Everyone knows the rules of friendship, right? Rule #1: Don’t kiss your best friend. Rule #2: Don’t have sex with your best friend. Rule #3: Don’t pretend like it didn’t happen the next day. Bailey Renshaw is my best friend. Kind. Sweet as a peach, and so beautiful it should be a crime. Since we were kids I’ve wanted her, and one time when we were nothing more than teenagers I kissed her. It was … nothing more than teenagers I kissed her. It was the first mistake I ever made in our friendship. Giving her my heart and hoping she felt the same were my second and third.
That night she broke me, ripped my heart out of my chest and stomped on it. Anyone else would’ve hated her for it, but it only made me value her more, and realize that I would do anything I could to keep her in my life even if it was only as a friend and nothing more.
As a permanent resident of the friend zone, I promised myself that I would never cross that line again no matter how badly I wanted to, and I wanted to, badly.
Every time she smiled at me, licked her pink lips, or flashed her doe eyes my way I came a little closer to breaking the rules again… but I didn’t. I couldn’t do that to us. Until one night when we decided to break the rules together.
One Earth shattering night together and I knew nothing would ever be the same.
Friends, or lovers? I don’t know what we are anymore. The rules no longer apply to us.
Now the only question is, can we fix what we had before it’s too late or is our friendship over for good? And all because of one single kiss?
**Complete standalone with a happily ever after. Don’t miss out on all the gooey goodness this book has to offer.**

My first thought as I was reading this was Nooooooo!! dont do it, you are going to ruin your friendship!! I was screaming on the inside whilst secretly hoping I was wrong wrong wrong!!
I had to chuckle at the denial and worry they both shared, even though I felt it too. They are like two peas of a pod.
The tender moments they shared had me sighing happily, my mind racing ahead, silently praying for them.
I completely and utterly fell in love with both Bailey and Elijah. They are the perfect couple even if they dont know it.
This is a swoon worthy read from start to finish and I loved every second of it.
C.Hallman and J.L Beck are a fantastic duo and I for one always get excited when I hear of a new release no matter what pen name it’s under.
This starts off with a bang right from the start. We get to see how Bailey feels and we get Elijah’s side as well. Best friends that keep fighting their attraction towards each other but at finally at a place that they can’t wait anymore. I had a hard time understanding how they were friends though because they didn’t know some things about each other. However, their attraction and connection was there. There was lots of miscommunication with them which would explain why they waited so long to finally give in. Really enjoyed this and can’t wait to see what more this duo can do. I already read their more darker writings so this was a breath of fresh air.
The storyline was good and the characters were so well created that made this book a very enjoyable read!
Wow! Loved this story.. the emotions they were going through was powerful. I so loved this book and I want and need more. It’s hard not to read you books.
This is not the type of book I’m used to from these authors BUT I freaking loved it. It’s a cute read. I really enjoyed reading their story!
Super Sweet Story!
This is an absolutely super sweet and lovely story about two best friends who have always loved each other but didn’t realize that they could also be more than friends. Their story made my heart ache at times but it also made me love them more. I completely and utterly fell in love with Bailey and Elijah. Their friendship and love for each other is beyond words. I was cheering for them right from the start.
This amazing author duo write with such passion and feeling that we as readers feel such love, compassion or utter hatred for their characters. I love reading every one of their stories and I can’t wait for more.
A best friends to lovers romance read that will give you the feels from start to finish. Bailey and Elijah chemistry just sizzles and It was so hot to see their love blossom to more than friends. I loved the drama and the start throughout the storyline. If you want to fall in love with love than this is a one click for you.
Angstville USA. Two friends who both want more but are afraid the friendship will change things. Dah! Yes, it will change things; it will make it better and stronger! Angst and poor communication fuels the fires between these two lovers! I felt empathy for Elijah and his exploitive father. Glad his mother cleaned her act up and her previous greed. There are villains behind the scenes adding to a tenuous situation between the two main characters. See who it is, and what goes down.
I absolutely loved Bailey and Elijah’s story! It was a well written, fast paced story with fantastic characters! There were twists that keep you on your toes. Elijah and Bailey have different ideas about relationships, but their chemistry was off the charts! I loved this book and would recommend it to everyone!
Oh my Gods, there is so much to love about this book. It’s friends to lovers, but it has quite a few secrets in it. Bailey and Elijah have known each other since they were kids. Been best friends most of their lives.
It take one night for that to change. But Elijah being a bit of a manwhore, Bailey knows it’s only one night. But, when it’s something that neither can forget their relationship changes again.
Fro, the start there are no promises because Elijah has a certified relationship phobia. He can’t be in one. Never has, never will his words. Not even for his best friend Bailey, the only girl he’s ever loved in his life.
Bailey is willing to have him in whatever capacity she can get him. But jealousies are strong with both of them and it puts a bit of strain on them. When the past comes calling things get even more complicated for the two.
To say that Elijah is messed up in some aspect is not understatement. He has his reasons he is the way he is. But secrets are killer, and the ones they keep could be the end of them.
I really enjoy friends to lovers romance, so I expected to like Kissing & Telling by Jenna Reed. I didn’t like it, I LOVED it!!
It’s the story of Bailey and Elijah, best friends since kindergarten. That is until Bailey decides to go big on her 21st birthday. Elijah, a big time player, can’t believe his luck but is so afraid of ruining their friendship. I absolutely loved these two characters. Elijah is so dirty talking and swoony, it’s hard not for him to become a BBF.
This book has the perfect mix of angst, hot and steamy sexy times and witty banter. I highly recommend this book if friends to lovers is your jam!
After a kiss in high school by two best friends they decide they’re better off staying friends. Elijah is the hot jock in school with the quiet and shy best friend that secretly has the hots for him but also he has strong feelings for her as well but because of things that he’s been through he is not going to settle down and is determined to never give his heart to anyone that could destroy him the way that his mother did. Years later they are working together and still best friends but things start to change when Elijah’s feelings start growing even more possessive towards Bailey. Hey come up with a plan of being best friends with benefits but we all know how that works out this is an emotional emotional story between everybody. Also the drama in Elijah’s family comes out full force in trying to destroy Elijah and Bailey’s growing relationship but Elijah is determined to not ever lose Bailey in any way and finally realizes what he needs to do in the end we left with a heart-warming story of true love I enjoyed this book fully
Kissing & Telling is a friends to lovers romance with all the swoon and all the passion.
This book is the first book that JL Beck and C Hallman have written under the pen name Jenna Reed. It is steamy and suspenseful. Sweet and intense.
Elijah and Bailey had struggles with their relationship but they fought through them in the end. They were scared to push their relationship further than the friends level because of obvious reasons. They NEEDED each other in their lives and they were scared that a relationship would ruin everything.
I always enjoy Josi and Cassy’s writing. This story was no different!
This is the first novel in a new series from this gifted duo, and what a fantastic introduction Bailey and Elijah’s story is. This is a beautiful written emotional roller coaster from the very beginning. This is a heart-wrenching read which has a couple who move on from friends / lovers, and a past that comes back to haunt them, as well as having many obstacles to overcome. I was totally captivated throughout this addictive page turner, and I highly recommend for all readers.
Oh what a night and a beautiful story. Bailey and Elijah are this amazing couple with chemistry coming out of their ears. This is a extremely well written story that has you grinning from ear to ear as it is incredibly sweet. It makes you happy to have read it. The writing is superb and the personalities of the characters are felt throughout the story as if you are right there looking in. It has a HEA that you just love. It makes you jealous of their love for each other. This is one story that must be read as it will not disappoint.
SWEET with a Bite of Spice!
It’s awe so sweet with a bite of heat and an after taste on the sour side is definitely the best way to describe this amazing read that had me nibbling at my nails and throwing out exploits and talking to the characters and telling them to man up and do it all ready. This writing duo continues to keep me engrossed with their fantastic stories and this one is just another notch to add to their brilliant writing capabilities. Frustrating nail-biting suspense, sweet, hot, emotionally engaging and an ending that brings out a satisfied smile.
Jenna Reed put the perfect suspense of sensual tension in a very well written friends-to-lovers romance. Kissing & Telling balanced sweet, steamy, angsty and emotional brilliantly.
First of all, I decided to review this book just by looking at the cover. Call me crazy, but it’s the truth and I did not make a mistake. Elijah and Bailey could not have been more different yet they have been best friends since forever. Elijah is the bad boy, the player, the sexy manwhore who makes every woman weak at her knees. And Bailey is the sweet, quiet, nerdy and soft hearted girl. She wanted Elijah to be her first as he owns her heart. And Elijah always draws a line between them as he does not deem himself worthy of her. But a one night stand is going to change it all. Do they forget and ignore this unforgettable night? Can they go back to be friends? Will they lose the most precious things in their lives? Buckle up as the ride is going to get a lot bumpy.
I loved how the authors twisted and did a refreshing take on traditional friends to lovers romance. They have so much unsaid feelings and it was a hell to resolve them. The heartbreak was real and believable. The authors did not let them an easy way out. The couple had to go through the messy, nerve wrecking, heartaching and intense emotions before falling in love. I could identify with them instantly. They made mistakes. The push and pull was driving me crazy. And let’s talk about the chemistry. Oh wow it was just sizzling hot and explosive.
If you are looking for a swoony, sexy and sinfully romantic love story; Kissing & Telling by Jenna Reed is perfect for you!
Received ARC for Honest review
