Immensely Strong Main Female Character – 5 Stars
My goodness this was a really meaty read. This original story was interesting and involved familial issues of parents’ expectations for this children. The main female character was immensely strong to have made it through her childhood unscathed (relatively) and then as an adult to forge her own path. She came a long way over the course of this story; a rough road for sure. I have to say she had one of the greatest brothers who gave her unconditional love and support. Good Stuff!

Discovering Their Real Lives –
Andrei I had sworn off relationships and was happy being an antisocial workaholic, because of what happened with his ex-wife. Bridgit had been brought up in a privileged family, but the demands from her parents led her to try and forge her own path. The sparks between them during their first interaction is of volcanic proportions, but they try everything in their power to resist it. Their willpower falters not long after and they settle into a semblance of happiness. However, a misunderstanding, stubbornness, a decision to be independent and failure to communicate, nearly costs them their happiness.
This is a story about two broken hearted people who are meant to be together, but they are scared to acknowledge it to themselves and each other, until an intervention forces them to accept the inevitable. It is a heartwarming and heartbreaking story, that will be hard to put down once you start. I suggest you find a few hours of me time, then relax and enjoy this amazing book.

Bridgit and her brother, Steven were brought up by very wealthy parents. They expected her to toe the line and comply with all their demands…even to marry a man she despised. She did not agree, they cut her off completely and her brother supported her. He found her a tiny apartment and a job through a friend. Bridgit met her new boss, Andrei. He and his secretary Gina are very close and she hired Bridgit knowing she had no experience. Andrei and her hooked up one night and he wanted an arrangement. His ex-wife shows up demanding he let her stay with him. Of course, he said no but she invaded his apartment anyway. When Bridgit seen this, she left town completely. Steven took her to a cabin hours away where no one could find her; then she discovered she was pregnant and found another job. Then the man her parents wanted her to marry showed up…then her parents did as well…it was a nightmare. Now what will happen? Will Andrei find her as well? Will everything go up in smoke? Annie J. Rose has written a 5-star book that will have you from the first page to the last page. Bridgit’s parents kick her out and cuts her off when she doesn’t marry the man they want her to. Bridgit goes to work for Andrei and the attraction they have for each other is over the top. They end up together and things go fine until Andrei’s ex-wife Katya shows up wanting to stay with him since she is getting a divorce. He tells her ‘No” she is not his problem anymore. She leaves his office mad. Things return to normal for them and they start seeing each other away from the office. They spend the night at Bridgit’s and decide to go spend the rest of the weekend at his penthouse when they get there Katya is there and acts like she has been there for a while. Bridgit leaves upset and Andrei calls after her but she keeps walking away from him. He tries to call her but they all go to voicemail. He goes by her apartment but it is dark. She is sitting at her table when her brother Steven comes in and asks “if she has been getting texts from an unknown number?” She tells him she has seen a few but with everything that has been going on with Andrei, she has ignored them. Steven tells her to look at them since they are from their mother. She looks at them and they all say they need to talk. She tells Steven that she can’t deal with this now. He asks what she needs? She tells him that she just needs to get out of the city and asks if he could help her do that. Steven tells her to pack a bag, he knows of a place she can go. He takes her to a cabin and she thinks it is perfect for her. Steven makes sure that she has what she needs. Things are going fine for her until she starts getting sick in the morning so she goes to the doctor and finds out she is pregnant. She tells her brother but she doesn’t call Andrei to let him know. She finds a job there in the little town she is in and now she wants to stay. Andrei has rented an apartment just to keep from staying in his penthouse with his ex-wife. All he can think about is Bridgit. Gus, his friend tries to get him to go out with someone else but Andrei just can’t do it. One day at her job, the man her parents wanted her to marry shows up at the show she works at and he sees her. She knows that her parents will know where she is at in no time, so she calls Steven and tells him what is going on. He tells her that she needs to call Andrei that day and if she doesn’t he will go and get him and bring him to her so they can talk. The next day, Steven calls her to let her know that he and Andrei will be there in a little while. When they get to the cabin, Andrei sees that she is pregnant. They go into the cabin and she tells Andrei what her life has been like. As they are talking their parents show up and Steven takes care of them and they cut him off for siding with Bridgit.
Can Bridgit and Andrei get over the past hurt and move forward?

What a wonderful story and I thoroughly enjoyed it from beginning to end. Bridgit is the daughter of extremely wealthy parents and they demand that she marry a man they have chosen. This is to strengthen their business and they will use their daughter to that end. So Bridgit decides to run away after confronting her parents. She is then disowned. Thankfully her brother Stephen helps her find a place to live and recommends her for a job with a billionaire, Andrei. Once they meet, sparks fly. A runaway. A small, cramped apartment. No previous jobs. A new job. A gorgeous boss. A friendly office manager. Running away again. And a very big surprise. Loved it.
This story that one might think to be the same as others with this name… Billionaire boss etc etc and a baby… No, this story has at least two things going for it that I, at least, have not read in other such stories! Yep you will need to read it to find out. The storyline is good and the characters are as well. As the story is not a short one there is ample room in it for crossroads and plans hither and tither… I at least liked this story enough to give fabulous four stars.

I absolutely fell in love with this book. The new secretary and her new boss lived the high life. What is it about men that speak a foreign language that makes them so attractive to women? Andrei thought Bridgit was the sexist woman he had ever seen and she was equally attracted to him. If you like contemporary romance, you will like Knocked Up by the Boss by Annie J. Rose.
Andrei and Bridgit will have you all caught up in their office romance. When Bridgit is cut off from the family for not marrying the man her parents wanted her to marry, Bridgit goes to work as Andrei’s secretary. One look at her and he knows he is in trouble because she has awakened his heart. When a celebration leads him to taking her home, it starts their journey but will his ex cut short a beautiful relationship that could lead to a happily ever after for Andrei and Bridgit?

A GREAT STORYLINE!
I loved the storyline. It is solid and entertaining all the way around. The characters are enchanting and so lovable, even when they aren’t. They have a tremendous amount of depth which makes the story that much more fascinating.
It was a one-sitting read for me just because I was engrossed in the book and did not want to stop until I knew how it turned out. It was worth the time!
