A struggling antiques collector finds herself falling in love with a millionaire playboy; but can she ever be a part of his world? Meet the Naughty Princess Club, a series from USA Today bestselling author Tara Sivec that brings readers to Fairytale Lane and the hilarity–and romance–that three women fall into once they decide to strut their stuff and bring on their own happily ever after. While … ever after.
While her friends have broken free of their insecurities, Ariel Waters is struggling to come out of her shell. Her ex-husband took away her voice and her self-confidence, and Ariel is drowning under a sea of debt to afford the alimony she has to pay him. She refuses to ever fall for a man’s charms again, and is determined to make her own way.
When her house and her beloved antiques are taken by the bank after too many missed payments, Ariel finds herself adrift until the infuriatingly charming Eric Sailor comes to her rescue. Although she can’t stand the millionaire playboy, Eric’s kindness and unconditional support reveal hidden depths and a love that Ariel never imagined she could find.
But there are outside influences who will stop at nothing to keep them apart; can Ariel and Eric weather the storm and find a way to be together in Kiss the Girl?

Ariel Waters and Eric Sailor were magical! Ariel is trying to get over her verbally abusive ex husband. She wants to get back to her sassy self without the help of a man. After she is evicted from her home, Eric rides to the rescue with his spare yacht. They fight like cats and dogs, but Eric just eats it up. He has never had to work for a girl, but Ariel is worth all the effort. This is definitely a must read! 5 stars for this fairy tale come true!
This was my first read for this author and while this was the third book in the series, it definitely can be read as a standalone. However, at times I did feel like I might be missing out on something by not reading the first two books.
This was quite the retelling of Disney’s version of The Little Mermaid. When I started this book I began to wonder what I had gotten myself into, because Ariel has some serious anger issues. This is all explained before you even get thru a quarter of the book. Once the reason is explained for her anger, it all makes sense (even if it was a little over the top) and I had a hard time putting this book down. There are plenty of laugh out loud moments and the sexy times are steamy. The book knocks down the fourth wall and pokes fun at itself for the Disney references. Ursula doesn’t make her full on strike until about the 75% mark and I was worried that the author wasn’t going to be able to pull it all together in the end, but she proved me wrong. Take away the Disney references and you still have a solid story about friends sticking together and being there for each other no matter what. I’ll have to checkout the first two books in the series. Also loved the ending and how it all came together, didn’t really see it going down that way.
I’ve loved this series from day one, and with characters like these, it’s easy to see why! Tara Sivec has created another fairytale romantic comedy masterpiece!
Ariel is definitely something special. I have a HUGE girl crush on her. Foul-mouthed, opinionated, unfiltered, and a bit rage-y, this girl is amazing! But digging a little deeper into her personality, there’s reasons why she is this way. It’s impossible not to love her and some of the outlandish things that pour from her mouth when she gets going, though. She’s an absolute riot!
And who knew Eric would be this fantastic?! I had an idea that he’d be pretty great based on the other two books but I think he just might be my favorite. He’s got a personality to match Ariel’s, but he also brings out a different side of her that only he can. He’s wittingly charming, unbelievably sweet, and off-the-charts sexy (hello dark hair, blue eyes, and dimples).
I really enjoyed this book! It’s laugh-out-loud funny and a perfect adult spin on a classic fairytale.
I loved this series so much! It is just pure fun. The interactions, the dialog, and the people around Arial and Eric are also so clever and fun. It turns out the tough take no prisoners girl is the one that needs the most reassurance and love. Ariel may have a desire to do everything alone and be independent, she may also have a good sense of how high her self esteem should be and how much she is worth, but after being emotionally beat down and taken advantage of, maybe a little help from Eric is the best that could happen to her. Eric is the best! He knows just how to treat her, how to be patient, he values what is important and doesn’t give up. He knows that to help a spitfire like her he would need a different strategy other than the direct one. In the meantime he will also show her that letting him love her will only make her life better. The fact that he does all this by arguing with her and provoking her into bickering just makes it more entertaining. They both have a lot to give and they will both do it while fighting for control. I laugh out loud, no doubt making people around me wonder what I was reading. What more can you ask for?
Kiss the Girl is book three in The Naughty Princess Club series by Tara Sivec. Each standalone in the series is based loosely on a fairy tale and this fun, adorable and sexy book featured The Little Mermaid. I truly enjoyed this hilarious and charming book and I think I liked this one the most.
It was always a delight to watch Ariel. She was the sassy one with the colorful language and an attitude to match. The sarcasms that Ariel and Eric threw at each other were hilarious. They were the perfect match to each other. Eric’s thoughtfulness and understanding grounded the craziness and insecurity of Ariel. Eric saw the real Ariel under the veil that she put on to cover her insecurity. He subtly helped her find her confidence and never gave up on her even if she was being a little irrational. He truly was a swoon-worthy good man.
Although this book can be read as a standalone, I still recommend reading the series in order. This way you’ll be able to journey with three unique girls and witness their transformation. Cindy, Belle and Ariel come together at their lowest point in life. Together, they found friendship and support in each other and regained their independence and confidence by starting a successful home stripping business. Their hilarious banter and unconditional support for each other is definitely some of my favorite themes running in the series.
I had so much fun reading this hilarious and entertaining story. I highly recommended this series to anyone looking for something fun, sexy and creative with a fairy tale twist. The sweet epilogue wrapped the series up nicely and give us hope that there is indeed happily ever after in real life. A job well-done Tara!
I received an advance reviewer copy of the book for free in exchange for an honest review. This does not affect my opinion of the book or the content of my review.
A prickly, funny, crackling with heat romantic comedy that made me laugh OUT LOUD and had me grinning ear to ear!
Tara Sivec is a master storyteller! I love the way she wrote these characters and the wit and humor and prickly personality of Ariel made me giggle while the way she created Eric made me Ariel’s perfect match with his too charming personality. I loved the sizzling WHITE HOT heat that snapped and popped between them. The sex was spicy, sexy and steamy while the humor and sprinkle of heart made this book very irresistibly. I am so looking forward to see what fun book Miss Sivec will come up with next!
Kiss The Girl gets a FIERY AND PASSIONATE FIVE LAUGH TILL HURTS SHOOTING STARS!
Kiss the Girl by Tara Sivec is book Three in the Naughty Princess Club Series. This is the story of Ariel Waters and Eric Sailor. I have read the previous book, but feel this can be a standalone book.
Ariel just got out of a bad marriage and the ex is still working to make her life hard. But is working to get her and her friends business ideal started when she ends up needing help. Eric has been taken by Ariel from day one but she isn’t having any of it but when she needs help he is their to catch her and help. But things don’t go smoothly for them…but love will always win out.
Really loved this book…it was hot, funny a hot loving guy and a strong women for the heroine….with a underline fairy-tale story line.
Kiss the Girl is the third and final book in Tara Sivec’s The Naughty Princess Club and it might very well my favorite of the three.
Three women who have hit their rock bottom become friends and decide to strip to make money and reclaim their lives. They are based on the Disney princesses and this last story features Ariel (previously we had Cindy and Belle). Unlike her friends, Ariel is not able to strip in front of people, instead handling the club’s books. Her ex has left her with no confidence and the woman she sees in the mirror is the broken and deserving woman he convinced her she was. He has left her with a mountain of debt and swearing to never let a man enter her life again. Ariel is determined to make it on her own, but when the bank is ready to take her home and her beloved antiques, all seems lost. Enter Eric. Eric is an infuriating and he seems to only antagonize her, yet something about him is hard for Ariel to resist. She isn’t sure she can trust the playboy millionaire and someone is out to try and make sure she doesn’t get the happy ending she deserves. Good thing Eric and her two best friends are their to see her through the rough patches.
Like the two previous books, this story was hilarious. The antics of Cindy, Belle and Ariel will have you laughing out loud. I have enjoyed this trilogy tremendously and am sad to see it end.
3.5*
Kiss the Girl and I didn’t get off to the best of starts- I was ready to throw the towel in at 7%, and had to step away for awhile. Even after I picked up again I started debating on just calling it quits. Ariel wasn’t just rubbing me the wrong way, she was rubbing me upside down and backwards. From the first moment I met her I didn’t like her. I had to double check that this book was in fact told from her pov because I swear I thought I was reading a story told by an ahole alpha male. She was that abrasive and quite frankly, obnoxious. I mean, I can be obnoxious and abrasive with the best of them, but this girl took it to the limits. But at some point, okay at one certain point, Eric pulled me in, hook, line and sinker, and I’m glad I continued on.
Ariel is quite an interesting character. Liked I said, she’s abrasive, obnoxious, she’s rude, has a horribly foul mouth, and at times I felt she was just TSTL. I never thought I’d use that acronym, but if the shoe fits… The best thing to happen to Ariel was Eric. He was quite honestly perfect. But not in that unbelievable or untouchable kind of perfect. Just completely charming and adorable and sweet as can be. He was able to see past Ariel’s bluster and bravado, to the person she kept hidden behind the facade she created for herself. Thanks to him I was able to see past a lot of what turned me off from her in the beginning.
While it was hard to let go of my initial feelings for this book, in the end I did find myself enjoying the story, even laughing out loud at certain points. For all her faults, Ariel is a great friend, has the best of intentions, and I’m glad she got her happily ever after.
I haven’t read the previous 2 books in this trilogy and although there was a time or 2 I could have probably used a little more back story, I really didn’t feel like I was missing out on much. I think Ms. Sivec did a good job of letting Ariel’s story stand on its own.
Tara Sivec has taken the Naughty Princess Club to a whole new level and it was absolutely entertaining! Kiss the Girl is book #3 in the Naughty Princess series and is fantastic! I’ve been waiting for Ariel’s book since she opened her mouth in At the Stroke of Midnight and it was well worth the wait!
Ariel is the sassy, strong, confident, independent woman of the group…or so we thought. We find out very quickly that Ariel isn’t exactly who she portrays herself to be, she’s actually very unsure of herself.
Eric has been smitten with Ariel since she ever so nicely told him to F*&% off. Eric sees right thru her facade and is determined to make Ariel see her own self worth and build her back up to the strong woman she once was.
But with Ariel losing everything, a lying ex-husband and Eric’s evil mother, Eric will have a fight on his hands to help Ariel find her voice once again.
I honestly cannot say enough about this book! The banter between Ariel and Eric is priceless and their sexual chemistry?? My god…melt your panties right off your body hot. I don’t think I’ll ever forget that lap dance! The relationship between Ariel, Cindy and Belle was just as humorous and show what true friendship is all about!
Everything about this series is hilarious! I loved every single book and have to say that Ariel and Eric were the best, by far!! I highly suggest reading the first two books in the series before Kiss the Girl just because of the pure awesomeness that is Tara Sivec!
I want to be Ariel when I grow up! I loved her outburst, her dirty mouth and her affection towards her friends. She comes off incredibly abrasive, because she’s built a wall around herself. She’s the last of the Naughty Princess Club. She struggles with self-confidence, as well as doubting herself as her ex was a douche.
In strolls Eric, a wealthy gentleman who has a stake in Charming’s but also has a couple yachts. He’s drawn to Ariel. He strokes the fire inside because he understands her. He is one of the swooniest hero in this series.
Ariel and Eric navigate the through mucky bone deep feelings that couple go through. But holy goodness. The sexuality prowess when these two are together is magic! They were magic. Eric led Ariel to find voice, again. She always had it.
This. This right here is why I LOVE THIS BOOK! It doesn’t get any truer than this!! “One who doesn’t take your power or your independence away. Once who lifts you up instead of putting you down. One who is proud to stand by your side and fight whatever battle he can, not because he doesn’t think you can do it on your own, but because he can’t handle standing by and doing nothing. Because he truly cares about you.”
Tara Sivec mixes hysterical laughter, almost to the point of peeing, with heartfelt situations individuals and couples struggle through. I was consumed by this book. A top 2018 read for me. A book that will stay with me.
This book was suggested to me and I took a chance at a new author. The story is one of a three book series and while the story is separate, it probably would be a good idea to read them in order. Needless to say, this was entertaining and funny as well as romantic. The characters take a couple of chapters to form but once they do, you sit back and enjoy the ride.
Who would think a business like the Naughty Princesses could thrive? And who would even conceive such an adventure? Whimsical yet funny, and definitely entertaining! Planning to go back and read the first two books before I read this one again!
I received an ARC from the publisher for an honest and unbiased review. No compensation was promised or received for this review.
I have never read an heroine like Ariel, she is super fun and kinda rude at the same time and there is something about her that makes you love her, or at least that was what Erick saw in her.
Erick won’t take Ariel’s rude attitude serious, he will see the best of her and he will help her to see that too.
After a bad breakup with her ex husband, Ariel doesn’t want to know anything about men, she doesn’t need a man to be happy and much less to save her from anything.
But Erick won’t give up until he makes Ariel realize how special and strong she is, and how to accept that love won’t make you weak or take away the person you truly are.
I am so in love with this couple because it was fun and sweet to see the interaction between these two and even more of both with Derrick. You will have a good dose of sweet, fun and awwww’s moments from the characters that will keep you reading till the end.
This is the third installment in The Naughty Princess Club. I have really loved these characters. I have been waiting for Ariel’s book. She quickly became my favorite out of the group with her outspoken fun personality.
Ariel is feisty and takes care of those she loves. These group of girls are so much fun. I would love to hang out with them. Eric is the perfect guy for Ariel. Eric doesn’t want to change Ariel; he wants her to be herself.
If you are looking for a fun romantic comedy grab these books you will love them! I highly recommend them.
Let me start by saying that although this is the third book, it’s the first book that I’ve read in this series and it can be read as a standalone. I’ve read other books from this author and enjoyed them so I was excited to read this story. This story wasn’t for me. I liked most of the characters in the book; well every character except one of the main characters, Ariel. From the very beginning of the story Ariel acted crazy, dramatic, bitter, childish and too over the top and I was hoping that along the way she would mature some but she was aggravating me whole story. Not only with her actions aggravating, but how she spoke to people and her friends grated on my nerves. I truly disliked her and it’s hard to like a story when you dislike one of the main characters even if you do enjoy the side characters. Maybe if I had read the previous books I would have been accustomed to her actions and antics but I didn’t and this one was just too much. This story just wasn’t for me.
Kiss The Girl was my first by author Tara Sivec. I liked it, but I didn’t love it. Maybe because I haven’t read the previous 2 books in the ‘Princess Club’ series as the first few chapters were hard to digest as I made my way through them trying to figure out who everyone was. As with the previous books, Kiss The Girl is a take on a Disney storybook princess, in this case, Ariel. But where the Disney version was sweet and kind, our girl here, is quite the opposite. She’s got a foul mouth on her and is very opinionated.
Ariel operates the Naughty Princess Club, an ‘at home’ stripper company. Her two friends, Belle and Cindy, have already found their perfect match in their books and now they think it’s her turn. But, Ariel isn’t looking for Prince Charming, or to settle down. She’s been there, done that and got the mental scars to prove it’s not real thanks to her abusive ex-husband Sebastian.
Eric owns the club where they operate, he’s wanted Ariel from the moment he saw her fiery red hair and heard her salty talk. He’s not one to back down from a challenge and that’s what Ariel is. He’ll win her heart despite objections.
Eric was a really sweet guy, I’m not sure Ariel deserved him but she’s what he wanted so who am I to judge?
Wow! It was a perfect ending to the series! When you think you knew Ariel from the first two books, Tara pulls the rug from your fit and changes everything! This book has so many layers, so much depth and an emotional development so great, that you finish it crying and laughing at the same time. Ariel is such a complex character, but at the same time she is like so many women, that it’s impossible not to relate. It was a joy to see she coming out of her shell and how Eric was a key component in everything. This book, or this hole series, for sure are now in my list of favorite fairy-tales retellings.
4 “Fucking Perfect” stars!
With Sivec’s trademark humor and steam, KISS THE GIRL is a sweet, sexy, empowering read that I loved from start to finish. Hopefully one day, I will be able to find my own prince hot stuff and live happily ever after.
Ariel Waters became my favorite princess since she opened her mouth in At the Stroke of Midnight. Her sassiness and dirty mouth made me fall in love with her, but it was her vulnerable side the one that won me over. It was a twist I was not expecting but one that I totally loved. The underlying message of female empowerment was FUCKING PERFECT!
But as much as I loved Ariel, I have to say Eric played a significant role in the story. He was Ariel’s perfect match. There is no other way to describe it. A hero worthy of being added to your list of Book Boyfriends.
And the author not only delivered a pair of ah-mazing main characters but some second ones that made me laugh my ass off every time they show up throughout the story. I’m looking at you, Mr. Triton.
Tara Sivec can write about these characters for years, and I’d still read it.
Kiss the Girl was the last book of the series and in some way, a favorite of mine. The epilogue was one of the best ones I have read, but it was bittersweet because although I found myself happy that my girls got their HEA, I was sad because I didn’t want this series to end.
So if you’re looking for a light-hearted, I-put-a-smile-on-your-face, swoon-worthy tale with an explosive chemistry and funny as hell banter, then this is your book!
A good fairy tale retelling love story that will have you escaping from real life for a few hours.
I just need to be able to pay my bills, finally start stripping for the Naughty Princess Club, and die happy and alone without a man pissing me off and telling me what to do.
The Naughty Princess Club series has become a favorite. It’s hysterical, sexy and empowering.
ARIEL WATERS’ character reminds me so much of a friend of mine … she’s sassy and smart-assy. She’s a strong female who refuses to take crap from anyone, refuses to let men fight her battles, and she always has your back.
But, Ariel’s outward appearance didn’t always mirror what was going on in her head. She took a hit to her self-esteem by way of her ex-husband. Unfortunately, his words cut her and challenged her view of herself. She may have helped her friends, Cindy and Belle learn how to break out of their shells and become strong, independent businesswomen, but her insecurities kept her handling the business side of the Naughty Princess Club rather being in the front of the house with her friends. Ariel, like a lot of women, finds negative words much easier to accept and believe, than positive affirmations and, fortunately for her, that was something that Eric understood.
You’ve got voices in your head that won’t shut the f*ck up. I know. I’m trying like hell to kick their ass,
ERIC SAILOR had his eyes on Ariel since she walked into Charming’s Gentlemen’s Club. He loved her attitude, her sassy mouth, and her curves. YOU GUYS! I melted when Eric began breaking down her walls, when he whispered in her ear, when he showed her the ways she was brilliant and how she was sexy.
The banter between these two was entertaining as hell. The sexual tension was flaming and their chemistry was undeniable.
When I went back through my Kindle to gather my quotes for my review, I realized I highlighted nearly a 1/4 of the book! That certainly explains how I managed to read this book in one day, why I laughed out loud many many times, and why I forgot to eat dinner; I was completely caught up in the story!
If you want laugh-out-loud moments, a slow-burn romance filled with sexual tension, characters who are perfect for each other, then KISS THE GIRL needs to be your next read!
Perfect rom-com for fans of enemies-to-lovers romance with plenty of sharp, rapid-fire banter and bickering. This is a must read if you love romance novels about women who lose their cool, women who hate to shop, women who build supportive yet non-standard friendships, or women who come back stronger after hard times. This is a must read if you can appreciate the humor in hairless cats, goat yoga, carb addiction, taco obsession, cat dads, random movie references, cocktails with raunchy names, and overprotective fathers who sometimes try too hard.
This is the third book in the Naughty Princess Club series. I haven’t read the others, but I’m not sorry I started with this one. In fact, I’m eager to go back and read the others, even though I might know a little about how those stories end. I just know there are plenty of laughs in those other books to make it worth my time. Besides, I can’t be too surprised to learn that the other couples go their HEAs, can I?
