I love his books! I think I have each of them at least 3 times.
Continues the adventures of Sid Halley. Great read continuing the characters developed by his father Dick Frances.
Dick Francis is so good at character development, with a simple story-telling style. Love his books.
My first read by this author. I will go back for more.
Love Dick Francis books
Dick Francis was a GREAT writer. He knew how to develop a character, whether protagonist or antagonist and his story lines all move at a gallop (sorry for the pun). Since the 1960’s I have always looked forward to his next book. Now I miss him very much.
Love all Dick Francis books
Fantastic writing! I’d like to read all of them. Strong protagonist.
Dick Francis is an outstanding author. I’ve read many of his books and feel this is one of his best.
I own quite a few Francis novels and I have always found them very good. It has been years, but he still writes good suspense
Dick Francis captures me with the very first words of his stories. I love his heroes and the glimpses into the worlds of racing that he incorporates into all his stories.
I love anything by Dick Francis and this is another one of his smash hits.
After I started ready this book I realized that I had read it years ago. It was worth a second read.
A great example of a well crafted mystery. Recommended highly.
Love all of Dick Francis’ books. Page Turner’s all and this didn’t disappoint.
Dick Francis’ books never fail to entertain. His writing is terrific and his characters are colorful. The plots are realistic and always leave me wanting more. When the dear man was still alive, my father and I would try to out-do each other rushing to the bookstore to get a copy of the latest in the series. I loved them all and miss the thrill of another Dick Francis book “hot off the presses.”
Love every book by Dock Francis any good mystery combined with the world of horses is right up my alley!
Haven’t ever read a Francis book (father or son) that I haven’t thoroughly enjoyed!
