From the international bestselling author comes a story of two shattered souls trying to find love in the dark. It’s raw, unapologetic, and carnal. “Greed was my vice. A sin that led to my addiction.” Love was not an option for Nate. He didn’t want it. Didn’t claim it. Until her. I hid the monster from everyone, including myself. Emotions were firmly locked away. As much control as I had in my … were firmly locked away.
As much control as I had in my life, I could never control my heart.
Eva exposed me.
She begged and pleaded, and I swore I’d make her kneel.
And when she finally did,
I broke the only jewel I ever owned.
*This is a dark erotic romance with BDSM elements. Due to scenes of an adult nature, this book is for 18+ ONLY.

After reading a couple of Dani René’s book, I had to read more. So I jumped in and started with Kneel, book one from the Sins of Seven Series. All I can say is WOW! It’s dark and it’s dirty and it’s so much more than what I was expecting.
Nate is a dominant man, with a monster deep inside. He has control of everything, until he meets Eva – that’s when he loses control of the one thing he thought he could definitely keep controlled.
Eva wasn’t sure if any man could love her after what she’d been through. She walks into Seven Sins looking for a way to help herself. There she meets Nate. Could Nate be the one to change things for her?
If you’re looking for a tame romantic love story, this is not it. This is a dark, erotic tale with BDSM elements that is definitely not for the faint of heart, of how greed can consume you in different ways. I loved the darkness of this story and I’m now looking forward to getting my greedy little hands on book two in this series, Whisper and see what sin Dani René has us facing next.
I love dark romance and have read it extensively from one spectrum (light side) to the other (extremely dark). I have never read a dark romance that is so much more than just a dark read. It had me in tears, it had me on the edge of my seat and I truly respect the ability to show such compassion in a dark read. The book treats the characters and the lifestyle with more respect than I have ever seen. I can’t even begin to say how absolutely powerful this work of art is because it’s so much more than my expectations have ever been. The author truly sets the bar for what a dark read can and should be and makes it a journey you’ll want to go on over and over again. I look forward to more of this series.
Welcome to the dark, dirty and depraved world of Seven Sins. Here you’ll find a love story, just not the kind you’re used to. Dani Rene has brought us to a new level of BDSM with Kneel, the first book in her new Sins of Seven series.
Eva is a broken girl with a grueling past. She comes to Seven Sins looking for a way to unleash her demons. She wants the depravity and the humiliation. She begs to be used by him, for him to give her everything he can.
“He’s going to give me one last memory.
Pain.
Punishment.
Pleasure.”
Nate is a man who exudes confidence and sex appeal. He’s selfish and he owns it. He prides himself on being a monster without emotion. Until her. She finds what is beneath the suit and tie, what lies beyond the monster.
“You need someone who’ll calm your storm.
I need someone who’s going to dance in my f***ing hurricane.”
Dani is one of my favorite authors and she just gets better and better. She has a way of making sinful debauchery into exquisite art through her words. Kneel is brutal, carnal, and unapologetic. It is everything that makes up a dark romance, and then some.
Nate is a self-centered a**! He is alpha to the core and makes you crave his kind of love. He gripped ahold of my heart, yanked it out and stomped into the ground. After taking my emotions through the ringer, he offered back up the bloody mess with bits of him interwoven. There is no way to get him out now. He’s mine, go find your own book boyfriend. He is just so HOT!
Eva is so much stronger than I could ever hope to be. She may be a broken mess, but she doesn’t give up. She searches for a way to deal with her pain. With a past like hers it’s hard to imagine how she survived without becoming just a shell of a person. She has and deserves my respect for living through that hell.
I cannot wait for the next books in the Sins of Seven series. A little birdy may have mentioned that book two is in the editing stages. I may or may not have done a happy dance. Dani, I love your words and the way you draw me into your world of debauchery. Keep them coming girl! FIVE erotically broken stars!
Enjoyed the character development and the intrigue on both sides. Steamy read.
Note to author: This was a decent story but you used the word ‘taunt’ 34 times. It became distracting.
Really great romance novel.
Characters a little over the top but entertaining enough read
Loved it. Can’t wait to read rest of the series.
