Absolutely Positively Amazing! Five ’s Worthy!
What can I say about this book? Well I can say this, it is AWESOME! It sucked me in before I had even finished the first chapter and it wouldn’t let me escape until I got to the end, which that ending man it sucked! Yes a cliffhanger I despise cliffhangers but luckily that just tells me that there’s more to come which I can not wait to get my hands on that book! First time reading anything by Riley Walker and I must say the authors that are Riley Walker definitely know how to weave very believable characters and realities that they seem so real! They moved themselves right up to the top of my number one favorite author list and I can hardly wait to read more of their work in the future!!
So yes I most definitely recommend this book to anyone who’s looking for a fantastic story to climb into and get lost in!
I loved this book. At first it does seem to be a little choppy with time jumps but once that’s over the character development and likeability is off the charts. I even found myself liking Winston. Okay who am I kidding Winston is my favorite. I couldn’t wait for the second book. They do leave you hanging but it’s so worth the read.
This was a great read, Chess is a great character, her “best friend” from home is an evil and jealous woman, and her betrothed is pig. I love the friends she makes at college and her Knight is sweet and super hot! Seriously the characters are great, they are funny, witty, flirty, quirky, and completely relatable. The story line is original and engrossing, I was sucked in right away, and couldn’t put the book down! I really love these authors and I can’t wait for book two!
Great debut novel for Riley Walker!
Great debut novel for Riley Walker! I loved the concept of this book and really enjoyed how the story unfolded throughout Book 1. We get to meet our MC and she has to deal with people she cares about stabbing her in the back and treating her horribly, all while being heir to the throne/princess. Thank goodness she has a fairy godmother in her life and who gives her a chance to escape her painful situation and experience college on Earth. Later we learn she is needed back at home, to help with the growing disturbance happening across her land and the surrounding territories. I enjoyed getting to know the MC and her friends and potential loves. I can’t wait to see what happens in Book 2 and who exactly is going to be in her harem, since its not 100% clear in Book 1. I like a book that isn’t predictable (there has been some of that with the RH genre booming recently) and has a fresh take on things, which this book definitely has. I see a lot of potential in Riley Walker and look forward to more books in this series!!
This book is awesome! I love the characters and I can’t wait to see what happens with Knight, the Prince and Rook! This book draws you in from the first chapter and keeps your interest throughout an leaves wanting more! Luckily book 2 is out now too!
