Just when Leo and I finally find our rhythm, my life turns upside down and I need to go home. Grief blindsides me, and I’m lost. Living halfway across the country from your new boyfriend is misery when you need him to be there with you, helping to ease the pain of your loss. Add in the drama-stirring Ella who makes me doubt Leo, myself, and our relationship, and I’m a mess.My best friends show … mess.
My best friends show up, insisting I come back to Shell Beach. I know I’ve wallowed long enough, but am I ready to face all the drama that awaits me there?
You need to read book 1, Kiss This, before reading book 2, Kiss This Too, or you’ll be completely lost.

Young Adult insn’t generally my favourite genre when it comes to romance, but I thoughly enjoyed both books in this duet.
Kiss This, the first title in the duet, ends with a cliffhanger, and Kiss This Too picks up just before the conclusion of the first book.
This title is an emotional story of friendship, family, grief and young love.
There were a few twists and turns that I didn’t anticipate and I was enthralled from start to finish.
Sassy, Angsty, Heart Wrenching & Romantic!!
This was such a fitting end to the ‘Kiss This Duet’
Jillie came out stronger through her grief, although she’s still a shattered Daddy’s girl inside!! Her Eulogy had me sobbing, much of the story, related to her Dad, did if I’m honest!! It was written so beautifully & so full of the emotions I felt around losing my own Dad, it resonated with amazing truth f
Leo, Isla, Audrey, Elan and even Brent & Carlos are total rocks for her throughout this time!! Her Aunt Ruthie is a solid & loving parental role for her to rely & lean on. The relationship between her & Leo seems completely cemented & on track, especially after her return from Wisconsin. Ella/Ellen has more up her spiteful, vile sleeve though, so it’s not the smooth ride we’d all hope!
There are some surprises in store, truths told & blackmail is on the cards! Its all written extremely well, the angst is real & handled cleverly Its pretty darn steamy for a YA but at my age I’m absolutely fine with that! They are ‘safe’ & in love, it’s handled well
Another fabulously explosive read

Such an emotional end to the first book of this duet, it set the bar high for this book and as always Anne has flown straight over it. I love Jillie and Leos story it has everything you need for a romance story and then some.
Again another book by Anne, I love.

Kiss This Too, the second book in the Kiss duet by Anne Mercier is another emotional, funny, romantic, heartbreaking and healing story to wrap this series up.
This book is not only about Jillie and Leo’s story. There are so many layers to this story that I went away with. Friendships, family, love, hate, trust, and grieving are just the tips of the iceberg with this one. The bonus is Jillie and Leo’s story. Do they have what it takes to survive such devastation and distance? Or, will the continued drama be their end-all? How many punches can one teenager handle?
I absolutely loved this duet. Moved along too fast for me because I didn’t want it to end.
This is the second book in this phenomenal duet, and “Kiss This” must be read first. This is a continuation of Leo and Jillie’s story and what an emotional roller coaster journey this is. This story is told dual POV which is my favourite, and is filled with drama, love, and is a sweet and entertaining read. I cannot wait to read more from this talented author whose work I highly recommend for all.
All The Angst This was everything I’d expect of a great YA romance. Drama, young love, a little steam and some humor thrown in for good measure. Jillie and Leo find their relationship tested much harder than I’m sure either ever expected. And of course it’s at the hands of the ever present Ella (Ellen lol). But neither are the type to go down without a fight and with friends as loyal as theirs Ellen doesn’t stand a chance. Anne threw some delicious plot twists at us with this one. I couldn’t read it fast enough because I had to know what was going to happen next. One of my favorite YA reads. Would love to maybe see some of the other supporting characters get a story of their own and in the process give us more of Jillie and Leo. *wink wink* *nudge nudge*
This is another one of those books that just sucks you in and gets you in the feels from the time you open it until the time you close it! Jillie and Leo are teenagers that share a connection, and face all kinds of obstacles during their relationship. Jillie is a strong and independent woman that doesn’t take no crap from anyone…..not even Leo! She fights for whats right, and she fights for what’s wrong….all with the help of her family and friends. You will find yourself going through all of the emotions in this story. You will be cheering them on, then you will be sad and crying, then you will be mad and upset, and in the end you will be happy again! You go through all of the emotions while reading this story, but that is how you know a story is well written! Anne has done it again! I love the story, and how the book ended! It was the perfect ending to yet another perfectly well written book! I wish I could give it more than 5 stars that is how good it was!
The second part to this duet was amazing! It gave me all the answers that I needed from book 1 and more! Anne literally moved me with this book and I felt so many emotions. I am so glad that I read this duet!!! I was so happy that Jilly had Leo in her life because without him, I could see her truly struggling. I am so happy that they have each other and are able to get through all the challenges that they are faced with together.
The best thing about reading a book with a cliffhanger is knowing that at some point the author is going to come back and fix that cliffhanger. This book, part 2 of the duet, will have your emotions a mess. From tears of heartbreak, to rage, to more tears of reunion and everything in between. Anne Mercier does an amazing job at pulling you into this story and making you feel with the characters. Another great read!
Loved these teenaged minds.
Young Adult is definitely not my thing, but, Anne Mercier’s Kiss This, and Kiss This Too are two books that I absolutely enjoyed. She has written a book in a language that could have been downloaded from the mind of any teenager, and rocked the hell out of it while she was doing it.
Kiss This Too is written in my favourite dual POV, and I loved hearing from Leo. He is just a gorgeous and mature teenager who went above and beyond for a friend and ended up getting bitten in the backside for all of his honourable nature. The pile of drama that landed on both Jillie and him had the potential to derail their relationship, and their futures if not for the tenacious loyalty of their friends. This, right there, is what having friends is about. They were typical crazy funny teens who could put together payback and rescue with a military precision that Jillie’s dad, Colonel Ezra Fox would have been proud of.
I loved Eddie, the older long-term ranch-hand on the family property, and I identified with his propensity to lighten tension and sadness with inane jokes. Family, and friends plus the requisite mean girls are all wrapped in a literary package that means you are guaranteed to have a great read. 5 Stars from me.
Things are never as they appear.
We learned that with Jillie and Elan in Kiss This and learn it to also the case with Ella and Leo. But why do they appear so close if they aren’t and haven’t been a couple?
Leo has finally come to his senses and knows that Jillie is it for him; Leo is back to the Jack that we loved! Ella is up to no good and causing more drama than you could’ve ever imagined in the second part of this duet. And for a moment (a very short, fleeting moment), you even feel sorry for the girl. That goes out the window when Ella, again, shows her true colors.
Add that to the horrifying news Jillie received about her dad…its too much to handle for anyone, especially a 16 year old girl!
If you are like me and your high school career sucked but lacked drama, you can live vicariously through the Kiss This duet that Anne has graced us with. I loved this world that was painted for us, the characters that were given to us…including the wonderful Eddie we meet at the Wisconsin farm. Need some one-liners? Look no farther than Eddie; he’s the comic relief needed to lighten up the Ella drama!
I loved this book from start to finish so many feelings anne Mercier did an outstanding job with this book
Absolutely worth the wait for part two. So many emotions and all the drama of these teenagers we met in Kiss This. Couldn’t ask for a better conclusion and hope to see more books about these characters in the future!
Anne Mercier has done it again.
This book was amazing. It had me distracted during a frustrating day and I can’t thank her enough for that.
She has made an epic duet and it’s definitely one everyone should read.
Another fantastic emotional rollercoaster ive just been on. I loved it i read it all in one sitting. I will definitely be recommending this book and series to friends. And please let there be more books with jillie and leo in the future.
This is book two in the Kiss Duet, and boy, was it a doozy! This book kept me on the edge of my seat from the very first page. There were surprises, a riot of emotions, and a few tears along the way. It was a good book, one that I couldn’t help but read in one sitting!
Jilly’s life is a little out of the ordinary, but it works for her. Moving to a new home, a new school, things were rocky for a bit, but things are starting to look up. Then her life is turned upside down, once again, but this time she isn’t sure she is going to recover. But Jilly is strong, and she has some incredible friends backing her up!
Leo’s life was pretty shallow before Jilly. But his feelings for her are real, and he’s letting her in, where he hasn’t let anyone go before. Things are looking good, until his past comes back to haunt them and try to destroy what they’ve worked so hard for.
Jilly is the kind of girl I love to read about. She is strong enough to stand up for herself, strong enough to hold her own against the “mean girls”. This was such a fun story, a great follow up to the first book, and definitely one that I would put as a “must read”. There are so many surprises, things I’d have never even thought possible, and I just couldn’t put it down! This duet rocks!
Kiss This Too is the conclusion to Anne Mercier’s Kiss duet. This is not a standalone as it picks up right where Kiss This left off so if you haven’t read that yet, please go back and do so! Kiss This Too is a quick read that I blew through in a few hours. It’s an emotional and angsty read and Leo has secrets he’s keeping from Jilly but everything works out for these two the way that it should. The ending to Leo and Jilly’s story was worth the wait! 4 stars
What an amazing ending for this Kiss Duet. Book 1 left us gripping our reading devices and tears in our eyes and book 2 broke our hearts then healed them. There is so much more this duet then what you think. Fun, drama with a captial D, family, friendships, love, loss and I can keep going on.
So well written that I just zipped right through the pages.
