One queen. Three suitors. A devious plot. Almost queen, Amara has never had time for romance – until she has to find a husband or forfeit the throne. With limited time on her hands and a cousin eager to usurp her, Amara sets her sights on a foreign prince. The second book in the ME Series it is a well-written story that I enjoyed reading. Amara is to be Queen and she has three men in her life the gardener’s son Carter, a foreign prince, Albert, and her childhood nemesis Vincent, as she has to marry who would it be had me turning pages. I found this to be a quick read. I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.
I liked this story, but don’t get the title that goes with the plot. I guess I expected one of them to be more towards a Dom like situation in the bedroom, but didn’t get any of that in the storyline. I did like how it was a modern day love story with the reverse harem and how Amara with the help of her lovers got her cousin! It was a good read and I do recommend you reading and yes it has a HEA.

Four and a half stars. This is a great story about Amara who is the Queen-to-be and her men. There is a law that she must be married to become the queen and her cousin wants the crown for herself and has set herself up to keep Amara from the throne. Of course, Amara is not going to sit back and wait for that to happen. It’s an unusual story and how she acquires her “harem” is different from the typical. This is well worth reading if for no other reason – it is original.

This is a shorter rh story that has the perfect blend of sweet and steam. There is also some suspense, danger, and excitement. The men are each very different, and connect with Amara in different ways, and together they make a wonderful trio of prince charmings. It’s a fantastic read!
One of my favorite standalone stories of Laura’s!
I really enjoyed this story by Laura Greenwood (I could have seen this being a whole series actually but totally understand Laura has so many amazing ideas they cant all be trilogies haha). I thought Laura did a great job on including the political and strict nature/behind the scenes of being a royal in this novella/short story. I liked Carter and Albert the best I think because we got to see the most time with them and totally loved how funny and surprisingly kinky Albert was hahaha. I loved the way the group got Margaret to stop stirring up trouble haha, taste of her own medicine. I couldn’t help but squeal and giggle with the epilogue, love HEAs
For the narration, I was kinda on the fence to be honest. I think it got better as the story went on, but the beginning was pretty rough for me. I had an issue with Nicole being monotone and her the lack of inflections. I think in the middle, she let loose for a couple chapters and it was great, but then went back to more of a monotone/no emotions or change in expressions. I would have given a higher rating if she had been consistent the whole way through (I was closer to giving a 2 stars but couldn’t do it). I did enjoy this story and the narration took away from it sometimes, but not enough to make me stop listening.
