This book arrived in the mail on Friday, and despite my never ending TBR, I grabbed it from the pile on Saturday and didn’t look up again until I turned that final page.
This book is based on Mrs. Ring’s true account of being her mother’s caretaker and all the trauma associated with being the caretaker of your ailing parent, but with the added drama of an unbalanced sibling and the unexpected mistreatment of a group of women, who should have become her friends, but were bullies instead. Thank God for her Jack, her husband and his unwavering support.
My heart goes out to Erina Bridget and her husband. They endured so much and lost so much in such a short time. No one deserves such pain, but you endured it together. You aren’t alone in with such pain, and I am sure that many of your readers can relate to it, and empathize with you. I know, I do.

Knit 2, Purl 2, Kill 2 is my first book read by author Erina Bridget Ring and it will not be the last. It was one of those books that you don’t want to put down. It was a very quick read. You are drawn into the story from the first page with the authors’ descriptions you feel like you are right there with Bridget. Bridget is trying to find comfort in learning to knit helping her to deal with the challenges that include caregiving for her mother and dealing with less than supportive friendships. I can’t wait to read her other books.

This is the true story of how one daughter tried to take care of her mother through the last year of her life and how others instead of helping just made it worse, not just “friends” but family. The hardest thing you can do is spend time with a loved one knowing they are not going to get better, you have to be there through the good moments as well as the bad, the very bad. This is a good book to read if you are going through or have gone through this. Thank you Erina Bridgett Ring for sharing this with us.
