But there are outside influences who will stop at nothing to keep them apart; can Ariel and Eric weather the storm and find a way to be together in Kiss the Girl?

Buzz worthy and laugh out loud funny, Tara Sivec’s Naughty Princess Club series is everything romantic comedies should be—good humored and high spirited with just the right amount of romance to match the comedy!
Ariel, let’s be honest has amplified this series with her loud, flamboyant, and crass personality. Tara goes a step further and develops Ariel into more than a character with sassy repartee. Underneath those crude remarks was an unexpected sensitive and insecure side to her. Which if I’m being honest kinda dimmed the fire in her that we’ve all grown accustomed to at times.
Eric, Eric, Eric Sailor! This guy! This swoony, smooth talking guy! Not only does he not subtly enter Ariel’s life, he comes barreling into it and knocks her off her high horse of spunkiness a peg or two. In a way, Ariel falling in love with him tamed her, but I can’t be upset because Eric also gives Ariel back the confidence her ex robbed her of and that’s when she truly begins to flourish.
Kiss The Girl was definitely naughty, fun, full of mirth, and banterful! Hands down, I recommend this novel, so get ready to laugh your pants off… Well, if Eric doesn’t charm them off first!
Tara Sivec does it again with her final installment of The Naughty Princess Club. Kiss the Girl is hilarious and empowering all rolled into one. Don’t miss ANY of this series!
I’m here to declare the Kiss the Girl is the best book in the Naughty Princess Club series! Hands down Ariel is a bad ass woman that no matter how much she fought it, she ended up with the perfect man that compliments her personality and will fight tooth and nail to kiss the girl!
Kiss the Girl is the final book in The Naughty Princess Club series and is laugh out loud hilarious, will get your cackles up and will have your screaming Girl Power! We have seen the not only the romantic relationships develop throughout the series, but the friendships between Cindy, Belle and Ariel. The bond they developed since meeting at rock bottom is tight knit and the type of friendships all women long for.
Ariel and Eric together is probably the best couple of the series in my opinion. All of the relationship in this series were great and romantic, but the way that Eric stepped and showed Ariel that she matters, that she is worth and really built her up made my heart soar and melt into a puddle of heart shaped goo. He really took the time to treasure her and get to know her on a level more intimate than sex. When the going got tough he didn’t bail on her, he stuck around and proved himself.
Dang it. Kiss the Girl is stellar and a must read romantic comedy that feminist will be proud of! The epilogue was EPIC! We were get caught up with each couple from the series and let me tell you… YOU WILL SWOON. That said. START THIS SERIES FROM THE BEGINNING. Do NOT start this series with Kiss the Girl. Go back and start reading At the Stroke of Midnight!
I love anything by this author. she is so funny and her characters have a way of reminding me of myself sometimes. I wasn’t disappointed in the least.
4.5 chuckle inducing stars!! This book was absolutely hilarious!! It really had a little bit of everything which really made it a great story. Funny, sexy and just enough emotions to balance it all out perfectly.
Ahhhh, you guys we finally have the most anticipated book !! Kiss the Girl is the final book in Tara Sivec’s, The Naughty Princess Club series . Ariel and Eric get their own story and we get a front row seat to the craziness as it unfolds!
The Little Mermaid happens to be a 2nd favorite story/movie of mine. I mean hello, who doesn’t want to be a mermaid like Ariel #sigh. This modern retelling of the beloved story had all the fun, sexiness, and adventure you’ll find yourself longing for.
Ariel Waters became my favorite from the very beginning of the series. She was sassy, feisty, charming, funny, and crazy lol. Though she is crazy in this book, I felt like she lost a bit of her fire and of herself and that’s what I originally loved about her from the other books. When we learn her story, her insecurities come into the picture and she becomes meek when confronting her ex… But then Eric Sailor comes in, bulldozing down her walls and helps build her confidence back up . Now, don’t get me wrong, I absolutely adored watching Ariel fall in love like her other gals, but what I did not like seeing was her be depressed and down. Her spark ultimately went out when it was her time to shine.
Those things aside, I loved this story. Add in new characters and the squad and you get an epic romcom! This may not have been a favorite, but it still had me rolling with laughter and ended with a sweet epilogue. I definitely recommend this book to everyone who loves a good laugh, angst, and sexy moments Ugh, I’m going to miss these beloved characters.
I enjoyed this so much that I read it twice! I’ve been looking forward to this book since the first one came out and I loved every minute of it. There are so many great parts, I highlighted like crazy. The first time I read it I was distracted because my 12 year old son was on his first movie date. Yeah, I needed to escape my reality because I was a hot mommy mess. No one will every be good enough for my baby boy!!! Like Ariel says, “It’s fine. I’M FINE.” But I digress. I loved the amazing banter between Ariel and Eric and I was giggling so much that my husband was making fun of me. So much giggling. I really loved this whole series and this was my favorite one. Oh, the epilogue was wonderful. It made me all happy-clappy!
I absolutely knew I was going to love this book…and that Ariel was going to be my favorite. Belle is a close runner-up, but so far Ariel and Eric’s story is my fave! I still need to go and read Cindy’s story, because I read them out of order, but I bet hers is just as amazing as these other two.
First off, I love the humor of this author! This book had me cracking up, like hand over my mouth so I don’t wake the hubby and kids, laughing so hard!! I mean from Ariel’s potty mouth, to Eric and Ariel’s verbal sparring, to GOGA!! I mean GOGA?! WTAF? The scene with Eric towards the end of Goga was freaking hilarious. He’s such a smarta$$, so I loved that little insta-karma thing going on. The scene that really had me cracking up was when we meet Ariel’s dad, and Eric and him getting her a little riled up to the point she tells off her ex…but then she doesn’t. Haha oh my god I was literally laughing my you know what off. There were soo soo many awesome, hilarious scenes in this book. Plus if you’re a fan of those fairytale re-telling kind of stories and you love to laugh, then this is so the book for you…really the series.
Aside from my perma-smile from beginning to end of the book, it also has it’s sweet moments. Eric is perfect in my book. I thought I loved Vincent, but I think Eric is my favorite. He’s just cocky, silly, sexy goodness in all the right ways. I love his humor and his ability to know exactly what to do to get Ariel either pissed and back on track to being her usual spitfire self, or when he just has these sweet moments and tells her exactly what she needs to hear and actually mean what he is saying as well.
We learn why Ariel is a little… okay a lot guarded, and where her anger and man-hater…ness (ha so a word!) stems from. And I freaking hated her ex, but I loved the way Ms. Sivec pulls The Little Mermaid characters into her book and turns them into just a whole other character. I love being part of her world. Ha ha I couldn’t help myself. I’m rambling. If you like to laugh, if you like dirty, hot fairytale re-tellings, if you just plain like to read…this is an awesome series. You won’t be disappointed. And if you are…well you suck because it’s awesome;P

4.5 Stars!
Ariel Waters lives on Fairytale Lane and is a collector of antiques. She owns a business called the Naughty Princess Club with her two best friends Cindy & Belle. They are all becoming the strong, independent women they were meant to be. Ariel has been handling the administrative side of the business, but wants to soon take on more. She’s divorced and needs to get out of debt. Her life suddenly begins to fall apart around her, and a person she wouldn’t expect shows her kindness in her time of need.
Eric Sailor is a gorgeous, Greek millionaire playboy. Ariel has always found him annoying, but when he unexpectedly comes to her rescue she soon realizes he’s sweet, thoughtful, and charming. He seemed to know exactly what she needed. It’s like he knows her deep down. He’s been a constant thorn in her side since they met, but now she finds this hot, funny guy irresistible. He’s breaking down her walls, and showing her how amazing she is. She’s never really believed in fairy tales for herself, but she’s tired of fighting her feelings for Eric. Could he be her happily ever after?
This was such a fun, lighthearted, series about girl power, friendship, and fairy tales. I loved each book, but Ariel’s was my favorite!
This was a good book. It brought me back to the Seduction and snacks books. This book will have you laughing out loud in places.
Ariel is a feisty, spit fire. She knows what she wants and she goes for it. She’s got a lot going on in her life and she needs to figure out what is more important to her. Or can she have it all?
I love Eric. I love everything he does for Ariel even when she gives him attitude. He wants her so much that he’s willing to do whatever just for a piece of her time. Can he show her he’s the real deal?
This book was really good. I haven’t read the other books in the series but I’m going to. I love the chemistry and comedy in the books!
“I will not succumb to the V, I will not succumb to the V…”
As I suspected, the author saved the best for last. Ariel, the redhead with the fiery temper and no filter. She won me over in the first book and I’ve been waiting for her story ever since. I knew she was hiding secrets and I couldn’t wait to find out what they were and who would be man enough to Kiss the Girl with armor thicker than Ariel’s scales. Yes, I did guess, but I wasn’t sure at first because she’s abrasive to all men, but one, in particular, brought it out of her more than most. What fun it was to watch him attempt to get past her defenses.
I thoroughly enjoyed every book in The Naughty Princess Club series. What a unique and interesting idea the author’s imagination conjured for our entertainment. It’s the perfect #GirlPower #LadiesNight #LaughTilYouCry #SwoonAndSigh remedy for whatever ails you. I guarantee that these quirky friends, their witty banter, and their unconditional love and support will leave you with a smile on your face. They have no problem with day drinking and their unconventional solutions to problems are hilarious, they do their best brainstorming while drunk. I will never see a Disney reference without being reminded of these naughty princesses going forward. I’m anxious to see what she will come up with next. The line forms here…
Ariel’s colorful language, loads of snark, and that in your face attitude, man…you just knew she was hiding something behind her tough girl facade. Oddly enough, as much as I liked her in the previous story, she was almost too rough for me here. It took until after the first quarter of her book before I really got invested and I’m glad I stuck it out because that ending…
Eric was dashing, witty, and the only guy I can think of who was brave enough to handle Ariel’s hot mess! He wasn’t a hero rescuing a damsel in distress. He was the kind of hero who built someone up when least expected-and had her back when she needed it most.
With an adult twist to a favorite fairytale, Kiss the Girl was a snark fest of jabs and hilarity! Sometimes it was OTT, but that was also part of the charm:)
I voluntarily read and reviewed an advanced copy of this book. All thoughts and opinions are my own.
I received this ARC for an honest review. I LOVE THIS SERIES! I am bummed that it is over. I loved every sentence. This book is about Ariel and Eric. I love Ariel’s smart mouth. I can relate with her with the self esteem issues. Ariel had an horrible ex who always put her down. Afte the divorce she was determined to never let someone else dictate who she is. Eric is more than the playboy Ariel thinks he is. Eric supports her in every way. There is so much more to this story, but you just HAVE TO READ IT. I found myself laughing throughout the story. I finished it in 1 day. I just love how Tara Sivec mind works. This a a fitting end to the series, but I hate to let them go. I just want MORE!

I purchased this book on Amazon.
Tara Sivec is a USA Today best-selling author, wife, mother, chauffeur, maid, short-order cook, baby-sitter, and sarcasm expert. She lives in Ohio with her husband and two children and looks forward to the day when all three of them become adults and move out.
“I want to be part of your world.”
Ariel is one-third of the Naughty Princess Club and a fiery personality. When things take a turn for the desperate, Ariel finds kindness in the form of the very handsome Eric Sailor. As Ariel tries to clean up the mess that has become her life, she starts to realize just how amazing the people in her life and their love for her can be.
Female empowerment at its absolute finest. This book is filled with so much positivity and sisterhood. I love that Ariel found her footing and her confidence through her struggles.
Tara wrote such a great spin on The Little Mermaid. She incorporated the details and aspects and various characters from the original story we all know and love.
The emotional aspect mixed with the fairytale element made this a charming and steamy twist in a classic story. If you’re looking for a book that will make you cheer for the underdog and stomp your feet in solidarity- this is the book for you.
I tried to read this in 2018, here is take two on trying to read it. Oddly enough the first page reminded me why I stopped reading the book last time. I couldn’t get over the fact that she literally used the Princess’s names and their significant others as well for the whole series just throws me off. When I first asked to review this book I was excited because it was suggested that it was a retelling of the Disney stories. Unfortunately, Ariel is not actually a mermaid. I didn’t read the first two in the series even though at the time I had wanted to. Ariel and her best friend’s Cindy and Belle own a business called Naughty Princess Club. Cindy (Cinderella) is a house wife and Belle is a librarian. I probably would have been better off reading Belle’s story. I was really excited for the mermaid factor. After I got over that though the book was truly fantastic. I need to read the first two in the series. Eric and Ariel have such amazing chemistry. I was always laughing at something in the book. Plus, it brought forward a lot of important topics without hitting them too hard. Like narcissistic husbands/boyfriends, changing who you are for a man. Hating your own body because of what someone else has said to you. Having to learn how to love yourself again. I absolutely loved this book. Tara Sivec you are an author I will be keeping my eye out for. WHY AM I ARIEL!!?? Every word that comes out of her mouth is hilarious and I always end up feeling like I’ve said something similar. Also, Ariel’s dad is absolutely dad goals.
Tara Sivec knows how to entertain us with a sassy heroine and a true prince charming that on the outside you wouldn’t think fit together but once Eric gets passed all of that snarky humor Ariel uses to keep the wall around her you see that he is the perfect one for her…because he is the only one that can get passed all of her snarkyness.
This book had me laughing out loud so much at one point I was doubled over! I listened to the audiobook version of this book and the narrator CJ Bloom did a phenomenal job with it.
I’m sad that this is the last we will see of the Naughty Princess Club….maybe Tara will surprise us in the future with additional princesses. I for one really, really hope she does!
Ariel Waters is having a bad day. Wait, make that a bad year. Not only did her husband take away her confidence but he is now her ex-husband and taking her money by getting alimony from her. And Ariel cannot really afford that payment. She quickly discovers that ignoring a financial institution’s phone messages and mailed correspondence does not make a debt disappear – Ariel finds her house and beloved antiques taken over by the bank! Enter her beloved friends Cynthia and Belle to keep her upright and from getting arrested. But this wouldn’t be a fairytale without a prince to the rescue….
This book is flat-out hysterical, so beware when reading in public! Ariel sprinkles f-bombs in abundance when she feels cornered, which these days is often. Her fellow Naughty Princesses are her perfect posse. And her prince? Frenemy Eric Sailor is knows just how to handle prickly Ariel. His blend of wit, kindness and dimples manages to save Ariel’s day!
This author was new to me, but no longer. I really liked Ms. Sivec’s writing style, even done in a “normally-I-do-not-like” 1st person voice. The comedy, the sweet, the steamy (oh yeah, it gets hot) are all blended together to create a very enjoyable read! I plan on sitting back and reading the first 2 books in this series pronto!

Ariel’s book was the one I was most looking forward to in this series. She’s been the snarky, witty, intriguing one from the start, so I was keen to get into this one. She does not disappoint. We get all of these traits we have already witnessed in the other books, plus the underlying emotions and issues she is dealing with. And of course, she does have a soft side somewhere under all that too.
Eric was a great male lead, and perfect for Ariel. He totally understands her, and matches her with attitude. Definitely a match made in heaven.
There are plenty of side characters in this I wanted to smack upside the head too. I was glad to see them get what for by the end.
All in all a fun and enjoyable read, with lots of emotion and lots of wit. Look forward to reading more from Tara Sivec in the future.
I received an eARC of this book via Netgalley. This does not affect my opinion of the book or the content of this review.
The final book in The Naughty Princess Club by Tara Sivec Kiss the Girl is a romance inspired by The Little Mermaid. I’ll be honest I wasn’t looking forward to this one. I loved the first two books of the series, but Ariel was never my favorite character. She’s crass and rude. She’s that obnoxious girl who has to be the loudest in the room (you know, we all know one of them). However she quickly won me over as I learned more about her character through her perspecitve.
Ariel is not the character I thought she was. For one she’s a hoarder of antiques, she’s broke, and she’s nursing a broken heart. Her boisterous attitude is a cover for the insecurity she has felt since her ex-husband left her with nothing and feeling like less than nothing. Her ex is a piece of work that I’d love to punch, but that’s not the point here. The point is Ariel is a fun character, one I enjoyed getting to know and laughing with in her book.
And then there’s Eric Sailor *swoon* I thought that In Bed with the Beast would be my favorite book of the series and my favorite book boyfriend. I was wrong! Eric is swoon-worthy to the max. When Ariel’s house is repossessed by the bank, Eric takes her in on one of his yachts, no less. He’s had a thing for Ariel since the series opened, so I was curious to see how this would play out. And I admit I loved it. I loved Eric with Ariel. Like her, he’s not the character he’s been portrayed to be – the playboy slut, center of attention, lavish living guy. Nope, he’s all those, but he is more and I loved reading his character’s growth in this installment.
The plot of this one is slightly different than the others. Stripping was Ariel’s idea, and she has the body for it. But her ex was a piece of crap that made Ariel insecure about her looks, specifically her curves. As a result, the book follows as Ariel finds her voice figuratively and her courage to strip.
Overall, Kiss the Girl was my favorite installment of The Naughty Princess Club. I loved Ariel and Eric. It’s a enemies to lovers trope and it’s perfect for these two characters. If you enjoy fairytale retellings and explosive chemistry, I highly recommend it.
Ariel’s life is crumbling down around her. The one person there to help pick up the pieces is the most annoyingly handsome man she’s ever met. Ariel doesn’t ever want to rely on a man again. All Eric wants to do is help her get back on her feet and show her that all men aren’t like the one that destroyed her self confidence. Ariel fights her feelings tooth and nail but those dimples and his hairless cat wears her down. Will Ariel finally become the naughty princess that she’s always been or will her fear hold her down for good?
I LOVED THIS BOOK! Ariel was always my favorite character in this series. Her book did not disappoint. Ariel and Eric are the perfect duo. She is so rough around the edges and though you think at first Eric is just a shallow guy but he is so much more. The banter between the two of them is priceless. It is truly some of the best work by Tara Sivec. She is the queen of laugh out loud dialogue that only a few people would actually say out loud. Ariel reminds me of the characters in her Chocolate Lovers series. She doesn’t hold anything back. In the end, Ariel is so much more than just the bawdy, no-holds bar chick. She has a heart…though if she were here she’d definitely stab me in the throat for saying that. Overall, I will miss this series terribly. I can’t wait to see what Tara Sivec comes up with next.
