LUCIAN
I am a Dragon Prince of the House of Smoke… and I am dying.
Five hundred years is truly enough for a man like me. A monster. Yet a ten-thousand-year treaty will die with me, if I don’t spawn a dragonling to take my place. My two brothers are no use in this task. It falls to me, the eldest by a hair’s breadth, and yet, I cannot face the horror of another sealing. Another death. Another … Another death. Another woman’s blood on my hands.
ARABELLA
I was saved from death in a dark Seattle alley by an impossibly beautiful man who swooped in on golden wings. Now he’s taken me to his lair, opened my eyes to a world of immortals I didn’t know existed, and given me an impossible task—find him a mate. Then, and only then, will he set me free.
He needs her more than he wants; she wants him more than she should; and the fate of both the mortal and immortal worlds depends on not just repairing their hearts, but finding a Love that’s True…

I liked the build up to the love scenes. The story was good, too, however, this is not a stand alone.
I tried but couldn’t get into it
Cliff hanger
I enjoyed reading this book. For me, it was a quick read. I started it about 10:00 PM, as I was heading to bed, and I finished it up just before 1:00 AM. So definitely a one-sitting kind of book.
The story was good, I though. There was a great deal of attention paid to the emotional undercurrent of each of the main characters. That is something that I appreciate so much in my books, so it was awesome to see.
At the end of the book, I was glad to see that there is another book that follows because, honestly, there was way more to this story than can fit into one novel. There are more characters to be fleshed out and side stories to expand on. There are layers to this world – the angels, the demons, the dragons, the wolves – we haven’t hardly even gotten to see the wolves in the first book. I wonder if we’ll see more of them in subsequent novels? I hope so. I love wolves. And then there is the story line of Arabella and Lucian themselves. It’s clear that we’ve only just begun with them.
When I got to the last twenty minutes of reading, I was almost starting to stress out over wondering how all the loose ends would be tied up before the last page. Naturally, given there is a sequel, not all ends were tied up. There was a sense of anticipation and wonder and hope. I love that when I’m reading.
The one thing that I struggled with in Kiss of a Dragon was that huge plot points seemed virtually ignored in the entire book. For instance, the disagreement between the Winter and Summer courts. What is it? or Zaphon’s personal grudge against Lucian. What is that about? For me, a book is asking a lot of me to have me accept as fact that there are these huge disagreements without any indication as to why. It feels a bit like taking a tour blindfolded and having the guide say, “And to your left there is a stunning vista. I realize you can’t see it, but trust me, it’s there. And moving on…” I like to see the details for myself, but that’s just me.
This was a fun read, and a fast read. I will definitely be checking out the rest of the series.
Loved it
I enjoy most paranormal romances. Just getting into Dragons.
Love these type of fantasy! Good read.
Fantastic read
I love this book. I didn’t expect ot to be as interesting and heart wrenching as it was. I can’t wait to read the rest of the series
An unusual story line and well written.
Enjoyed the book!
Real page turner. It is a series, so be prepared to read multiple books to get answers to questions unanswered in this book.
I got bored in the middle of this book and haven’t finished it. The theory is great it’s just a bit dry to get through.
I liked this book so much I ordered the series
It brings you to the climax then stops only to have you buy another segment of the book. I hate that. It should be easily identified as a cliffhanger.
I do not like cliff hangers or and their story continues.
Very hot read! You’ve been warned 😉
Loved it. Can’t wait to read all in the story line.
Hot sexy dragons! Best paranormal, romance, suspense action books you will ever read. And plenty of hot dragon sex. Get the 10 book series and you will want to read all of them.
Easy and enjoyable read.
