Knocked Up by the CEO is a full-length office romance full of secrets and surprises and a whirlwind of forbidden naughtiness, all wrapped up with a beautiful and sweet HEA sure to make your heart soar! This book is part of the Office Romances series but stands alone. Books do not have to be read in order.

I liked Duncan and I loved Jupiter but I wanted to shake Chloe especially since she had been hurt by something Duncan had said five years earlier and felt that that had given her the right to keep the existence of their daughter, Jupiter from him! This seems to be a recurring theme with authors lately when writing oops baby second chance romances and I fear that it is setting a bad precedent for any of the women facing a similar situation that may be reading them. Why do the men not get a say in the unexpected pregnancies anymore? There are plenty of single fathers out in the world who are doing a fabulous job raising their children on their own so it is not like the male characters are not capable of doing this! On the one hand, I am glad that the female characters are all pro-life but I am disappointed that the males have to miss out on so many milestones in the lives of their child. First smile, first step. the first word, even the first day of school! Men want to experience these things with their children as much as women do! Other than that annoying factor, this was a good book that was well-written and overall quite romantic with a HEA which is why it does still get a three-star rating.

I received this ARC from Bad Boy Update. I’m a sucker for a second chance romance and this definitely fits the bill!!! Duncan and Chloe blur the lines of business one smoking hot night, but the next morning their lack of communication sends Chloe running. Five years later Duncan is a moodier alpha/boss and still can’t get over Chloe. When she turns up in Chicago again he is determined to see her. Chloe has been hiding something from Duncan, and while she is angry at him she can’t deny the spark that is still there. Love their story, the secrets, passion…loved it!!
Chloe Harper and Duncan Campbell are in Chicago for a conference of gaming designers and vendors. His company is the leader in the industry and he offers the best in arcades and game rooms. Chloe loves to design and thinks he would be the best person to partner with to have her games played everywhere. They spend a passionate night together with both of them hoping for more. The next morning, all that changes when they Duncan reads something wrong and yells at Chloe. Not having any idea what’s wrong with him, Chloe runs. She gives birth 9 months later, but doesn’t intend to tell Duncan about his daughter. I really liked most of this book, but I can’t stand Chloe. She’s an unlikeable, immature woman who can’t bring herself to tell the father of her child that he’s a dad?? Seriously? For four years, she keeps the secret until she and her daughter, Juniper, keep running into Duncan or his parents around Chicago. It’s time to let them in on the “secret.” The other characters are delightful and all’s well that ends well!
This book goes about the second chance that Duncan and Chloe gets. It was very well written and overall enjoyable.
I can recommend this book

I just love a book by Annie Rose. I am always entertain. She has the perfect story lines and her characters are off the chart. Chloe and Duncan both needs to get a clue. Love is hard. Petty betty stayed in their relations. Someone has to give a inch to work things out. Try you are a daddy. Love her mother with the knowledge that Duncan is a daddy that was her chip to have over Chloe head. Duncan was going to merge his company with Chloe dad company. Chloe was the one that showed up to seal the deal. Chloe father passed away and she wanted the company to succeed. The attraction was off the chart. Miss communication and five years goes by before you know it. Chloe back home now with his daughter. Will she tell him or not?

Chloe and Duncan kept me totally engaged throughout the entire book with the great character and storyline development that kept me turning the pages until the very last page!
6 Stars!!
Excellent Storyline!
Not only does KNOCKED UP BY THE CEO have a solid storyline, it also has wonderful characters. It made for a one-sitting read for me. I started and did not stop until I was on the last page. Even then, I hated to see it end.
This book has everything good books should have, a bit of angst, a touch of humor, a healthy dose of steam, enchanting characters, a believable, well-told storyline, and best of all an HEA.
It’s another winner from Annie J Rose.
I absolutely loved this story. The storyline was so interesting that it completely captivated me and was so intriguing that I couldn’t stop reading it until I finished with the very last word. I definitely recommend this book to anyone looking for an amazing book. Enjoy happy reading

Good: Characterizations. Story. and Kittens
This story was good and flowed well. The characterizations were also good and clearly identified each player in the cast as unique. The main male character was certainly forthright in business and seemed like a strong character in this arena. In his personal life he came across as a very sensitive and loving man. The main female character seemed like a very strong character both in her business life and as well in her personal life. When younger the main female character made some major life choices unilaterally to those involved. At this time she was grieving her beloved father and gearing up to take over the family business. On a personal front I found her to be a bit self-serving in terms of her life decisions and how she chose to live her life. The two main male and main female character seemed to have some sort of draw to one another. They had their trials and tribulations to face and overcome which they in the end were able to and did attain their happily-ever-after.

Kudos on a “real life” book!
Chloe and Duncan first met when she represented her father at a meeting where they were to discuss merging their companies. However, a misunderstanding ended their “relationship” both business and personal. Five years later they meet again; however, this time Chloe has a five-year-old surprise for him. Will they have the maturity to do what is best for the daughter? The story is perfect in its own right in that it actually reflects more of the way life really works than the ordinary romance.

Duncan had a meeting set up to merge his company with another and Chloe stood in for her father. In celebrating, they gave in to their attraction, but almost immediately a misunderstanding splits them apart.
Five years later, Duncan sees Chloe is back in town. But this time Chloe had a secret that she has chosen not to share with Duncan. Will he figure it out on his own? Or will she have the fortitude to do the right thing and tell him what she should have told him quite some time ago?
Grab your copy and find out how it all resolves for them.
Their chemistry was off the charts from the first time they met. However, Duncan misinterpreted an innocent event and exploded at Chloe about it. Five years later they met again with the same chemistry. But a lot of things can occur in five years. I loved this couple together and enjoyed the story. Good steamy read!

Good romance but a little predictable
It’s a good romance for a second chance: the characters Chloe and Duncan had a quick relationship but it was followed by such a quick separation. When Chloe returns 5 years later, they both fall in love with each other, especially when Duncan discovers what has really happened before. Yet Chloe can’t tell him the most important: he is the father of her daughter. This second chance turns out to be more emotionally complex.
The story contains some twists and turns, some hot scenes and some tender moments

Duncan and Chloe when sparks fly and they can’t seem to say no when ever they are in close proximity to each other. Between miscommunication and misconceptions this turns into a real wild ride. But by the end you will be satisfied almost as much as they are. It’s sexy, sweet and frustrating all at once.

Very nice chemistry between the two. I did want to smack them both in the beginning, but without that initial stupidity there wouldn’t be much of a storyline!

I so loved this romance between Duncan a CEO of a Gaming Business and Chloe the daughter of a business competitor. They meet at a business meeting when Duncan expects to walk in to meet with Chloe’s father but instead he’s captivated by the beautiful red headed daughter there in his place. They’re working on a business deal to join their companies together & during this time Duncan and Chloe are magnetically drawn to each other. The entire team goes out to dinner and dancing where Duncan and Chloe give into their attraction ending up back at the hotel together where their passion for one another explodes. The next day there’s a serious misunderstanding Duncan gets into a serious argument with Chloe she walks out & doesn’t come back.
Fast forward five years & their paths cross again when Duncan runs into her only to discover she now lives in Chicago and as the story processes they give into their temptation but this time just when you thought it was going to turn out great more issues happen. It’s a romance filled with passion, intrigue, surprises, twists and turns, and a beautiful little girl named Juniper plus two cats Victor and Memo. This romance kept me turning pages, I didn’t put it down until I finished it in one evening! I loved the passion and chemistry between Duncan and Chloe, and you’ll fall in love with Juniper. Great writing Ms. Annie Rose, your books just keep getting better and better!
This was an okay book. The characters were good. They had a good back story and were well developed. The story line was good but the conflict was underwhelming. The reason behind the initial split was disappointing. All that being said I thought it was well written although over explanatory at times.

Annie J. Rose tells a story that grabbed my attention and I loved every minute of reading Knocked Up By the CEO. It could not be any better. Duncan and Chloe just could not seem to get together. They came closer yet they had issues to settle before they could move forward. It is an unforgettable romance and of course, there is a HEA.
