When a bet pushes these two together it’s fire and ice … and Charlotte is melting. Fast. But Charlotte has a chip on her shoulder. She doesn’t believe that fairy tales exist in the real world.
One kiss tells her this is a bad idea.
Two kisses tells her he’s too good to be true.
Three kisses and she’s royally screwed.
Spencer Beckett might be everyone else’s Prince Charming but can he sweep this princess off her feet?

This was a good read. Be prepared though, this DOES end on a cliffhanger. I don’t have a problem with them when I know upfront that a book is going to be a part of a series. The writing flows well, and I liked Spencer and Charlie together. Everything else is pretty drama filled. Spencer is rich, and his friends and family hate that he’s dating a poor girl. Charlie’s best guy friend wanted to be more than friends, and her roommate seems a little psycho. This story is very much YA, so if that’s not your thing, you might want to skip this one. Like I said I do like Spencer and Charlie together, but I would like for them to be stronger over all. Charlie runs every time something goes wrong instead of standing up for herself. Spencer should have told Prescott and Winslow to go away. It will be interesting to see how their story plays out over the next 2 books.
I voluntarliy reviewed an advanced readers copy of this book.
So this book was interesting.. You have a rich playboy who is handled everything in life. There’s more to him then you think. He’s hurting. He’s vulnerable. Meeting Charlie makes him change his whole attitude. His life was planned out for him but now he’s starting to see things differently. The blinders have come off. His friends are snobby jerks. I hate them so much especially Prescott.
Charlie, sweet Charlie. Her life is much different. She’s had to deal with a lot in life. Her dad works hard while her mom is struggling with MS. She’s a smart student with a good head on her shoulders. She’s loyal, always trying to see the good in people. This happens with Spencer. He has a reputation and people warn her to star away from him. She doesn’t listen though. She sees the good in him. This book has romance, friendship, a crazy ex girlfriend still holding on and little bit of mystery. This was a good read for me. I enjoyed and can’t wait until the next one comes out!
