“If you like werewolves, shifters, paranormal, romance, mystery, suspense, secrets plus a whole lot more, then I highly recommend KNIGHT.” –The Avid ReaderALEXIA RAINE NEEDS TO BE RESCUED BY A WEREWOLF.Not just any werewolf either, but the top enforcer in the Bryant Pack. Which is why Neil Duran is pulled off a major case by his High Alpha to retrieve this unknown daughter of their most valuable … retrieve this unknown daughter of their most valuable member, or their entire wolf pack in the Pacific Northwest will lose all hard-won territory, shifting the balance of powers.
But convincing this feisty woman to come with him poses its own problems.
First, Alexia Raine never knew her real father.
Second, she doesn’t know that werewolves even exist.
Or that she herself might be one.
Or that their rival wolf pack will stop at nothing to acquire her for several unspeakable reasons.
Worse, she’s the most aggravating, infuriating, intoxicating woman he’s had the displeasure to rescue, and he may very well be falling in love with her.

Who am I again
Wow! Just wow, the author did a wonderful job of continuing her story with this book. The characters and suspense continue to build and when our featured couple meet they clash causing sparks that pull you through to the HEA. This author has created a world I can’t wait to visit again.
Wow, this was a great book. I kept wanting to see what would happen next. This story has so much going on with a feisty Alexia, and Hardnose Neil and of course all the other characters. We have Neil Duran who is a High Alpha and is looking for who is taking their gifted. WE have Alexia who knows nothing of the supernatural world, until one day Neil comes for her. What will Alexia do when her world gets turned upside down? What will Neil do to follow his Alpha’s orders or is it him wanting to do it? What is Neil really feeling? Follow along and see a ride of your life.

I love my shifter books they are one of my favourites. I am loving this series. I can’t wait for the next book. The story wastes no time in drawing you in and taking you on a journey. This book is a real page turner and I would have read it in one sitting if I could.
Alexia Raine’s life is turned upside down when she is captured and brought to a werewolf enclave where she learns the truth about her origins. She struggles to come to terms with it until events overtake her fears.
Neil Duran is the Alpha Four Enforcer for the Bryant Pack. His role is protecting Alexia, and he’s tasked with retrieving her from San Diego where she’s being stalked by another pack who want to abduct Alexia for the special abilities she possesses.
I highly recommend this book. If you have not read the prequel I suggest you read it first it is only a short story but you don’t have to.
I received an advance copy of this book. I am voluntarily giving my honest review.
This is a great read. The book moves at a great pace. Love of action and conflict. Well developed characters. And a great ending.
This story was awesome and the author knows how to draw you into her storytelling. The main characters were enthralling with the “will they or wont they” plot line, I would recommend this to everyone

I just loved this book. It was so well-written that it captured my mind and I was dragged along for the ride. Once I started reading I could not put it down until I read the last page.
I have read this author before with me coming out quite satisfied. With this one I was even more so maybe it is the times but certainly the characters helped. Oh too he could rescue me but alas he does have his hands full with present duties. Neil will have more than his hands full with Alexia especially since she is clueless in alot of what she is in the dark about. The two will have chemistry through the roof. This is also a wonderful start to a series. The interaction is not to be missed but so is the path that will come out of this too.
This is the first book I have read by this author but it will not be my last. The story is well written and it have three separate stories, the romance between Neil and Alexia, the unsolved murders, and finding unexpected family and her unique heritage. There is a lot happening in this story which revolves around a lot of danger which makes this a great read. It is a great story and I would highly recommend it.

It was on Booksprout that I discovered this title and its author. The summary having pleased me very much, I let myself be tempted by this ARC.
We are in a world where there are shifters and humans. In the Bit-Lit genre, one of my favorites.
I easily entered the story where I followed Alexia in her discovery of a world she did not know. I liked her very much because she has a strong character. She also has a flaw: she rushes headlong.
Neil seems impenetrable at first, a stubborn kind of guy, but we come to understand him little by little.
The only character who hasn’t convinced me is Erik.
There is no sex scene but, as I have said for other books, it doesn’t bother at all. Quite the contrary.
I was so immersed in the book that I read it almost in one go. I would have liked to know a little more, particulary on the “grade” that Alexia will have.
I will read the next book which will be with Jake. I just discovered that there is novella prequels which explains more certain things. I’ll see if I can find them (=> found it).
Great pacing and compelling characters. Exciting and emotional..
This was my first Addison Carmichael’s book. Knight is the first book in the Sons of the Alpha Series, a werewolf romance. I loved it. The story is suspenseful, action packed, and entertaining. The characters are great and intriguing. The storyline is filled with twists and turns. The world building is original and captivating. Valentina Ortiz did a wonderful job with the narration. I enjoyed it. I was given a free review copy of the audiobook at my request and have voluntarily left this review.
This is a thrilling action packed, page turner with secrets, lies, hate, betrayal with a well-deserved HEA. Even though an epilogue would have rounded the book off better and satisfied the reader sense of a HEA better, as it is right now it feels like something is missing. The characters are well developed and the plot and story line are filled with twists and turns and revelations and both Alexa and Neil grow as individuals as well as a couple. The authors portrayal of the supporting characters is excellent and supports and elevate the plot. I loved the book, excited to read the next.

I loved everything about this PNR from the alpha enforcer to the sassy woman who may or may not be a shifter herself. Neil and Alexia’s characters had me from the first written word to the last. Love the flow of the storyline makes this one a must read.

This is a well-paced book that will keep the reader interested from start to finish. The characters of Alexia Raine and Neil Duran are like oil and water which draws the reader deeper into their story. She doesn’t know her father or the fact she may be a werewolf. And Neil is told to go rescue her because another pack has plans for her that she will not appreciate. But somewhere along the line, her annoying attitude doesn’t feel as abrasive. Or maybe he is the one who is falling in love?
I enjoyed this book and look forward to reading more from this author! Grab your copy and enjoy the battle of wills!
I received an ARC from the author thru Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving my review. Neil and Alexia have the the type of attraction that is combustible. They are pulled together by a bond and at times they fight it, but when they give in it is another kind of explosion. He is following his orders to bring Alexia safely to the pack. His obstacles are another pack and Alexia herself. She has her whole world turned upside down and her beliefs shattered. The storyline was well written with lots of suspense, drama, danger, high heat and love. These two have to fight their way to their happy ending they never knew existed. I really enjoyed this book. It was hard to put down. I look forward to the next in the series

While I found this book to be entertaining, I will say that the female lead character was most definitely not one of my favorites. I do not understand why authors feel the need to make at least one of their lead characters so obnoxious, whiny and childish since it is not attractive on any level.

She never knew what she really was. Addison has always known she has a dark side and is afraid of it. But when Russians wolf shifters try to kidnap her and she is saved by two more wolf shifters and forced to go to the pack lands, she is furious. They say her real father is a wolf shifter and has special abilities and she does too. But she keeps insisting she’s 100% human and when they smell her they agree. But when she gets there and they do DNA testing, her heredity is even stranger. Now everyone wants her because she is the only human-were hybrid and because of her abilities. But it’s not only the were community who want her. There is another group who want her for more devious reasons, and the leader is closer than anyone thinks. **Note: I received an ARC that in no way influenced my honest review**
Romance novels are not generally the genre I read in, so I had a bit of trepidation going into this book. However, I do enjoy fantasy, and the werewolf aspect intrigued me so I decided to give it a try.
Pros:
The first line of “Knight” is definitely an attention grabber and compelling enough to keep avid readers of this genre turning the page.
There was plenty of action, and the story never felt like it slowed down or dragged – a fairly impressive feat given its length. In fact, the action scenes were the highlight of the story for me, especially the later parts from Alexia’s perspective, and it was interesting to follow her character development – there’s a bit of a twist on the beauty and the beast trope that was fun.
Alexia shines whenever she’s given the chance to act on her own without interference from the male characters and although some of her decisions are rather naïve, she has a strong sense of empathy and a willingness to help people that made her final choice in the story fairly believable.
For a novel that focused heavily on the attraction between the two main characters, I was pleasantly surprised by the lack of explicit intimate scenes, which added a nice bit of classiness to the story in my opinion.
There are some nice bonding moments and character beats between Alexia and several other key characters, and when certain twists are revealed in the climax I didn’t find myself at all struggling to remember who was who, and it was easy to comprehend how all the pieces clicked together.
Cons:
The story description paints Neil as the main character when really it’s Alexia, and I wish that would have been a little clearer in the summary, or that Neil would have had more viewpoint scenes. In that vein, I would have loved to have seen more of Neil’s background as a cop, as I found it difficult to connect to his irritation at being pulled off the job with the few scenes we did get relating to his role in the pack.
There was less emphasis on the mystery side of the story than I was hoping for, given my love of whodunnits and Agatha Christy, which I felt dampened the amount of underlying plot related tension “Knight” could have had.
The characterisation was a bit inconsistent, and given how much time Alexia and Neil spent antagonising each other, I had difficulty buying their attraction in the first half of the story. Also, the Alpha voice power seemed a tad too controlling and coercive for me, and I felt very sorry for Alexia whenever someone used it on her.
Some of the description – especially when setting scenes – was very nice, but the prose tended to get a little clunky when it surrounded dialogue.

Overall, if you’re a fan of the supernatural/romance genre, I think you’ll find this story interesting and cheer for Alexia as she overcomes her fears to understand who she really is.
Oh, and here’s my favourite line: “Alexia Raine may be small and compact, but so were five sticks of dynamite.”
