My job as a SEAL has always been to go in and save the day.But even heroes fall. Even heroes make mistakes. My only saving grace was Gin Sullivan. My knock out best friend who wasn’t afraid to tell me the truth even when it hurt. She’d pick me up when I was wallowing in my own stupidity. It wasn’t hard for me to fall for her.Any man would. She was beautiful. She was smart. She was everything I’d ever … beautiful.
She was smart.
She was everything I’d ever wanted.
I had plans to tell her that, squash the pinning we’d both done for two years.
But a bullet to the gut silenced me and Gin got tired of waiting.
Now I have a new mission, one that I can’t fail:
Do whatever it takes to make Gin mine forever.

Man oh man Chelle Bliss and Eden Butler did it again. They brought us such a wonderful story. Now let me start by saying there was a couple of times I got so mad at Gin I had to put the book down. I do not know why I did not get mad at Dale but I didn’t. I understood where Gin was coming from but I also felt she was not being very understanding when it came to the whole situation when it came to Dale, but that is just me.
Now saying all that let me say I did love Gin. She was this fiery redhead that was full of sass and attitude but along with that was a woman with a lot of passion. She truly was a caring person.
Dale was very hot and sexy. I think he was your typical man that had served, meaning he had a hard time expressing his feelings. But I feel when he fell he fell hard. He was loyal to the fault. Someone that you would want on your side and someone you would never want to be on his bad side.
I have to say I did not know how I felt about Johnny Carelli but by the end of the book I will say I came to find finally conclusion about him. Sorry I will not tell you my final thoughts on him because I do not want to give to much away.
This was truly an amazing story and so happy I got a chance to read the book.
Kneel Down is the third book of the Nailed Down series. I love when Chelle Bliss and Eden Butler write together! Gin and Dale were best friends which turned in to much more, but these two are the poster children for miscommunication. This book is funny, intriguing and has a great pace. I was frustrated with the back and forth with these two, but that is what made it a page-turner! Loved it!!
This is the 3rd book of this series and they just keep getting better. When ever I seem to be in a funk and not sure what to read I always pick up a book by Chelle Bliss and I’m out of my funk. This book will be added to some of my favorites by Chelle. I do recommend this.
This story had a wonderful flow to it. It never lagged in the writing.
This is the 3rd book in the series and is a friend to lovers/ second chance romance. I highly enjoyed this emotionally charged, chemistry fueled book. Can’t wait to read the next one by Chelle and Eden, they definitely create magic together.
Kneel Down is about two friends who have an undeniable chemistry. Gin and Dale’s story will take you on an emotional roller coaster ride. I love the combination of angst and a sexy storyline. This story went beyond my expectations. This is another example that Chelle Bliss and Eden Butler make an awesome writing team. Kneel Down is book #3 in the Nailed Down series and can be read as a stand-alone if you like. But I would recommend reading book #1 Nailed Down and Book #2 Tied Down. They are also really good stories in their own way.
Kneel Down is the first book from this series but not my first book by Chelle Bliss. I loved reading Dale and Gin story. I found it to be a great friends to lovers romance.
Kneel Down is the 3rd book in the Nailed Down Series.
I love it when these 2 authors get together to write a book.
Kneel Down is Dale Hunter and Gin Sullivan’s story. Gin was Dale’s best friend. She knew that he was off limits because he was married. Gin helped Dale pick up the pieces after Trudy his wife left him, things heated up between them. Then Trudy is back or so Gin thinks. She just can’t trust the relationship between herself and Dale. (that part drove me a little crazy) I also was torn between Dale and Johnny because it seemed like both wanted Gin.
#1 Nailed Down – Kane and Kit
#2 Tied Down – Kiel and Cara
#3 Kneel Down – Dale and Gin
#4 Will be Johnny’s story.
As always, I love reading Chelle Bliss’s books. Note to self, I need to read more of Eden Butler’s books. I can’t wait to read Johnny’s story and that book is next!
This book was an enjoyable read. It kept me intrigued right from the start and I read it fairly quickly. I have been waiting for the story between these two since the start of this series and am so happy they finally got their go. I could feel their tension through the first two books whenever their characters popped up. I found this book to be on the emotional side and also hold a little bit of angst.
I am really looking forward to reading the next book in this series as well. This author duo does an exceptional job with this series and have created something that I love! Can’t wait for more
I’ve been dying to read this book as I absolutely loved Dale and Ginny from the previous books in the series. It didn’t disappoint!
A hot read that will keep you gripped from the first page to the last – these characters are just meant to be together, but they can’t make their minds up.
Dale is very much the alpha male – he’s so protective of Ginny and is what every girl wants in her life.
Can’t wait for the next book in the series from these authors – their writing really works well together.
An angsty romance that’ll have you fighting for a second chance at love. The story starts out with an intense action scene, followed by all the drama you can handle. Gin and Dale won my heart with their amazing journey.
Love is such an intense, all encompassing, oftentimes convoluted emotion. This story speaks to that wholeheartedly. After a traumatic event, words are uttered that change the course of a bond that had potential for so much more. Being a hardened Navy Seal worked for Dale in all other aspects of his life, but did nothing to help rekindle a friendship with Gin that had long since been lost. The waiting game in love coupled with miscommunication and misplaced anger is the base for this tale. Well written with such sass and passion that will keep you blushing and smirking. Chelle and Eden have written their heartache in such a way that you can’t help but have hope the pair figures things out. I found myself routing for them to sort all the pieces and fix the puzzle. Good read and looking forward to what’s next!
Men are quite literally stupid. Seriously. Ever just wanna smack him upside his head – “Dude, what the Hell are you waiting for?” Had a few moments like this while reading about Dale’s and Gin’s story.
Gin is such a strong, ball busting woman. Love her!
Dale….. my my my Dale. He’s pretty delish with a quiet, observing vibe, but looks that’ll melt panties.
Absolutely loved the story and want to read more about these characters that don’t quite fit, but are perfectly matched
I loved these characters. Not just Gin and Dale but all the other character who have come before and will be coming after I am sure.
Chelle and Eden have created a world that include friends who have made their own family despite circumstances that could have made these characters be the complete 360 of what these ladies have created.
I am excited for Johnny to get a story because I think he is the man with the most issues.
Having read books 1 & 2 of the “Nailed Down” series, I was a little familiar with Dale and “Gin” and was glad to read their story.
This is one of those books that I started out LOVING, then wanted to strangle both protagonists for their lack of communication and finished with a satisfied sigh. I definitely enjoyed the journey. The characters in this story are, for the most part, light and breezy to read. Each has their own baggage and bring angst to the table, but neither is overly complicated (they’d like to think they are) and watching them navigate their way through the change in their relationship was cool to witness.
These authors co-write in a seamless way. I’m not sure if they write alternate POV’s or collaborate together or how their writing process works, but I can never tell who is writing what. It is all in the same “voice” which is not always the case when I’ve read multiple author written stories before.
I recommend this series and while I think it would be a fuller reading experience read in order, you won’t feel left out if you start with KNEEL DOWN.
Gin and Dale have been friends for a long time. Gin has always had deeper feelings for Dale but does he has feelings for her. One day something happens and Gin has sworn him off for good. Dale on the other hand has other plans when it comes to Gin. Will they be able to reconcile their friendship/budding relationship or will it just stay in the past.
I really loved this book. I was hoping that they got their own story. I loved how strong both of them were and how Dale didn’t give up on what he wanted. I can say his ex was definitely a piece of work. I loved how Gin was so strong but was vulnerable at the same time. I was very surprised by the ending and I wanted more of their story.
I devoured this book in one sitting. Gin and Dale will take you on an emotional rollercoaster. The chemistry was off the charts and will steam up your kindle. Their story was beautiful and emotional and hot with a capital H. The writing is smooth, the story engaging and this collaboration is flawless.
I was hooked from the first sentence, though the story slowed a bit in the middle. Then it picked up again and my heart was racing waiting to see how the story played out. Even with their lack of communication, Dale and Gin had good chemistry and worked well together. The story flowed well, and overall the pace was good. I found this to be a very satisfying read.
Dale and Gin!! I loved this couple. This couple has so much chemistry that you can’t help fall for them. They have been friends and Gin wants Dale to see her as more, once he does it’s just not really how everyone thought it would go. I yelled at my kindle several times hoping the characters would listen, you know how that goes!!! Loved this story!!! Love the series!!
This is book 3 in the Nailed Down series and has to be my absolute favourite so far! I’m a sucker for a bit of angst and boy did this have it. Gin and Dale most certainly put me through the ringer along with all the emotions and I lived for every second of it.
Chelle Bliss and Eden Butler in their own right are amazing authors but together their work is phenomenal, completely flawless. I couldn’t tell in any way who wrote what parts!
I’m super excited to see what’s next from these two.
Love this series. I was so excited to get Gin’s story. I love all the characters. I love the chemistry and the bond they share. Dale and Gin maybe my favorite couple from this series. They definitely had to work for it. Can’t wait for more of this series. These two authors know how to suck you in and keep you there til the end. The problem with that? I WANT MORE. SO MUH MORE!
