LUCYI’ve always held my own. I’m determined.I’m happy.I’m strong. Not right now, though. Right now I’m weak. Pathetic. Because I screwed up, I screwed up in a way I can’t fix. I destroyed someone.I stomped on a heart. I broke the one rule all women should live by. There is no coming back from it. Yet, I can’t seem to find the strength to stop. Nicolai. That name. It ruins me. I tried to stay … stop.
Nicolai. That name. It ruins me.
I tried to stay away.
I fought so hard.
I knew what he was. Who he was.
I knew what he had done.
But I can’t seem to stop.
I try and forget how his hands felt against my skin.
How his lips felt on mine.
How his body moved. God, his body.
I’m a terrible person.
A terrible sister.
But take me to hell, if you must, so long as he comes with me.
DAMON
Get a girl, they say.
Find a woman, Damon.
Settle down.
I have one thing to say to that. Women equal drama.
You know it’s true.
I don’t have time for drama.
Why can’t I be different? Why do I have to follow the trend?
My story doesn’t have to match theirs. Hell, when the time comes I’ll find the right one.
Until then, I’ll stick to friends. Yep. I can do friends.
Lucy. She’s my friend. My best friend, if I’m being honest.
She’s strong.
She’s determined.
She kind of holds my pieces together. And I hers.
In the most non-romantic way I can think of.
She has plenty of her own drama, she keeps us both busy.
She’s like a sister.
No, scratch that.
Lucy, she’s the kind of woman who could run a country.
Hold a family together.
That’s the kind of person she is.
The lady of the house.
Yep.
That’s our Lucy.
Knights Lady.

Knights Lady by Bella Jewel is book Three in the Rumblin’ Knights series.
This book continues the underlining story going through this series, but also deals with Lucy. Lucy has crossed a line with her sister’s baby daddy and the fall out with that. Then she has a best friend Damon who has been there for him and he for her. Feelings are coming into play and Lucy is just trying to make things right.
“I became almost content with the fact that I was in a forbidden relationship, even though neither of us were going to call it that. No, we were just going to pretend it wasn’t happening and enjoy each other.”
Each installment in the Rumblin’ Knights series brings in more characters for readers to get to know. Some good, and others, beyond bad. The author likes to deliver sass, sex, secrets, suspense, and surprises. I never know what I’m in for when I start a new story, but those ingredients are always in the pot.
Ever since Lucy declared herself and Damon to be besties I have enjoyed their banter. He might be amused by her declaration, but he also steps up and fills the role when she needs him. Lucy is the younger sister of a ‘Knight’s Lady’ and therefore part of the family by association, right?
The author did a good job of making me see things through Lucy’s POV. As she is faced with choices and forced to take a hard look in the mirror, I also had to reconsider my opinion on the situation as well. Did I get frustrated with her? Yes. But, I guess I have to give her a break since she’s so young. She’s always had her older sister to look out for her and now that she’s crossed an invisible line that backup is no longer available. She can’t ask for help without admitting what she’s done.
Nicolai. A beautiful name for a beautiful man. He’s almost too hot and just standing near him might cause you to melt. He’s sex in a suit and extremely cold to most. At least he was… until her.
I guess we all tend to want what we can’t have, right? What happens when you dip into the candy jar when suffering from a lust induced haze and taste before your brain catches up? What if it’s so sweet you need another and another and another? Well, I guess there’s only one way to find out what happens to Lucy when she gets caught…
Finally we get Lucy’s story. I’ve got to be honest, I went into this book with my mind made up. No way was I going to like Lucy. Or Nicolai for that matter. However once I started to get to know Lucy I was firmly on her side. Nicolai slowly won me over and I saw a completely different Nicolai than I’d been expecting. He’s not as bad as I thought he would be. Everything he’s done has been for his son and i love man who chooses to be a good father.
I really enjoyed Lucy and Nicolai’s story. Neither was what I was expecting and I never thought Lucy would end up been one of my favourite characters but she did.
This is another good book in this series and I can’t wait for more from the Rumblin’ Knights series.
I enjoy this author’s style and ability to get me into her worlds and keep me there. In this one Lucy leads you on quite the adventure. She has many sides to her with those sides being exposed in this so we walk away knowing her very well. Nicolai will do a good job of having you yearning with wanting to see more of him also. Even though you too know that or should not be the one to gravitate too. Damon is not to be left out but he has and holds his own place. There are pov’s to follow that will give you the understanding because without them it would be a different story all together. Since I did not think I was gonna catch this one I was glad I did after all gives more to this world.
I have to admit at the start of this story I didn’t like Nicolai but through what Lucy went through I found that I loved him. This is one story that ripped my heart out and left me wanting more pages to read. The characters are real and riveting. The chemistry between Nicolai and Lucy was off the charts hot and I loved how Lucy struggled with it. This is one series that you won’t want to miss. You don’t have to read the series but it helps to know the back story of the other characters. Definitely must read.
This is the third book in the Rumblin’ Knights series. You can read this as a standalone, but if you read the other books first, you’ll know more about Shania, Nicolai, and Tommy. You’ll also know more about Brody.
Let me start by saying that I loved the previous books. This one just didn’t hit the mark for me.
Lucy, honestly annoyed me. I did like her in some scenes. Like at the end with Tommy. I love her friendship with Damon.
I really wish this would have been Damon’s book.
And Nicolai, I don’t like at all. Yes, he’s a great dad. But, he does nothing for me. He is beyond an alpha-hole. Yes, he does have moments of being nice, but not many.
The whole Yani thing is still left open.
It seems like Brody is getting a book next.
I would say to give this a chance. I have a feeling my opinion will be in the minority. And while I didn’t love this, it was still an okay read. Bella’s writing is great. And she’s an author that I love to read.
I am curious about how she’s a Knights lady when she’s only “besties” with Damon.
At last we have Nicolai and Lucy’s story in this expanding world and it was worth waiting for. Filled with action, which includes the wider circle of the Rumblin’ Knights, Nicolai and Lucy’s story has play put against issues from the past.
Great banter between Lucy and Damon, more of the sweet Erin and revelations about the past, keep the action rolling, not to mention hot and explosive times between Nicolai and Lucy! I loved seeing the improved Nicolai! Definitely great book boyfriend material right there!
I enjoyed this book, though I did some of the events repeated themselves. I am now on tenderhooks for Brody’s syory. Should be a corker.
I am a huge fan of this author so it wasn’t surprising that I loved this book. I mean she knows how to write a great story with characters you can’t help but love. This is no exception. I absolutely loved Lucy, Nicolai, Damon and the rest of the group. This brings up a subject that most of us forget.. there’s two sides to every story.
Lucy hates Nicolai for hurting her sister and despites the fact that there’s an attraction. Lucy is definitely a favorite character. She strong, sassy and loyal. She hates to hurt the ones she loves and in this one she most definitely does this. Nicolai reminds her that he’s not as bad as she thinks. He’s able to be honest and just open up with Lucy. He doesn’t do that very often. He is a determined business owner but a softy when it comes to Lucy. She fights him every step of the way but soon things fall into place for them. This book has characters you will fall in love and some you are glad that they are gone. This book was a great read!!
Knights Lady is one book I’ve been itching to read after the way book 2, Knights Fury, ended. The forbidden fruit aspect always so alluring!
Lucy, Shania’s sister, is certainly in hot water by falling for her sister’s ex-lover, Nicolai, who also just happens to be the father of Shania’s child- entering into a taboo relationship.
Lucy is a character who is hard not to like straight away. She is strong and determined but does struggle just like any normal person and I think this is one of the reasons why I really enjoy these stories, the characters are so real. Nicolai? Well I have to admit I had no idea how she could even go near him however things are revealed and people do change.
Every now and then a really funny line comes up and the humour is outstanding. For example when Nicolai turns up on Lucy’s doorstep and her knees tremble she tells herself..”I’ll be having a word to them later about this..”
A few heart racing moments keep you on the edge of your seat, great writing. The problem still circling with Finn and Brady continues to be a mystery and so intriguing. A thoroughly entertaining book I recommend to everyone however if you haven’t read the previous two books I suggest you treat yourself as they are a series.
