafia romance. Kostya was no holds barred, in your face and don’t care what people think about him and I loved it. I’m not sure how Charlotte didn’t have a clue about his business dealings but I didn’t think she was going to freak out as much as she did when she finally found out he was bratva. Their chemistry was intense. The action was intense. Kostya took care of things and he was fierce. Charlotte’s mom was the worse. The story had a lot of extreme emotional scenes and at one point I had the sniffles. Kostya and Charlotte had a wonderful HEA and I could have kept reading on it was so great.

“WOW” from start to finish this book was action filled, it was brutal in places and definitely erotic in others, an intense drama with twists and turns you just don’t see coming. If your looking for a sweet romance this is not the one for you. It’s a story of trust and acting on impulses and feelings to hopefully reach a HEA. Kostya is a dark Russian mafia boss with enemies who is thrown into fatherhood when his ex wife a conniving bitch dies in a car crash leaving a three year old daughter he never knew he had. Charlotte his sexy young PA fantasises daily over her boss fortunately their feelings are mutual but not acted upon how would it work out when she moves into his house to be nanny to his daughter, would they be able to resist there feelings ??? Charlotte has an overbearing mum who thinks she can manipulate Charlotte and Kostya surly this only means trouble!!! This story just pulls you in the flow of this book is amazing and definitely not one to miss. I was given this as an ARC by the author in exchange for a voluntary honest review which I am happy to give.
This book is absolute perfection! Nicole Fox, Queen of Mafia Romance, does it again! Kostya Zinon by day is a billionaire property developer. He is also the don of the Zion Bratva and that is his life. He is no-nonsence, demanding, sexy, alpha male. He is informed that his ex-wife recently died in a car accident and left behind a three year old daughter,Tiana. Tiana is most likely Kostya’s daughter. After all, Tiana’s mother named her after Kostya’s mother. Kostya doesn’t know the first thing about raising a child. He changes his executive secretary, Charlotte’s position to being a full-time nanny. Charlotte moves into Kostya’s home and soon their chemistry around each other is off of the charts. But trust is something Kostya doesn’t freely give. His ex-wife left him and took the trust he had with her. Things start getting dicey. Soon alot is at stake. Who is going to survive the fallout? Is it Charlotte that betrays Kostya? This book is a must read and I highly recommend!
This is a single dad mafia romance. If you like mafia romance you will love this book. It has everything a good mafia romance has.

This is my first read by Nicole and I am kicking myself for not finding her sooner. This lady can write a mafia romance like no other and I love that. Nicole had me fixated on both Charlotte (who is strong, fiesta, smart, and compassionate) and Kostya (stubborn, secretive, sexy, and protective) – I found myself getting so wrapped up in this story that I was cursing one moment, sighing the next, and then had my kindle in a death grip….I loved every second.
The action, unpredictability, and the love shared between Kostya and Charlotte is one that will stick with me along with having me compare other mafia romances to. I, definitely, will be reading more of Nicole’s stories after this

Can Kostya and Charlotte have a future
This is my 1st book by Nicole and I loved how she pulls you into the story of Kostya and Charlotte. Kostya discovers he is a father of a 3 year old girl when his ex-wife dies. Needing someone to care for her, he demands Charlotte take the job, but Charlotte has an added stipulation to find her sister. Their hidden attraction to one another can no longer be denied living in close quarters. But will Kostya’s suspicions about Charlotte destroy their chance of happiness? Or will Kostya’s enemy, be the turnaround for their happiness? You have to read to find out and will not want to put the book down until you turn the last page!
