A struggling antiques collector finds herself falling in love with a millionaire playboy; but can she ever be a part of his world? Meet the Naughty Princess Club, a series from USA Today bestselling author Tara Sivec that brings readers to Fairytale Lane and the hilarity–and romance–that three women fall into once they decide to strut their stuff and bring on their own happily ever after. While … ever after.
While her friends have broken free of their insecurities, Ariel Waters is struggling to come out of her shell. Her ex-husband took away her voice and her self-confidence, and Ariel is drowning under a sea of debt to afford the alimony she has to pay him. She refuses to ever fall for a man’s charms again, and is determined to make her own way.
When her house and her beloved antiques are taken by the bank after too many missed payments, Ariel finds herself adrift until the infuriatingly charming Eric Sailor comes to her rescue. Although she can’t stand the millionaire playboy, Eric’s kindness and unconditional support reveal hidden depths and a love that Ariel never imagined she could find.
But there are outside influences who will stop at nothing to keep them apart; can Ariel and Eric weather the storm and find a way to be together in Kiss the Girl?

Fantastic ending to this fairytale series. Absolutely loved Eric and Ariel. An endearing story that will make you laugh out loud. Eric is totally swoon worthy. Ariel cracks me up with her attitude and sass. Definitely worth the read.
Every once in a while I just want a book without any heartache or angst. I want to get lost, have fun, and escape for a little while. Kiss the Girl by Tara Sivec gave me those three gifts and more. This book follows Ariel, businesswoman and aspiring stripper with a hoarding problem and Eric, a millionaire part owner of a strip club. Yes, this book sounds absurd, because it is in the best ways!
I don’t want to say Eric is the perfect hero, but he’s pretty darn close. Kiss the Girl was very much Ariel’s story. If you’ve read the other two books in the series, you know Ariel is a bold, brash heroine fond of death threats and the F-bomb. Eric takes her mood swings and craziness in stride and sees the woman beneath the bluster. He’s a great supporting character to his “princess.”
After reading book one and two, I wasn’t sure I was going to like Ariel. Cindy and Belle were crazy in their own ways, but Ariel was the ultimate zany lady in my mind and I worried I would feel this book was over the top. I shouldn’t have doubted Ms. Sivec for a second. This book IS over the top but only in the best ways. I loved seeing Ariel as her friends and Eric did: a tough outer shell protecting a soft core.
This whole series was a breath of fresh air and I want more! I can’t wait to see what else Ms. Sivec has up her sleeve. Whatever it is, you can sure I’ll be there for the ride!

5 star review of Kiss The Girl (The Naught Princess Club #3) by Tara Sivec
This was one of those books that had be snorting and laughing out load on too many occasions to name. I loved this book from the first to the last chapter.
This is book three in the series and is all about Ariel Waters,a struggling antiques collector who finds herself falling for Eric Sailor, a millionaire playboy.
I fell hard and fast for Eric, a totally swoon worthy hero who ticked all my boxes. Ariel appears to be strong and feisty and trying to get her life together, but all is not as it seems. I loved that Eric was determined to help Ariel see herself as he sees her and it was that that had me cheering him on.
There were so many snort and laugh out loud moments throughout this book that I was in danger of being locked up. I laughed so hard I nearly cried, not to mention I woke my husband up.
The banter between Eric and Ariel was hilarious at times and this is one of those books that I recommend you one click once available, I don’t think you will be disappointed.
I received a copy of this book through the publisher via Netgalley.
The final book in The Naughty Princess Club gives us Ariel and Eric’s story. The little glimpses we got of Eric in the previous books made him out to seem like kind of a sleezy playboy. I really didn’t think I was going to like his character but I ended up liking him the most out of all three heroes. He was so NOT sleazy. The way he knew how to handle the prickly Ariel was not only entertaining but also very sweet and caring. He is the character that surprised me the most and in a majorly good way.
Ariel has been a ball buster from the beginning but when we finally got her story, it was actually pretty sad and explains why she was so much bluster. She came off very angry in this book and she has good reason. It was a bit much at times, but there was also some really funny moments when she went into her tirades.
I really got a kick out of Belle in this book. Now that she is with Vincent, her shy, nerdy persona had a bit of a temptress to it. That combination was pretty funny. Cindy, Belle and Ariel have the kind of friendship I loved to read in books. They have solidarity, are completely crazy most of the time and entertaining to read about.
All three books in this series have been very loosely based off Disney fairytales. You can pretty much guess which one’s with these character names but make no mistake, these are not Disney stories. All three books have been so much fun to read and I highly recommend them!
Kiss the Girl had a great mix of moments that made me laugh and moments that made me cry. I was very excited for Ariel’s book (she’s always been my fave princess). I loved all the little tie-ins to the original, and the way Eric helped bring her back to herself and pointed out her strengths. I love her dad, too! And I loved to hate Eric’s mom. The ending is perfection, and is wrapped up in a way that makes me wonder if it’s the end of the series. I kind of hope not, I know it’s random, but there was a character introduced in this book who needs their own fairy tale! Anyways, lots of laughs to be had in this great book about friendship, fierceness, and forever.
Kiss The Girl is the third and final book in The Naughty Princess Club series by Tara Sivec. The whole series and especially this story is such a fun take on Disney Princesses. I will say they are all generally very campy but what do you expect with Princesses portrayed as strippers. LOL
Ariel and Eric is an enemies to lovers story that had me laughing out loud the whole way through. If you are in the mood for a fun silly book with a great romance at the heart of it definitely go with Kiss The Girl.
Personally, I would recommend reading the series in order since each is a fun story and they do overlap. You could read each as a standalone but together they make up a fun larger story of these three women coming into their own.

Ariel Waters is a loud mouth divorcée who’s not afraid to tell people off or to get on people’s faces as needed. When she loses her home and what’s left of her antiques store, infuriating Eric Sailor will come to her rescue and give her a place to stay until the blooming business she started with her two besties helps her pay for a new place.
I really enjoyed this book. I loved the story as well as Ariel and her sass and Eric’s charming disposition from the very beginning. As maddening as Ariel thinks he is, Eric is exactly what the doctor ordered and he’ll spend his time pushing the right buttons to keep her going.
Ariel’s journey to find what she thought lost during her marriage is one many women have gone through and Ms. Sivec found a hilarious yet heartfelt way to bring it up in this story. She has most definitely found the formula to turn our mothers’ fairy tales into empowerment stories for ourselves and our daughters.
What a great way to wrap up this series! I have been waiting for Ariel’s book from the moment I met her in At the Stroke of Midnight. I knew that her book would have the most laughs and craziest moments thanks to her sassy, take no prisoners attitude. Though this is the 3rd book in The Naughty Princess Club, it can be read as a standalone. I do feel that readers will enjoy this one most though if they have read the previous books, since Ariel can be an acquired taste for some.
The enemies to lovers trope isn’t always my favorite, but I loved how Tara Sivec did it this time around. I was very pleasantly surprised by Eric throughout this book. Seeing another side to both Ariel and Eric was wonderful. Up to this point, Ariel (and her interactions with Eric) have always been comic relief in this series, so it was nice to finally know her motivations and see this more vulnerable side to her. The trip to the flea market as well as the scene at the storage unit at the end were so sweet and funny. Yes, Ariel is pretty brash and curses like a Sailor (pun intended!), but I felt like her insecurities and fears were the most relatable of all the heroines in this series. Throw in some amazingly hilarious secondary characters and this was romcom gold! I especially loved Ariel’s father, Mr. Triton, and Eric’s cat, Derrick Alfredo.
I’m always impressed by the author’s ability to weave in connections and nods to the original fairy tales and I thought the tie-ins were fantastic additions to the story. Yes, the drama was a bit predictable, but I felt that the overall message of believing in yourself and bolstering/helping others rise was so important. Building others up, instead of using that energy to tear each other down, is a huge theme in this series and it really came full circle in this book. The epilogue especially left me with a HUGE smile on my face and I really couldn’t have asked for a better way to close this series!

I have loved all the stories in the Naughty Princesses series, however I feel that Ms Sivec has definitely left the best till last with Kiss The Girl.
I have been impatiently waiting for Ariel’s story since the minute she knocked on Cindy’s door back in book one, and Ms Sivec has definitely not disappointed.
I am pretty sure that if she was real, Ariel and I would be the best of friends. I am not sure who swears more, her or me lol. We would need to count to check that one out!
I loved Ariel and Eric together, and needed them to fight their way to their HEA. And what fun that fighting was – fighting is foreplay they say!
I loved getting more of Charming and Cindy, and Belle and Vincent – I have to say, Belle really has turned into a dirty little minx hahaha
I laughed, I cried, and I go oh so angry whilst reading this book. I couldn’t put it down and was up reading till 2am to finish it.
I am going to miss these girls, but I can’t wait to see what Ms Sivec brings us next.
The Naughty Princess Club is such a delightful series. Kiss the Girl stars our favorite foul-mouthed Ariel Waters and the oh-so-dreamy Eric Sailor.
Ariel Waters wants nothing to do with men or love or romance. She’s FINE. As long as fine stands for: freaked-out, insecure, neurotic and emotional. Beneath her sexy, foul-mouthed façade is a woman that has been hurt and abused. A woman who lost everything she loves because of her terrible ex-husband, Sebastian.
“For the first time since I signed those fucking divorce papers two years ago, all I hear is his voice in my head telling me I’m not pretty enough, not skinny enough, not good enough.”
She may not want a knight in shining armor or a beastly man with a kind heart to save her, but Eric is determined to be the sweet, thoughtful, down-to-earth, sexy man that will help her find her voice again.
“Seeing you broken and hurting and sad is like having someone stuck a fucking knife in my chest. I don’t like it. So I’m pissing you off instead, because it brings me great joy to see you fired up.”
With the help and support of her best friends Cindy and Belle, along with Eric’s antics and his ridiculous cat Derrick Alfredo (I love him), Ariel starts to believe that maybe the fairytale is possible for her too, but she’s going to have to fight villains both old and new to get it.
The perfect fairytale ending with the best quadruple epilogue! Kiss the Girl is full of laugh-out-loud humor, punny fairytale references, hilarious banter, great friends, naughtiness and sensuality, and a whole lot of girl power! These princesses don’t need saving, but they’re happy to have the support of three super sexy, charming and irresistible princes.
“Can I kiss the girl now? He whispers.”
“You’re so cheesy. And no, you can’t kiss me. I’m in charge here. I’ll kiss you.”
Wow! Firecracker? Spit Fire? Raging B!tch? Fun? Sassy? Take no prisoners? – How does one even begin to describe Ariel? Probably all of the above. However you want to describe her, she is fun to read about! She is so busy trying to keep her 100mph life on track, that she is like a tornado through her own life, and her friends get caught into the vortex. It’s a great read, with just enough twists and turns to make you root for her and Eric. Poor Eric, at least he has an idea of what he’s getting into, and bless him, he loves her all the more for it. The book was well written and a very fun read, just be prepared for a heroine that you’ve never seen before.
This is the third and last book of the Naughty Princess series by Tara Sivec, and it was my second book by this author. I was intrigued by the fairytale retelling, and I was waiting for Ariel and Eric’s book because they seemed like the characters that I would like the most out of the group of princes and princesses… and I was right.
We all know about Ariel and Eric from The Little Mermaid, and the ones in this book mirror them a bit, but in a modern key. Ariel is a curvy red-head who is known to be sassy. She used to own an antique shop but she had to sell it in order to pay bills and alimony to her ex-husband. She seems like the strongest of the group and the most confident, but the truth is different. After Ariel faces a difficult moment, she loses her way and her tough girl façade falls a bit. Her friends Cindy and Belle, with the help of their boyfriends and their friend Eric, try to save Ariel from the situation and subtly try to pair matchmaker between the two, since they are the only single of the group and they know they like each other. When Ariel has to live with Eric due to circumstances, she starts learning that he isn’t like she painted him at all, and he will also discover more of her personality. Eric is just like the fairytale prince: he is rich, good-hearted and sarcastic, and he gets Ariel’s weird personality and love for antiques.
I liked this book more than “In bed with the beast” despite the ways in which Ariel and Eric start getting closer are similar. Ariel has to leave her house because she hasn’t paid mortgage for a lot of months, and after this it all goes down but Ariel gets back on her feet at some point. Everyone believes that Ariel is the strongest of the princesses of this series, but she also has some insecurities and tries to show others that she is tough when she wants to cry. She is very hard on herself as well, but in the end she evolves into a confident woman who also found the love of her life. I think that the author succeeded in writing a strong female character who doesn’t let anybody, any man, direct her life, despite in the past she was bullied by a man (and a woman).
One of the strongest features of this series is the strong female friendship of Cindy, Belle and Ariel. In every book the princesses that aren’t the main character are always supportive of each other and their friend, and this is a good thing because I’m sick of those books were the main female character has one friend who appears every once in a while and it’s not different if she isn’t there or not. In this case, the absence of one of the other princesses would be felt, because Cindy, Belle and Ariel are different women and they all have their quirks, like Belle’s love to talk about statistics during ANY conversation. LOL. Or Ariel using curse words and smack some sense into the other two, or Cindy’s momma bear control and reasonable voice of the group. I liked the support these women gave to each other, because women should not be against each other but they should help each other. I hope that the author will write a similar series with strong female characters and friendships, because this one was very good.
Besides this, I love the style of this book. Tara Sivec is able to write realistic and relatable dialogues and she made me laugh several times because each character may be a bit sterotyped at times (I think since it’s a fairytale retelling, the basic characters are stereotypes themselves), but each has her/his own personality and is essential in the big picture in the end, to make this book “colorful”.
If you like romantic comedies, this is a must.
*A copy of this book was provided by the publisher via NetGalley and I freely give my honest review.*
What a delightful ending to a series, maybe someone would call it a cliche but I love happy ending and epilogues
* Very good storyline with little surprises put in that makes it quirky and fun.
* Ariel is as bitchy as they come but Eric don’t shy away from the challenge. I love their dialogues, their fun and snarky
* The characters are well written and the feelings is hot and heavy. It’s also fun to read about the secondary characters I’ve read about before.
* No unnecessary descriptions of surroundings
* Lots of fun and entertaining dialogues
* Love scenes is steaming hot and sweet
This is the third book in this series, they can all be read as standalone but I recommend reading in order to get the feeling of knowing the characters well.
If you love unique friendships and people who love and support each other this series is excellent.
5 stars
Three words to describe this WHOLE series would be:
Clever. Brilliant. Astounding.
I loved all three stories, but she saved the best for last with Kiss the Girl.
It was wickedly funny.
Deliciously HOT!!
Undeniably heartening.
From the very beginning, Ariel, was my favorite. Her sassy, mouthy, take no nonsense attitude won me over. She was the one who helped her friends along the way, so to see that her story was not only brilliantly done, it was the one that I loved the most. The sexy banter/chemistry between Eric and Ariel is enliven. You’ll fall in love with them as they fall for each other.
In addition to loving this whole series, loving ALL the characters in these books, I specifically loved how Tara Sivec wrapped things up. She not only gave these fairy tales a genius spin, the happily ever after… is one for the books.
I’m not just recommending this book, I need you to read all the books. Tara truly outdid herself with these and I loved every moment of it.
First thing to know: This book had me laughing right from page one. Hilarious! This is the third book in the Naughty Princess Club series and it was the most fun, at least for me. That’s saying something because I enjoyed – and laughed – when I read the first two.
This story is about Ariel Waters (yesssssssss, it is a ‘princess’ name, just like her friends) and Eric Sailor. Both of their back stories are tangled and convoluted, and each of them needs to come to terms with it/them before they can move on. Tara comes across as strong and forward but we get to know that she has a teeny softie buried under all that sass. And Eric. He knows just what she needs, sometimes before she even knows.
Ariel’s friends are a part of the story but it can be read as a standalone. Personally, I always enjoy a story in a series if I’ve already met the other characters.
Tara is dealing with an ex from Hades, red tape for her business with her friends (The Naughty Princess Club stripping business), and losing everything she has ever owned. And Eric is right by her side, all the way through. For Tara, she can’t really decide if she can trust her instincts with Eric or if she should continue to be a screaming maniac to keep people at arm’s length. Both she and Eric grow and change and as I said at the top, it is often hilarious; at times touchingly deep; and always fun to read. I was firmly in the ‘I hope they make it’ camp and thoroughly enjoyed the book. There are lots of people to love, and there are people you’ll want to smack. Works for me!

Kiss the Girl is the third installment in Tara Sivec’s Naughty Princess Club series and in my opinion it is the best one yet. It’s been great how Sivec has taken these well recognized fairy tales and turned them into real life stories.
Ariel Waters has always been the most outspoken of the three friends who started the Naughty Princess Club together. She seems to be confident, sassy, outspoken and comfortable with herself, but we quickly learn that looks can be deceiving. She is actually very insecure and her previous relationship had much to do with that.
Eric Sailor has been intrigued by Ariel since the first time she opened her mouth and told him what she thought! When Ariel literally loses everything when her house is foreclosed on, Eric steps in and gives her a place to stay and he also happens to be the one person who seems to have gotten her number. He can see through the facade she has built and he’s determined to wear her down.
As in all good romances, there are hurdles to overcome and in the end, will Eric be able to help Ariel find her voice again?
The banter was on point, the sexy times were hot and there were laugh out loud moments throughout this book. This was definitely my favorite of the series and I would recommend reading the first two books in the series so that you have context of all of the characters since they all appear in this book and having the back story is helpful. Go forth and enjoy this endearing true to life telling of one of my favorite fairy tales!
This book was rom-com perfection! I’m still smiling, swooning and laughing to myself when I think about certain parts of the story. This is the third book in the Naughty Princess series but I don’t think you have to have read the first two to love this one. I have not read the first two but you can bet I’m going to now!
Ariel and I have a lot in common. We’re both blunt and give it as good as we get it (humor, sarcasm, etc). I just loved her book. The other two were amazing but this one is a little more special just because of how much Ariel is like me.
“There hasn’t been anyone since you walked into that fucking club over there and knocked me on my ass, princess.”
The humor was on point between Eric and Ariel. I loved him in the previous books but in this one he showed me so much more. I couldn’t get enough of the way he loved her just the way she is. His acceptance of her was everything. Their chemistry leaped off of the pages (well screen) and just gave me all the flutters.
“Now I’m just pissed. Pissed that I was forced to give up a guy who looked at me the way I look at tacos.”
If you haven’t read these books then I just can’t even with you. This is Tara Sivec at her finest. If you have read these then I hope you have checked out her Fool Me Once series, Chocolate Lovers series, Chocoholics series. Those are all along the lines of these books. If you want something that will pull on your heart strings a lot more than these, well then I highly recommend Fisher’s Light.
“Can I kiss the girl now?”
This one really has made this trilogy come full circle. The friendship, the coming into their own, then support from the men. It was thrilling to watch the evolution of it all through the three books. I hope you check these out and love this series as much as I do.
Finally back with our three fairy tale strippers!
This last book is Ariel’s. She’s the ex antiques dealer who had to give up her shop because her husband left her and she couldn’t afford the store anymore. And now she’s also kind of homeless! The bank is taking her house and all her beloved antiques. And she has to move in with one of her girls for a while. But she doesn’t want to bother their new lives with their new guys. So she kind of ends up living with Eric. The millionaire playboy and one of the bosses of the strip club and the guy she hates most in the world. Even though he smells so good and looks amazing and knows just how to deal with her crazy. But still. We hate him. Right??? And we’ll never fall for a charming hot guy never ever again …
What will happen with Ariel & Eric??
Will we get a happily ever after??
READ THE BOOK TO FIND OUT!
LOL!
The 3rd book was just as adorably funny as the first two!
Those three chicks are hilarious! Ariel, the antique dealer with absolutely NO filter. The prude housewife Cindy. Innocent librarian Belle. They SO don’t fit together as best friends, but it works perfectly. And Belle and Cindy are not so innocent and prude as they used to be!!!
Ariel is still not really over her husband leaving her. It’s not only that he left her. It’s how he treated her all through the marriage … and she even has to pay alimony!!
And then this hot and amazing-smelling guy comes to the rescue. Ugh. She wants to kill him. But he’s helping and he’s so sexy and grrr.
It’s just adorable the way poor Ariel tries to resist Eric. And just as adorable how he’s not at all bothered by what comes out of her mouth or flying towards his head. Because what comes out of her mouth is not really what’s in her heart and mind. Too cute those two!
I LOVED every hilarious and adorable and sweet and sexy moment of this book
I SO need Netflix to come and make a show out of this series!
Oh, I have to mention the cover! It’s the best one of the three. The first ones were just weird with the guy and girl not interacting… but here we’re even touching! Yay!
KISS THE GIRL was the most hilarious & sexy & adorable RomCom! Run to your nearest amazon asap – you need to meet these ladies! And Eric of course … but HANDS OFF … he’s MINE!
If I had to mention something not-so-amazing. Just like the last book – we have this unnecessary drama moment at the 77% mark. All that stupid drama could’ve been avoided by just talking it out and dealing with it together. But nope. Books never do that. Why? Come up with something new and not always these unnecessary drama stuff moments. Drama is totally ok but give me amazing drama!
STILL 5 STARS ‘CAUSE I LOOOVED THE BOOK AND THE EPILOGUEs!!!!!
Kiss the Girl by Tara Sivec
This book was a LOT of fun and I think it may be my favorite of the series! Kiss the Girl is the third book in the Naughty Princess series and I guess you can read it as a standalone, but why would you? You really should read them all to get the full story of these down-on-their-luck stripper princesses.
This is the story of Ariel who has met her Eric and cannot stand even the mere sight of him. She is so damn badass and takes no shit that I’ve decided I want to be her when I grow up. Loved her. Her only shortcoming is that thanks to an emotionally abusive past relationship, she has zero confidence in herself and how she looks. When she’s evicted from her home, Prince Eric comes to the rescue and carries her away to his humble abode/boat where they live happily ever after… wait no. Wrong story. Eric does indeed drag her kicking and screaming and gives her a home on one of his boats till she sorts herself out. Of course, no relationship is without drama and these two deal with their fair share.
I so enjoyed this book. Eric had the patience of a saint and knew exactly how to help Ariel see her worth without driving her to homicide. His and Ariel’s relationship had been a long time coming and it was fun and explosive and just perfect for them. Anything less and it wouldn’t have been true to the characters, particularly Ariel. I love how Sivec throws in the Disney references and I loved Mr Triton.
I think this is the end of the series (although I hope I’m wrong) and I think Sivec did a great job with all of the books. Absolutely recommend these if you love RomComs.
