My job as a SEAL has always been to go in and save the day.But even heroes fall. Even heroes make mistakes. My only saving grace was Gin Sullivan. My knock out best friend who wasn’t afraid to tell me the truth even when it hurt. She’d pick me up when I was wallowing in my own stupidity. It wasn’t hard for me to fall for her.Any man would. She was beautiful. She was smart. She was everything I’d ever … beautiful.
She was smart.
She was everything I’d ever wanted.
I had plans to tell her that, squash the pinning we’d both done for two years.
But a bullet to the gut silenced me and Gin got tired of waiting.
Now I have a new mission, one that I can’t fail:
Do whatever it takes to make Gin mine forever.

Dale and Gin’s chemistry is undeniable, but after two years of denying how they feel whats a girl to do but try to move on, when things go wrong and the only thing that Dale knows is he loves Gin and needs to make her his forever. all the emotions , and feels are in this book as truths are said, feelings are hurt, and bridges are repaired. will love find away for Dale and Gin?
I have devoured this entire series, it is so incredibly good! Chelle Bliss and Eden Butler weave some magic together and have created such a fantastic series that I cannot wait for book #4!
Kneel Down is the story of Dale Hunter and Gin Sullivan. These two were best friends, but Gin always had more feelings. She knew he was off limits though because he was married, that is until his wife leaves him. Gin helps him to pick up the pieces of course as any good friend would do.
Dale of course is now very guarded and he doesn’t want to jump into anything with anyone, but he starts to feel something more than friendship with Gin as time goes on. It wouldn’t be a romance novel without some bumps in the road, so of course things aren’t going to run completely smoothly for these two at first. We take quite the journey with Dale and Gin and I was left completely satisfied!
I loved seeing some of the secondary characters we have read about in the previous books. I love the writing style these two authors have together and while I’ve read many Chelle Bliss books. I have just purchased my first single read from Eden Butler because I obviously need some of her books in my life!
I absolutely suggest getting your hands on this series. You will definitely devour it like I did!
Gin wants one thing, Dale. While he was married she held her tongue. Now all this time later, in the midst of danger, he shows her that he wants her too. An attack, a bullet and a few misspoken words under the influence of anesthesia, then it all blows to hell.
A year goes by and Gin is building a new life. He has not forgotten her and he wants her not to forget him.
So many missed moments, misunderstandings and missed opportunities get in their way. But there is always hope even when you think it is hopeless.
This couple is a firestorm when they get out of their own way. The scenes are both a treat and a heartbreak. You will find yourself altering between cheering them on, being angry at one or the other and being so sad when they fail to communicate. Thank goodness there is a happily ever after!
AHHH! I’ve been waiting for this book and boy it didn’t disappoint! Chelle Bliss and Eden Butler write so seamlessly together and their stories are fire!!!
Dale and Gin definitely gave you all the feels. The emotions I went through were exhausting but it was totally worth it. These two were made for one another and the chemistry burned the pages but with the constant misunderstandings or the words that weren’t said took a toll on my emotions. I wanted to scream and I love that Chelle and Eden were able to pull that strong emotion from me!
I love how this story was definitely different from the other two and I’m impatiently waiting for Johnny’s story!!!
This is the third book in the series. We finally get Dale and Gins story. It was actually a very romantic story in that we got to see flashbacks of their journey from friends to lovers. They are a great couple and the obstacles and misunderstandings are not contrived but rather the whole story felt organic. I thoroughly enjoyed their romance.
The chemistry in this book is off the charts! Dale and Gin are so great together! I loved watching them in the previous books, and I loved that they got their own story! There were times I felt like I wanted to shake Gin, but it was all part of the journey – and it was perfect! Great story with great characters! FIVE STARS!!
Favorite Quote:
Words always get in the way. They did. Somehow, it was the words we didn’t say that injured the most. It was the silence that kept us from what we want.
My Review:
I struggled to finish this one, not that the book was bad, it just wasn’t aligned with or palatable to my personal taste as constant conflict just isn’t my jam. The angsty storylines were missing the critical element of wit and levity that I had come to expect from these talented authors and instead appeared to be a repetitive cycle of 90% conflict, reticence, and forfeiture. I also failed to connect with the painfully stubborn and annoying morose characters, I found them exasperating. However, for readers who have a proclivity for angsty and quarrelsome tales with a few sizzling scenes of hot steamy sex, this would be a quick and tasty treat.
Chelle has done it again! I’ve read all three books in this series and Kneel Down is definitely my favorite. I really loved getting to see the other characters too.
This book will definitely bring out all of your emotions. I love when a book gives me all the feels and this one definitely did. I felt everything that Dale and Gin were feeling. This was an amazing story about friendship, heartbreak, and love. I definitely recommend you read it.
5 amazing stars!
Total hotness. I know Kneel Down could be read as a stand alone and it was the first in this series for me, however you may want to read the others just so you are familiar with the characters that appear in this book. I loved Gin and Dale. My heart broke for them. When they get together, especially in the first few pages, they will burn up your e reader. I will definitely read the other stories in this series and re-read Gin and Dales story.
This is the third book in the Nailed Down series, however, it can absolutely be read on a stand alone basis.
Kneel Down was quite a quick read but I have to say, I did enjoy it and I think that this was my favourite of the series so far. The story flowed well and it was lovely and fast paced so it kept my attention throughout. I can’t say that I really felt connected to the characters but they were likeable and I did find myself routing for them albeit, I could have bashed their heads together a time or two. Overall a nice easy read and I really look forward to more from this series.
I was provided with a copy of this book from the Publisher; there was no inducement or obligation and I have opted to leave a review.
This is the third book in the series. I would recommend reading Nailed Down and Tied Down first before reading this one. Dale and Gin had me swooning. An emotional, sexy, page turner. I can’t get enough. And I can’t wait for the next one. If you love Chelle and Eden like I do, you absolutely have to read this! And if you haven’t then you must! Chelle and Eden never disappoint.
Another awesome read in this set! This book is about Dale and Gin and their journey.
Possible SPOILERS
Dale want Gin but every time they take a step in the right direction someone or something seems to make things go in wrong direction really quickly causing him to loose Gin.
Gin has decided that she can’t stay around anymore it’s too hurtful….so she takes a job in New York but little does she know that she is about to have unexpected company.
After getting shot and on heavy meds Dale says some things to his ex-wife in front of Gin that he doesn’t remember but when he’s told he’s so sorry…he also can’t remember some of the events before or during the shooting which also causes problems for him.
Gin & Dale need to fully work themselves out so they can move forward in life…..either together or apart.
Dale is one hot sexy complicated man. Gin is one free spirited loving complicated woman. They make for one sexy complicated fierce loyal loving friends. They have both want more from each other for a long time. Loved all the feels in this moving story.
Chelle Bliss and Eden Butler have clearly found their writing groove with Kneel Down. The 3rd in the Nailed Down series is definitely the best thus far and I was completely wrapped up the angst-filled love story that is Gin and Dale. These two best friends are most definitely feeling more for the other and through some miscommunication and more than a few misunderstandings, not to mention unfortunate circumstances, they almost miss out on what would ultimately be, one beautiful romance.
There is more than enough push and pull from both Gin and Dale with a world of hurt between them that Dale is having a hard time coming to grips with. That poor guy put his life on the line for his good friends, and in the process lost the only woman who had ever truly meant something to him.
Although this story keeps Dale and Gin apart much of the time, which in some books would drive me crazy, this aspect was executed perfectly by Bliss and Butler. We get past and present and explanations as to why Gin had to leave with a broken heart, with Dale seemingly puzzled by his bestie’s actions. But it’s tied together really well as touching memories finally come to light that bring about that ‘a-ha’ moment for both of them.
Both Gin and Dale are great characters, and I was rooting for them to put me out of my misery and finally find their way back to each other, even if that could only be as friends. There is a indisputable heat between Gin and Dale that gave this book the sexy it needed and the passion in each others’s eyes only fueled the fire between them. It’s damn HOT!
The entire Nailed Down crew is present and accounted for and are very important to this current story. A secondary character who turned out to be very endearing instead of a threat to Gin and Dale’s happiness gets his story told next and I am really looking forward to that one.
Really well down, Bliss and Butler gave their all with Kneel Down and I happily give it a big 5 stars!
Kneel Down
Chelle Bliss & Eden Butler
Kneel Down is the third book in this series. And let me tell you, the chemistry in this one is off the charts!!!
Dale and Gin are best friends. Can a man and a woman be best friends? They pull it off until things change. Dale is married when they meet and he is loyal to a fault. So yes, they can be friends. After Dale’s divorce there should be nothing standing in their way, except that Dale is a man and can’t seem to express himself the way Gin needs to hear. And just when he might get his head in the right place, he can’t remember what happened. But Gin is just as stubborn and won’t hear Dale out.
I loved to hate the situation these two find themselves in. Dale is trying to open up to Gin but she has a wall up when it comes to him. I just wanted to shake them both at times. Throughout this book things aren’t always as they seem. Dale and Gin just need to look beyond what they think.
Kneeled Down was amazing!! I loved the tension between Dale & Gin. The story was full of misunderstandings and anger but the outcome was long over due. I am so excited for book 4 and Johnny!!!
Kneel Down is the third book in The Nailed Down series and by far the most angsty of them all. Dale and Gin’s story had me so on edge that I felt like I was going to crawl out of my skin. Theirs was a story that did more than captivate you, this book reached in and literally held you hostage to the pages and the words contained within. A story that was about love being more than words, it was showing us that sometimes actions were just as important if not more so. Kneel Down was a story that intoxicated me and had me reeling from all the emotions it wrenched from within. Both Dale and Gin will at times frustrate you no end but take the journey with these two as the end result will be so worthwhile.
I loved Dale.
Navy Seal,loyal,protective and sexy.
He’s the strong silent type.
Especially after Trudy.
Gin is beautiful and strong.
She’s Dale’s best friend.
But also has loved him from afar.
With Trudy gone she thinks now is their chance.
Their friends relationship is really solid.
Both know the other like the back of their hand.
But when it came the love part of their relationship they sucked.
Their lack of communication drove me crazy.
Their attraction for one another is so palpable.
And can be felt sizzling off the pages.
They are hot together but also a hot mess.
I enjoyed reading Dale and Gin’s story and seeing them finally overcome the obstacles they put in their own way and the outside forces working against them.
Kneel Down is the third book in the Nailed down series and is Dale and Gin’s story. Dale and Gin are best friends, even though Gin has loved him forever! When Dale’s wife leaves him Gin is there to pick up the pieces and help him through. They grow closer until their friendship and future is tested. Will they ever get their happily ever after? There’s a lot of miscommunication in this book that makes you want to shake them at times but you know they are meant to be together! I loved this book! I can’t wait for Johnny’s book!!
