A good read about love and disaster! A younger sister finds a prince but is too young for love right now. the next older sister finds love with the new doctor. Trying times tear them all apart. Scary situations and several injuries later love prevails for one of the sisters. The series continues to entertain!
The book was cute…but being so short….you really didn’t get to know the characters and I would have loved to have done that as I was able to in the first two books in this series. Still the whole series was fun to read…and light, happy reading…
This whole 5 book series is great! You don’t have to, but it’s more fun if you read the books in order. The Easton Girls’ adventures put Pauline’s Perils to shame!
Sweet love story. I enjoyed reading about some of the hazards of living one’s life.
I love the way these characters came together regardless of their status…they thought. Beautifully written
Even though this is book 4 of the series I wasn’t lost. I’ve only read book 3 of this series and it does have the cross over character’s from the previous books. I do have books 1 & 2 on my wish list hoping for a sale.
The H falls very fast for the h but it took her longer. This has really two stories, the other includes the younger sister and a Prince. You could feel a connection even though the sister is almost 16 and the Prince 19 and only together for a little time. Their story has already been released and hope to read it soon if on sale. Not that these are not worth the price, they are, but I read about a book a day or. In 1 1/2 days and don’t feel like going without food -lol.
This story was filled with family love and support, which warmed my heart. We are also treated to suspense, murder, tad of violence, twists and love.
Lovemaking within marriage, described once, heat level 2 out of 5.
No cheating, no cliffhanger, some romance, HEA, and tad of spice. (ljb)
4 Stars! Kissed at Twilight by Miriam Minger
I loved Linette and Adam’s adventurous story to find the love of dreams. This story is well written, entertaining, with great characters and a witty plot and dialogue! It also kicked off Estelle and the mysterious Prince Valentin’s story who came out of hiding risking his own life to save Estelle from drowning. I’m looking forward to the next book in this series!
England 1819 Every young lady wants to find an everlasting love with a man that sweeps her off her feet. Linette had witnessed her two older sisters find their husbands who were men of the peerage at that! As a parson’s daughters it was all really remarkable and hope sprang eternal! Getting ready for her season in London and with dreams and stars in her eyes, she least expects to possibly find that man right in front of her!
When her sister has a terrible mishap, the new doctor in town comes and Linette cannot take her eyes off him. But it goes both ways with him being mesmerized by her! A fated meeting and a strong mutual attraction. But wait! She has her season in London soon and intends to find the perfect man to be her husband. But has she already found him?
The author weaved a tale with a wonderful cast of characters, some that had been in the previous books. Loved Estelle, her younger sister and her wonderful dog Luther! Looking forward to her story which I hope is next!
A marvelous addition to delightful series that I highly recommend. Although you can read this as a standalone book, I have to recommend you read them all!
Linnette finds the man of her dreams without venturing to London just like her big sister. Adam like Donovan is at odds with his father. There is still adventure abound in Portleven and the family is always in the middle of it. Another resounding success that you will want to grab for a quick read.
Donovan and Corie’s book is better.
This book is classic Regency romance. Characters that are bland and agreeable. Unrealistic melodrama happens and the characters get married. It would have been nice if the whole book would have taken place after the climax. Keep Estelle’s story to the events before the climax then Lisette’s is at Arundale. All the action would have already happened and the budding relationship could have been the complete focus of the story.
Lost interest. Didn’t finish.
